Hello guys, I am Jelly Sandwich developer. It's a ROM for Xperia arc S, check it out ---------------> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1836993.
With one guy we've ported it succesfully to Ray and I want to provide Jelly Sandwich also to Neo/V users. Any owner of Neo/V who wants to port my ROM? It's really fast, it's not joke. If someone ports it the thread will look like that:
1st post owned by "porter"
2nd post owned by porter
3rd post owned by me, so I can still get "thanks" buttons for developing the ROM
Anyway, the thread must look exactly the same as Xperia arc S's one. I mean, screenshots can be different, but the structure and general look must be the same.
If anoyne wants to port my awesome ROM, please write in comments your application, port Jelly Sandwich, upload. And test if it works of course.
If someone wants to stay in touch with me, PM and I'll give you my Skype, right?
So... If you port Jelly Sandwich you'll get a lot of "thanks"es of course. In Ray development section everybody loves that ROM and the "porter" got about 100 "thanks"es in less than one week. Really worth it.
Thanks in advance.
Ragards,
Max - the Jelly Sandwich developer :3

Hey guys, need some opinions on the best*Smooth Lag free Custom rom for unlocked bootloader ICS
Depends on the user I guess, for me best ones are AOKP and miui 2.5.4.Downside of aokp is video camera,fm,hdmi not working while in miui tad little slower than aokp(but very useable) and everything works, not sure about hdmi tho
As ThilinaC said, it's up to you.
Some people prefer CM9(FXP), some others AOKP and others Stock!
I prefer AOKP because it's really smooth and it has a lot of customizations!
well for me the most smooth, lag free and bug free is I-Scream 10 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1570499
its awesomeeeeee
but it's up to you
Hahas! Alrights Keep commenting guys, share ur views ;]
for me, KA18 Ice Cream Sony release by krabappel2548, very nice and bug free
so far the stable & fully customisable ROM found for Neo/V is AOKP_build01_by_emannxperia, but bluetooth & videorecording not working.
Build 2 gets bluetooth working but some lags.....
Atleast for sometime gonna stick onto 1st build.....

Can't we port honeycomb to our 2011 mdpi devices??? We have a lot of experienced developers in our side though !
Honeycomb is just for tablets, we have got gingerbread, ice cream sandwich and jelly bean roms.
Why should we need honeycomb?

Yeah, it can port. But It's hard. Because It's for tablets. If u really need it Bro, learn how to port roms and u can port it.
Devs not going to port this though.
But 'haka' ported it for xperia x8.
But it has many bugs.
So good luck

All Roms are nice.... Can't zero down to just One Rom
Many neo/v GB Roms too ... You can check my Sig for links and afaik codename was quite stable GB but I can't comment now since 3-4 GB Roms have also been added and I've not tried it....

Hello guys,
Just a simple question, any other IDEA how to make this general section more dirty? I'm curious :-|
and just in case I call this a forum not a chat room!
so all I can say is thnx for making harder to find something useful in general section for me!
with all due respects seriously love you guys!
No offence though
PS: and there is already a Q&A section here
PSS: to admin, moderator or anyone here with some power it would be really great to make a discussion thread in Sony sections. thnx.
Root it -> Unlock Bootloader -> Flash Sliding XP v7.3 Kernel -> Flash Experience V2 (ROM)...

Install Slinding XP kernel 7.3, you'll get a much smoother phone and install ACID Audio Engine v7, for awesome sound.
i have been using my xperia p for 3 months with stock rom.just got on with rom cook.never better.
You should just wait patiently and not do anything until JellyBean rollout.
which ntituses
i am waiting too
I am Also new to Xperia P but Old to Xperia . I am waiting for JB.. JB will be great on this device (I think. ) In xperia P forum every thing seems to be paused.
Which unofficial rom do you suggest for xperia P. This stock ICS really sucks. I came from htc with cyanogenmod7 and must confess that even that was better than stock ICS. I was waiting for official JB but comparing stock ICS and CM9 (experience only from htc) I do not believe that stock JB will satisfy me.
I need fast, stable and customizable rom with eyerything working.

Why? I am just asking which rom is good
i'm using this rom and i'm very happy

try it and you will see
hi friends .
Why developers dont try to port xperia z rom(itself without theming or...) Or xperia T rom (itself without theming or...) ? IS it easy ?
If i wanna do it , I have to port xperia z applicaticons one by one ?
porting an aplication is like porting roms ?
-------------------------------------------------------------
and why dont developers port sensation rom for xperia 2011 . one of developers did this but that project forgeted early !
please answer completely ! maybe we can see our devices run xperia z official rom ported to our devices ! :highfive:

It would be easy to port it. But it would be only avalible for unlocked bootloader. The Xperia Z got a fast CPU , so i think the Z Stock Rom would be laggy.
I booted up Sense4.0 on neo v.. Htc one v stock rom.. WIP.. Its not so easy dude as you think it is.. Porting Xperia Z to neo v? Its like putting up Ferrari engine into your motorbike Afaik Its NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE..
Be happy in what you got.. Great ppl like Mike, already doing the best they can for us..

Each phone has limited hardware and so you can run only limited apps.
All the new Xperia phones have dual or quad core processors and 1-2 GB ram which is twice-four times more powerful than our old aged devices.
We can port Xperia Z/ZU roms for our phone but then we have to compromise with the performance that we don't want.
So bro be happy with what you have.

Maybe he only use it private , i mean only for him.
We got a launcher and a lockscreen ported , and we can enable/disable On-Screen-Buttons , so why do you like the Z stock one so much?

It has bugs.. Many.. As I said porting isnt easy and more over wen its from different manufacturer.. All devs are busy, I don't think anyone will help solving those sense bugs

Hi there, @ mosi.sh asked me to be here said, so
I'll say this of himself:
Everything is going to port and get to the highest degree, but you have to spend a lot of time and desire
Not everyone has the time. Doing a port rom you have to remember that we developers have also written other roms for different devices.
What can someone do roms on a number of bugs and lack of updates previous roms grow.
I do what I can to get far the best result in my roms.
However, if you get the highest degree of stability in my roms that I gladly take up a port from Xperia 2013
