Hi all.
I have noticed with my note that the volume button... mostly the down... are so simple to hit without knowing. Is there an app or some setting that allows me to lock volume up, or make it less responsive?

I was wondering whether there was any way to get the option to use the volume buttons on the x8 to skip songs while the phone is screen is locked/off? I know about the lockscreen touch controls that are built in but it's a lot better with volume buttons.
Is it only a CM7 feature? Is there perhaps an app that can do it? I'm using froyobread v21...

as far as i see with both minicm and froyobread just leave the +button for the next song and the - for the previous one, didn´t need to make something it's already built in

try to press and hold volume button while the screen is off..
It's a feature included in FroyoBread since "I don't remember when", hold the volume button for maybe 1' when lockscreen is on... I've just done it : it works.
Anyone know where I could find something or maybe a build.prop tweak so I don't have to turn the screen/ unlock to change songs.

If you're using your stock headphones you can double click the pause button for next track. The real question is if anyone knows where you can buy a line-in with the volume rocker and pause button on it, for the car...
They managed to do it for the htc evo with aokp. Was one of the few things I loved the most about it.

Is there a setting somewhere I am missing to make the notification volume the same as the ringer? It is so annoying to have to change both each time.
Also I know I have been away from android for a little while, but where is the setting to calibrate the keyboard? I can't find it anywhere.

So with the phone in my pocket and pulling it out I often hit the home or volume keys with the screen off. Is it possible to lock these buttons and make only the power button light up the screen to unlock?

Thanks. The volume buttons will adjust the volume on anything playing with the screen off. Really annoying when I use my phone in the gym and every time I touch the phone I adjust the volume.

Yeah that I agree on, from ur post I took it as ur volume buttons are waking ur phone up so my bad but as far as I know there isnt anything as of yet.
