How come it's Wi-Fi only if it's ASKS for a SIM-card!? It means it's 3G+WiFi
Maybe you can't read..... It's Wi-Fi only... it has the wrong software on it obviously.

I doubt that. Im pretty sure its the user not the tablet with problems.
Some roms were asking for sim althow wifi onlly were displaying missing sim. Most instalations will ask u either u have WIFI or 3g flyer; or there can be 3g removal tools for diferent roms. _U first really need to pick wih one want as they all should be sutable.

Can you get into the settings menu at all? Please provide all the information you can, for example what hboot & etc. does it say?

It doesn't work? As in, you don't have internet on your phone? Is your phone rooted? The only thing I can think of is flashing a new firmware.

I do have internet on the phone. Its a known bug which have many solutions on the web but none of them works.. and no, my phone is not rooted.
I'm trying to find a solution without rooting or wiping data..
please help.. my phone is bricked..

It's bricked now or are you trying to get attention? Just wipe it. It's an easy way out.
If all else fails, you could always contact a Samsung service centre, as long as you can provide proof of purchase I'm sure they should be able to unlock it.

I guess the "brick" have a different meaning for the two of us.
I didnt want to wipe it, its my sister's phone and she had important stuff.
Anyway, she found out she was trying the wrong username the whole time.

Hey, guys. I'm from the mainland of China.
I'm using your ROM and really like it very much.
But yesterday, I sent a short message to my friend with no reply.
This morning, he showed the message to me. It is just nonsense. The message is just like this:" %^*[email protected]~&#($#@%%^^@!%^&($#@^^&&@!"
It cannot be read so he didn't reply my message.
It was said the messages sent to the China Telecom customers will be nonsense. Someone says we can edit the framework.jar in the system/framework. But I'm not able to do it.
Could you help us fix this bug or tell us what we can do to avoid this?

if i remember correctly, the T-Mobile Galaxy SIII is not the International i9300...so you have flashed a firmware that is not compatible with your phone

Its bricked man.this is the international SGS3 forum the t-mo version is very different to the international version.there is a seperate forum for the t-mo version.

Do you know how to go download mode? It is volume down + power button + home button. If it is really fail to do so, try to connect to pc what happen, does the device response? Don't panic, forum is your friend.

Yes this member is correct the forum is your friend if you cannot get into download mode manually buy a jig 99c on ebay that should work then flash stock. And only download roms from the correct forum hope this works for you.

I would also try taking it back to the store, simply saying that it just won't boot. I have a feeling they might just give you a new one right away. If they ask whether you have modified it somehow, just pretend like you're stupid and don't know what they're talking about.

did you have any locating app on your phone any kind of security then its possible
Try Android Device Manager. If that doesn't work & you didn't have 'anti-theft/loss' software already installed on the phone, you're SOOL.
