Hello all.
I was wondering if there was anyone out there that is currently running the energy blue rom on their T-Mobile Amaze 4g device?
I was hoping if you can please test Slacker Radio, or if you already use it, to let me know if you have problems that after about 3-4 songs that it stick on current song and will not play the next song.
I have also tried Pandora but that seems like it skips songs randomly.
Does anyone else have this issue.

Hi, i'm using ENERGY 19 NOV CHT2 ROM..
I'm experiencing weird issues when using A2DP from the phone. When i played the music from Music Tab in Sense, everything is good for the first song, but when the music moves to the second song, there's a like 5-10 second blank gap in the beginning of second song.. After that, the music played fine. I noticed this happens when the screen is off (standby), but not when the screen is on.
Is there something I can do to fix this?
Thank You.
[EDIT-1] : I realized that the next song would not even comes out of the bluetooth headset if i don't light up the screen !!
Do you think updating to latest 3.14 ROM will fix this issue?
bump up!
is it only me having this kind of problem? share your experience using a2dp in HD2..
[Q] How to make the stock music player work "properly" with car bluetooth...
My main issue with the stock music player is that when the car shuts off, the player should pause the music. Instead, it resumes playing but over the phone's external speaker.
-Samsung Galaxy S2 international model, bone stock (no root), latest available firmware through Kies.
Just giving this one final bump. I can't be the only person who uses this phone for music
i dont have this problem... as soon as i turn off my car the music player pauses... actually even when im listening to podcast on dog catcher it pauses when i turn of the car. im using 2.3.5 flashed to villainrom 3.0

Thanks for the suggestion, but I am on the latest official firmware.
try a different rom then... it depends how much does this issue bug you? a solution has been offered with Villain ROM, but now you have to decided if you want to root your device to fix it or not?

Appreciate the help. Was looking more for the "hey idiot, you missed this setting" from someone else who may have experienced this. I've installed Google Music, which seems to be working fine. If TW Music starts to annoy me by popping up, I'll root and freeze it.
After trying various software combinations, I'm starting to believe that this was a hardware issue. The phone seems to think that a headset is being plugged in and unplugged rapidly when I disconnect Bluetooth. I can't find anyone else with a similar issue. I decided to return the phone.
Since it was a Latin America model from Amazon, I decided to instead purchase the UK model from Expansys. Same price, but also a $20 coupon code to help reduce the cost. Expansys also gives me the full 2-year warranty, and Amex gives me a third year on it. I can refund my Squaretrade warranty if I so choose, so this saves me even more money.
Just received my new SGS2. This one's from the UK (last one was Latin America). Seems to have a slightly newer Samsung build, but is still 2.3.4. However, still experiencing the same issues with Bluetooth audio. Sometimes the music stops when I disconnect, other times it resumes over the phone's speaker. Yet other times still it seems like the phone is in a fight with itself where it will pause, then resume, and sometimes go back and forth a few times. When this occurs, the music will be playing but the music player will have the play button up as if it's pause (so I'll have to hit it twice to actually pause the music).
Currently on latest available UK unlocked firmware, stock music player, although I have observed this occurring with ANY music player that I install. Just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing this and if so, what solution(s) you may have come up with.
Thankfully, 2.3.5 is right around the corner for UK unlocked, and I'm hopeful that it will address this.
I havent seem to run in to anyone with this issue.
I pair my phone to my car stereo fine in the stock GB rom. Play music and talk on the phone endlessly.
But with any ICS version so far, even official. It causes reboots, randomly.
Am I the only one suffering from this?
Not the same, but something similar.
I can connect with my car stereo, have to do it twice (once for music streaming and once for handsfree). Once connected, i can stream music fine. Even the controls on my steering wheel work. When I receive a phone call sound is muted and i can talk fine as well.
After I hang up the phone, the music doesn't come back, only a 0.5 second stutter every 2-3 seconds. On my phone, in the music player I can see that it's my phone that has the problem; the visualisation displays exactly how i hear the sound.
This behaviour also occurs when I turn off my car and turn it on again.. there doesn't seem to be a single thing that i can do to get music to play again, just some fiddling usually gets it to work (but then i have to stop my car first before i can have music..)
If anyone has any ideas for troubleshooting let me know!
I honestly think ics has compatibility issues with certain bluetooth devices.
We can only hope they realize this and take measures to correct it.
Gingerbread is flawless.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA
Just a notice that this seems fixed for me now.
I've upgraded to the 4.0.4 Rom found here: Click!
Next to this i'm using the app "doubleTwist"
ICS talks a different language then gingerbread when it comes to A2DP, especially for the play/pause commands, which seem important to me..
A2DP issues
I find I have similar issue. I have a SONY bluetooth deck in my car and my phone will lock up and force restart mid song or mid phone call.
Anyone have any ideas apart from flashing that 4.0.4 Rom
Scroll down I resolved other problem, but I have another now lol.
My 2012 Yaris stock radio bluetooth will not let me adjust the volume on my radio when I am streaming music.
When I use anything with sense on it, it is okay, but when I try using ASOP or anything without sense; it is not
Suggestions?
Did you try reflashing the ROM after a full wipe?
Thanks! That worked!
I just need to figure out why my car volume for music streaming through bluetooth isn't working
Would you know? ^_^?
EDIT: It was working with the HTC music player no problem, but when I switched to liquid; my phone uses google music now, so that could be a reason. Any ideas how I could switch to the HTC music player or some other one to set as default?
Do phone calls work through Bluetooth?
Typically when you flash/re-flash a ROM you have to re-pair the phone to the car. The car will most likely remember the phone but you would have to Allow the car to read data from the phone.

Yeah I re-paired it. Still no good
I have a 2012 Yaris with a stock radio that has bluetooth. I am going to try a ROM with sense on it and see what happens.
Going with InfectedROM eternity to see first.
EDIT: Okay with sense the streaming works no problem and my radio says streaming audio, but without sense or on liquid; my radio only says BTA
I don't know anyway around this I really like liquid too!
Okay, so I somewhat figured out the problem.
My phone running on liquid does not let me put the "pairing code", so this might be stopping my phone to directly connect to my car stereo.
Any suggestions on fix?
I purchased my DNA a couple days before Christmas and have been loving it! I have an issue and wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing it?
I installed TuneIn Radio and all the stations that I try to play constantly buffers. They will play for a few seconds then buffer then play again and buffer again.
This happens constantly. I can't listen to anything for more than a few seconds at a time. My signal strength is strong and I get 11M down at worst when using it.
Everything seems to work fine on WiFi and I have not seen the problem there.
Has anyone experienced anything similar in TuneIn or another streaming app?
Thanks,
Vince
Yes I previously would use Tune in radio to listen to podcasts but the buffering was maddening. Works great on Wifi but for some reason it does not work well over lte. I have moved on from tune in and am now using Stitcher which works perfect over lte.

Thanks for the reply. I thought it might be the app also, but two other phones on lte side by side stream without a problem. I also have an issue where scrolling the list of episodes in Netflix is not working correctly. If I swipe down the list moves up a little and a swipe up moves the list down slightly (very jerky and in the wrong direction).
I've done a couple factory resets and reset the sim with the same results. I'm going back to the store this morning to exchange this unit for a new one. I'll see how things work out after that.
Thanks
Just a note to let everyone know that I no longer have the buffering issue after replacing my DNA. I also heard from TuneIn Radio and they just released a new version that may fix the issue for others that were experiencing excessive buffering over LTE.
Thanks,
Vince
i use TuneIn over LTE all the time and have never had a problem.
