Please help me, can you please tell me how to change my android version to 2.3? in a easy way to understand. well im newbie about this. i have already rooted my x8, so tell me what the next stage to do.
theres a plenty of info about this at here, but i still a little bit confused. tell me step by step. im sorry for being noob. :crying:

first, i`m a chinese ， my english is not，last day I found X10 2.2beta3， so I`m very happy to upgrade, But I read a lot of tutorials, I found that wo must Xrecovery my phone，I do it ,but When I restart the phone，I press the return key，It still stuck in SE.I can only pulled out the battery.
anyone knows how to solve this problem？

hi everyone im new to this site but have known about it for a while, i have an x10 mini pro and have seen software upgrades to make it run android 2.3 but i dont know how to do this ,could somebody help me step by step(if you have time) tell me how to do this. i followed some instructions tonite but messed up.

If you check x10mini development you should be able to find the flashtool from binary, it roots and flashes roms for the whole xperia range.

Hi Guys!!
I apologize in advance for being such a n00b ... buuut here is my problem :
I want to try to downgrade my X10 mini pro ( U20i ) from 2.1.1.C.0.0 to 2.1.1.A.0.6 and the first ( and best as they say ) solution I find is the Flash Tool... so I downloaded the version 0.6.8.0. , and I also have a SE PC Companion. Sadly haven't got a backup ftf file... so I downloaded one... and every time I try to flash it... it brings up one error :
ERROR - ERR_SEVERITY="MAJOR";ERR_CLASS="SECURITY_CLASS";ERR_DYNAMIC="SIN header verification failed"
What is that mean? Or what would I messed up? I have tried many times to search for it in the whole x10mini/mini pro forum threads but no success at all. I have Rooted the little fellow, and also put a xRec on it, no problem at all... but with flashing... its getting on my nerves. So could you help me please, or give me a hint, I really show my gratitude for it.
Ps: I Really sorry if I'm a n00b, simply I'n really new for this.

Unlock the Bootloader, that would solve your problem, eeerm it solved mine

I have read alot of answers even downloaded alot of roms in pc but how to install them on phone ?? im really clueless plz help me with a step by step procedure with a good rom I dont mind VGA camera but I really need update my phone is way too much slow tell me easy nd usefull process I will be greatfull for every answer !!! :-(
First You have to root the phone, and after that install xRecovery, which will allow You to flash new ROM. I won't help You with choosing ROM because I'm X10 user

Okej I was following krappabel tutorial and managed to do something wrong, I think I skipped some file and found from some other tutorial prerooted system from nypon, and now I am back to 2.3.7 and my phone isn't rooted... Is ther any option that I can get newest version for Xperia P 4.0.4(or higher) and getting it rooted? I failed this once and I would like some help so I can get what I wanted....
aswell someone mentioned that I need ROM and I got no clue what that's, so if anyone could tell me what files I need to get for my Xperia P
Kernel, CMW? ROM? ICS? Firmware? FTF? I dont know much about this... please anyone out there help me please
