Volume controll with scroll wheel

Hello together,
Does anyone know if and how it is possible to controll allways the volume of your complete phone with the scroll wheel?
For example:
When you are playing music with the media player and the player is running in the background. On your display you have another application running like TomTom. Now, if you want to change the volume of the music, you have to take the media player to you display and than you can change the volume with the scroll wheel.
Is it possible, with a register setting e.g., to controll the volume of the music without taking the media player to the display?
Thanks for help.
Greetings Pudl
I'd like to that too. I'm used to be able to do this with my treo 700wx... I'd like my p4000 to do this....

lol what the crap. thanks
While we're talking about the music player...
Is there any way to change the headset button functions?
Like... double press the button to skip to the next track?
I've been using MortPlayer because of that ability...
It doesn't let you change them, but a single press pauses and plays... a double press skips songs.

iOS like microphone button controls.

Like iOS has headset's microphone button click gestures during music playback:
1 click - start/stop music
2 click - next track
3 click - previous track
long press - voice control
can similiar gestures be ported to S II via a 3rd party app or something ??
Thanx in advance !!
PowerAMP has 3 of those 4 gestures, the last one I'm unaware, but it could have it.
you mean if i use poweramp and then i would get the some controls via my headset's button near microphone like i have it on my ipod??
sorry for too many questions i am a n00b !! :-/

Yes, PowerAMP lets you stop/pause (one click), skip to next track (two clicks) and skip to previous track (three clicks) with your headset's button.
Thanx man !!!!!! You are the best :d
