Stock rooted 2.13 ROM? - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

I am looking for a stock rooted 2.13 ROM to flash. I see a bunch of modded ones in the android development section but I am looking for a pure stock one, can anybody point me in that direction? I'm not seeming to have any luck.
Also, can I just flash it over my current 1.22 version like an OTA would do without wiping data?

You should be able to flash a the ROM without losing data but it would probably be better to use titanium backup to save all the data in case something doesn't go right
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1860728
Stock Rooted DeOdexed 2.13.651.1its always a good idea to wipe the phone

If it is purely stock then try wiping just cache and dalvik cache at the least. As om4 said above, make sure u back up in titanium and/or make a backup of your data before flashing.
Just went from stock 1.13.651 to 2.13 with flex's stock with goodies. Wiped only the caches and it installed fine. Everything like I left it.
U may want to try the flex rom too. It is pretty much all stock with multitasking fixed.
Ask me about my ability to annoy complete strangers!

I flashed the 1.22 ota without wiping without any problems. I'm sure if it is modded in various ways it would be a problem but taking an ota doesn't wipe your phone. I'm gonna try the deodexed version. Do I have to flash the firmware/radios as well?

Nope

I use the same one you're asking for. Just a stock, no modified ROM + Root.
I would still advise wiping before flashing this as well as updating your firmware if you haven't.
Alas, here is the link for the Stock Odex 2.13.651.1 http://d-h.st/som
Hope this helps.

Just flashed the deodexed stock version plus the new radio/firmware update and everything is running great. Thanks for the help guys!

Radio questions...

I have just recently rooted my TB and have since flashed a different radio that accompanied the injected theory rom. I have since restored my backup-up of my device, bofore flashing injected theory rom.
When restoring a backup, does the radio change back as well or do you need to re-flash the proper radio when you go back? How do you know what radio you should be using at any given time?
I have attached a pic of my software as it is right now and I would like to know what radio I should be using because ever since i flashed a different radio with injected theory rom then went back to my backup I have had some connection issues with 4G.
I found this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1045081 but I don't know which radio to use or when.
Thanks for any help anyone can offer.
Radio is separate from the ROM/kernel combo. Radio does not change when you flash, nor is it backed up. Any ROM you flash should have the radio requirements listed in the original post. If you flash a ROM and don't have the right radio the worst that happens is you get no data.
I keep every radio on my SD card in a RADIO folder so I can flash a different one if needed. I've been using the "MR3" radio but you won't find it here. Just do a Google search for it.
courtesy of my rooted bolt
You're on 402W which is an MR1 radio. You can try any MR1's you want but the one you flashed for that rom is probably the newest. Some users have worse luck with newer radios than older radios and that may be what you are noticing. Your original was probably .223r (assuming you are talking about before you rooted and the rooting was done before the OTA).
If you want to stay on your current rom, just find any MR1 radio and it will work. Many are listed in the pinned list (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1081930) such as http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1045081
Radio is separate from rom and will not be backed up in recovery but you said that you flashed a radio when you flashed the rom so yea...but you said it "accompanied" the rom so I'm not completely sure if you actually did or not.
Either way, MR1 roms need MR1 radios...MR2 roms need MR2 radios (or the GB leak)
MR1 is for froyo ROMS base and MR2, MR2.5 and .704 is for GINGERBREAD ROMS base

Thanks for the help. Now, is there a specific order necessary to flash? Should you flash the rom then the radio or the other way around, or does it matter? Also, if you wipe data then flash a rom, should you wipe data again when flashing the radio or is that unnecessary?
Sent from my TB using XDA App
Doesn't really matter. Some flash the ROM then pull the battery and go into hboot to flash the radio. When I moved from froyo to the GB roms, I flashed the ROM, rebooted, pushed the radio to my SD using ADB, and then flashed the radio. Since I now only run GB, I have only flashed one radio since i moved from MR2 - the original leak.

