Hello and thanks in advance for any help!
I used this method
galaxys3root(dot)com/galaxy-s3-root/how-to-root-galaxy-s3-on-mac-osx/
to root my phone.
I can't seem to get it into cwm recovery and instead it keeps going into android recovery mode (3e), I managed to get into cwm recovery once to flash SuperSU but now when i want to back up my rom it boots into android recovery.
I've installed rom manager and I gave it access when the pop up showed up. I tried going to cwm recovery through the app but it takes me to the android recovery instead.
Any thoughts?
Thanks again!
I rooted my phone last night and installed Cyanogenmod 10. I had it working fine, but my contacts weren't loading. I tried to restore data from the recovery I had in CWM, but when I restarted my phone it's stuck at the splash screen now. When I try to boot into recovery, it goes directly into the samsung recovery instead of CWM.
I'm not really sure what I should try next, as I can't get into Cyanogenmod or CWM. Any ideas?
Use Odin and flash CWM recovery again. If necessary re-flash CM as well. Should work.

Hey guys .. I unlocked my Note 2 last night and it booted me right into TWRP where i was able to make a backup of my system. On reboot, I accidentally installed Clockwork ROM Manager and stupidly installed clockwork recovery on it.
NOW Everytime I boot into recovery it only boots into CLOCKWORK. I have tried using GooManager and the ROM Manager itself to reboot into TWRP but every single time it reboots into Clokwork.
Please help as I really want to flash a ROM ASAP using TWRP!
Thanks

you have to use goo to download the open recovery, which is TWRP. I'll see if i have a zip that i made that has TWRP.
I already did that. I used the GooManager to Install the script and it rebooted into Clockwork instead of TWRP

Go there and download the zip version of twrp you want. Flash it in clockwork. Reboot to recovery and enjoy twrp.
So i rooted my Samsung Galaxy Exhibit sgh-t559n and installed CMW Based Recovery and oped the recovery mode, then before i decided to install any roms i Tried to go back to the normal screen and when i selected reboot it just turned off and came back to CMW, And if it's relevent I have CMW Based Recovery Version 6.0.3.6 and there is a warning that says Warning: No file_context. So Bottom line every time i try to get out of reboot recovery mode i just get sent back to it. Thank you in advance.
