Remove simlock Xperia U - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Ok people, i am tired of reading posts like ask your provider to unlock your phone... my friend gave me xperia u, and i want to unlock it. it is not rooted or bootloader is not unlocked
any FREE software able to do that

No. Guess what I'm going to say? Ask your carrier to unlock your phone.

No way to unlock bootloader but you can ask carrier to remove simlock.

This is not true. There is a paid service to clear the CSCA area of Xperia phones. So, after that you get the unlock sim phone with rootable bootloader. I did it on SE Acro HD. You can get the information here

unzip both attached files, run root and recover while connected to the pc and run follow instructions, then open recovery, run bat while your phone connected, you may have run it a couple of times, you will need to be rooted 1st.
I already rooted my phone and installed cwm.....I want to flash cyanogen Rom in my Xperia which bootloader unlock allowed says :No

Full csca certificate unlock using Sony s1 signature server is a solution apparently. Just waiting for it to come back online.
You can check the status of the server here -

Yep, unfortunately.
I have had it confirmed by a couple of people on here that they've done it and it works.
You have to buy credits to use the server.
Www.microunlocker.com is one site that offers the service using ezSemc software.
Cheers,
Lunar.

I am waiting patiently for this server to come back online. If you Google it, there are rumours it may never come back online.
Someone set a thread up here saying it worked and from that thread, someone else tried it and it worked for them.
I already gave the people money to buy credits, but they refunded me saying the server is offline for an unknown amount of time.
So no, but I'm so annoyed with it being blocked I am willing to try, and then post the results here.
I missed the server being online by a couple of days.
Cheers,
Lunar.

yes, if and when it comes back online. it was online about 3 months ago and the cost was around 60 US.
The last time the s1 server was down it took a year to come back online.
I have heard rumors that it might not come back.

[Q] Unlocking Xperia U

Hi guys! Can I make sim-unlock on Xperia U , using unlocking code?
I have phone on contract (o2, UK). Also, I have bootloader unlock allowed: no
Is it posible to unlock sim, and use different network. And will unlocking code allow bootloader unlock?
Sorry my english
Yeah if you're on o2 and you got your phone from o2 they will unlock it free of charge, bootloader unlock will not change after you unlock it though

I don`t understand, why o2 can unlock it for free for everybody... maybe I want to steal it! If I stop paying, i can use it... They should block IMEI or something else... It's unbelievable
When you say unlock you mean to allow you to use it on other networks? If this is what you mean then o2 will unlock the phone for free if you bought it from them on a pay monthly contrAct

[SOLVED][Q] Unlocking With Test Point Fails[Can't Use TP, So Use the Official]

Hey guys, I'm not a noob or somekind of it but this is my first attempt to Unlocking Bootloader with Test Point Method on My Xperia Ray (My XM Unlocked by the Official Way)
But i always encounter this error "qcReceivePacket: Can't get packet start."

This has been discussed in the thread on how to unlock the bootloader using tespoint method.
As far as I remember your phone's building date is too new and you can't unlock using tespoint. But I'm not sure

Ive heard of it but don't know wt is it..!!
I know there was a way with the Xperia arc which was paid through testpoint unlock which also kept your drm keys but I'm not sure if it will work with 2012 Xperia's you'll just have to search for the arc thread then ask the developer if it's possible
