Download Camera ICS from market.
It's the same ICS camera, with more options: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.moblynx.cameraics&hl=en

plus set 644 permissions and change owner and group to root. Now it's safer and you shouldn't face any app error.

Try this
These files are From ICS 4.0.4
How to?
Extract files.
Make Backup of Same files in System/app
Push files in Zip to system/app using Root Explorer or Any other FM
Click on Camera.apk and Hit Install.
Test it..!
In Case if anything Goes Wrong
Push the Backup You Made in system/app and click on Camera.apk Hit Install.
Then again open the Zip and Push only Camera.apk in System/app and install...!

Official jellybean camera doesn't have full screen video recording too. I think LGcamera will suit you better. Download it in playstore
