Recovery bootloop without usb debugging enabled - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

Hello, I have soft bricked my Transformer Prime. I am currently in the recovery boot loop and cannot get into adb shell to unbrick it.
For some reason, my computer has deleted the drivers for my prime and since I do not have USB debug enabled, my comp doesnt recognize my TP when plugged in. I am trying to install drivers from my phone and then replace with the universal naked beta drivers but my computer keeps telling me that my drivers are up to date. I hate windows. Any advice?

Cannot connect to ADB

I am having a problem with my MAXX where if i type in adb devices, i get no devices connected. Because of this, i cannot root this phone
(Yes, i have the drivers installed)
Can anyone help?
Stupid question but have you adb debugging enabled on the device?
did you restart the computer after installing drivers? i had the same problem and a restart fixed it for me
Is the usb debugging enabled?
If you are on win, is the driver properly installed?
Its better to have your phone in "charge only" mode while connected to the pc....

HTC Driver for Win8

Im running Win8 on my PC and want to S-OFF with Racoon. But the drivers in the Racoon Websites are not working with Win8
Any help ?
You need to uninstall all existing drivers and software of your phone from your pc.
You also need to disable driver enforcer signature on your pc.
Then boot your phone Into bootloader and select fastboot, connect your phone into your pc and it should appear on your phone as fastboot usb, nothing will appear on your computer because it has no drivers.
You need to go to device manager on your pc and you would see android 1.0(make sure your phone is still connected).
You need to manually install drivers for it which could be found here( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1998650 )
After you successfully install it, everything should work fine and your pc should recognize it on adb or fastboot

[Q] USB driver without nvflashing?

Is it possible to install the USB drivers without NVFlashing again??? I have smoother_bean rom installed and everything works just fine, except that when I connect my gtab to my PC it only recognizes it as a APX device with a Yellow triangle with exclamation mark. Thanks for help!
Even out of APX mode you have to use the same drivers that are in the NVflash package. Just connect the tablet up and have it booted up in either the ROM or Recovery and then guide your driver installation to the same folder you used installing the APX drivers. In the ROM you will have to have USB debug turned off for some reason in order to install the generic MTP drivers explained in the DRH tread. Most of my transfers are done in recovery or via USB flash drives. Also I run Ubuntu and not Windows and the drivers are not needed. Last time I ran Windows XP I used those same steps, but couldn't get MTP to work until switch my OS to Ubuntu (Linux).

Click to collapse
Thanks Nobe, (I did not want to clutter your ROM threat cause I have seen many complaints about ppl asking simple questions like this and do not really contribute to the development aspect ).... I will try to do this once I get home later tonight and hopefully it will work. will keep updated

[Q] Device Not Found - On Custom ROM

I cannot seem to get Windows to see the device when in USB Debugging.
I've installed drivers from http://www.lg.com/us/support-mobile/lg-VS985-Metallic-Black (v2.18.0). Uninstalled and reinstalled. Switched back and forth from PTP to MTP and back again.
Restarted ADB a few times but device manager is still showing drivers not installed when I switch to USB Debugging. As soon as I turn this off it will connect, but of course I cannot see my device in ADB.
I really need to update TWRP as I'm currently on 2.8.0.
I'm an idiot.
Solved with ADB drivers...Sorry...

Unlocked the bootloader, tried to flash recovery, no can't connect to ADB

As the title suggests, bootloader unlocked no problem, tablet was connecting to ADB at the time, tried to flash recovery which as far as I can tell was not successful (I can't boot to recovery, get the injured Android icon), now I can't connect to ADB (get the "List of devices attached" result). So I'm completely stuck, can't move forward, can't go back to stock, what do I do?
Edit: Apparently it's an issue with my PC, my wife's PC worked fine, why it worked to unlock the bootloader and then stopped I have no idea. Can anyone link me to a solution to get ADB working on my PC again? I tried removing/re-installing drivers, rebooting, you name it, no luck.
With your device booted into recovery or the system do you get anything in device manager? If you get a device with a yellow exclamation mark, right click it. Go to where it allows you to choose a driver from a list on your computer. Select adb android composite (or something like that)

Thanks for replying.
So before unlocking the bootloader, with USB debugging enabled I could get the tablet to connect using the ADB driver and could access it with ADB but could not access storage for file transfer, with USB debugging disabled and switching the driver manually to the MTP driver I could access storage but not ADB. I have had other device drivers installed on this PC for my Galaxy phones, I had issues initially with the tablet connecting but showing a yellow exclamation mark, then I removed all of the Android USB devices using USBDeview and installed the 15 second ADB tool to get it working, I'm on Windows 8.1 BTW.
After unlocking the bootloader, with USB debugging enabled I cannot get the tablet to connect using the ADB driver and but it does show as an ADB device with no yellow exclamation mark, I just get the "List of devices attached" result and anything that tries to access the device via ADB hangs or fails. I can still switch the driver to MTP and access the storage just fine.
My wife's PC is a Win7 box and has never had android drivers or ADB installed, I used the 15 Second ADB installer on her PC and the tablet works for ADB and storage access with USB debugging turned on, so there's something I'm missing that needs to be wiped out or reset on my box.
