Solution:
Wallpapers in stock ROM, can be found in two system apks:
1. In the framework. This is where the default screen and launcher wallpaper is stored.
How to get the wallpaper out:
-Pull Framework-res.apk from /system/framework
-open it in a zip manager or just extract it.
-the default lockscreen wallpaper is located in res/drawable-hdpi
Note that, hdpi is not constant and it's only based on the dpi of the phone, Galaxy SII is hdpi while galaxy Siii for example is xhdpi
-the default wallpaper is located in res/drawable-nodpi
And
Other wallpapers will be stored in the stock launcher apk file.
E.g.
-For galaxy SII, the stock launcher is Touchwiz.
-So you will have to pull Touchwiz launcher (touchwiz30launcher.apk)
-the wallpapers will be located in res/drawable (just check all the folders with drawable and dpi)

In CyanogenMod - CMWallpapers.apk > res > drawable-sw600dp-nodpi

if you are looking for Original wallpapers in Galaxy S3, don't trouble yourself, you can get it here: Galaxy SIII wallpapers for galaxy sii
However, If you would like to do it yourself, then you must know/learn how to extract files from firmware .img files
Thanks, i would want to learn how to do that should i search or do you know how?

Hello All,
I've been looking for a way to install the S3 weather Widget onto my Note I717. I'm currently using UCLF6 (official ICS) rooted, but I cant find anything. A CWM zip would be awesome. I tried extracting the apk file from a custom rom and pasting it into my /App folder but it would crash when I tried pasting the file. Any help or info would be awesome!
Thanks in Advance!

Try this, it applies most of the GS3 stuff to the Note.
Ahhh poo.... PhMod doesn't work on the official rom.
I want one too. Thanks
Thanks for the replys, I would really like to stay on the stock Rom (Not use Goldie) but I would like to use the S3 Widget. I did find a post that flashed the S3 touchwiz but it wasn't for the Note I believe it was for the SGS2. Not sure if it would work, I guess I could Nandroid backup and reflash it and see if it works.....when I attempt it i'll let you all know. If I could extract the S3 touchwiz and widgets from a custom rom like "objection" or "Goldie" I would..but I just dont know how. As I said before I extracted the Weather/Clock Widget from the custom objection rom and placed it in the /system/app folder and rebooted but it didn't show up in the Widget selection....if theres a step i'm missing i'd gladly listen to suggestions. Maybe adding a file to the /lib folder or something? I'm willing to try anything. Thanks again for your responses.
I took Asus weather widget realized from the hybrid rom and use it on pretty much every other rom. The way I did it is download zip and extract it. Go to /system/app/ and look for the widget apk. Copy and paste it to /system/app/ and set permission to rw-r--r-- and check the drawer for the widget. I don't know if that helps or not.

I apologize if this has been answered. I've searched in the i717 forums but can't seem to find a straight answer. I'm using flappjaxx's latest with the touchwiz ux launcher (flashed through the OTA tool). I'd like the accuweather widget as well from the S3. Is this available to us? If so, can someone give me a link to one that works? thanks!
Is touchwiz nature ux available for xu stock rom????
I found a cwm flashable zip bt It was made specifically for galaxy s cm10

Hi,
On my SGS II - I9100 I have a ROOTED stock official ICS ROM with touchwizz.
I installed Nova Launcher, with that I can customize many visual aspects.
But the notification bar stills as is it, with stock colors, icons...
My question is: While being rooted, how can I change visual aspects of the notification bar?
Thanks for your help.
Best regards

On my old Ace (5830i) I used http://uot.dakra.lt/ UOT Kitchen to change notification bars. Of course the rom I used was Gingerbread but I see from the kitchen features it seems to support ICS/JB. One of the banners ststes it works with ODEX stock roms.
Points to note is that iirc the edify type (used to create the update script) for S2 should be EMMC type not Galaxy (Ace).
You would need to upload the system files from the /framework - framework-res.apk and from /system - SystemUI.apk as you are using Nova you should not need to worry about twframework-res.apk (if this file even exists in ICS as I know more about GB)
If this helps let me know, a thanks button click is nice too ofc!
Good luck