Usually flash radio first then rom

I wipe data/factory
Wipe cache partition
Wipe dalvik
Format/system
In that order ......also format/system is under mounts/storage

Unable to mount sd-ext, can't flash kernel

Hi guys, so yesterday I decided to take the plunge and unlock my evo 3d with htc's tool. It seemed to work as expected (s-on with unlocked banner). I was then able to flash cwm 4.0.1.4 and root using the su zip floating around on here.
My issue seems to be that aside from the nandroid backup I made all the roms I have tried break wifi giving the wifi error instead of on or off. I tried synergy rom, viper rom and viper rom with silverneedle. I also noticed when I was flashing in recovery it would say unable to mount sd-ext and it looked like under the settings> about phone> software information that the kernel had not changed.
I'm at a loss as to why, but I think it may be related to htc's unlock method, although I am fairly noob and may be totally wrong. Any help is appreciated.

Since you used the HTC method then you have the newest OTA updates and bootloader. Your banner should say S-OFF though if you had a typo above about that.
You cannot flash a new kernel yet with the new hboot. You need to stick with the stock one for now.
When flashing other ROMs are you doing a complete wipe first? If not, that might be your problem.
Go to the Development section. Many useful instructions and guides are there.
That's what I was afraid of, but that wasn't a typo. My bootloader says ****UNLOCKED**** with S-On. I was reading that this was what was to be expected with the htc unlock though.

If it's still letting you use Super User and says you're rooted then it should be OK I guess. The main thing is when switching to a completely new ROM you should always do a full wipe - everything except sdcard.
There's a superwipe zip you can flash in recovery that will do all the necessary wipes for you.
I was wiping data/cache and dalvik cache. I'll take a look at the superwipe zip. I'm ok with stock rooted for now but it would be nice to use roms at some point.
Sent from my Shooter using XDA App
Yeah just wiping cache and dalvik isn't going to work. New ROM means backing up apps (if you want), then full wipe. That will wipe the system and data too (and I think android.secure and sd-ext).
Ok. Finally got everything to work. I used superwipe but I also had to use one of the synergy nightlies based on 2.3.4 to get my radios to work properly. Currently running synergy build 331 and it runs great. Thanks for the help

I have the same problem:
wifi error
Kernel doesn't change
Also my Android version now shows 2.3.3
Can you please tell me how you got it fixed?
Sorry I'm a noob... Details would help. Thank you
if you upgraded to HBoot 1.5 and used HTC's unlocker you have to install a 2.3.4 ROM or the WiFi and possibly 4G radio will break. If you are interested in Synergy ROM try their RLS1 build or any build version 319 or newer
i cant post a url here cuz i am still a new user on the forums but go check out the official nightly folder linked in the following thread:

Random Restarts

Any ideas as to why my phone will randomly restarts when it's sitting idle after a fresh ROM install, full wipe, cache, dalvik, system?
I'm installing the latest MeanROM and latest Infected Eternity, same result.
I reinstall all my apps from previous ROMs from either myback up pro or the market

I also had this problem on my Replacement EVO 4G, which scored me a free upgrade to an EVO 3D lol. Is your phone Refurbished?
Are you restoring apps+data or just apps???

If your using an after market battery, take a look at my post :

Thanks for replies!
Bit of background:
-This is a new phone (and by new, i've owned it since it was out of the original box), not a refurb.
-HBoot 1.4
-S-OFF
-When I mentioned restoring the apps from MyBackup Pro, It was only with APKs; but it also happened when I just had it redownload them all from Google Play. I did the restore method via MyBackup Pro as an attempt to see if it would help.
-Stock battery
The only thing I can think is it's an app that is just not sitting right with the ROM?
I'm using the Infected Eternity ROM now and it just will randomly restart when it sits there idle.

What software are you guys ? 2.17 or 2.08 ? I have seen a few folks have issues flashing 2.17 builds because they are still on 2.08 software and never updated to the latest...
When I look under "About phone" it says my software number is 2.17.
I've done the RADIO Only update, other than that I haven't done any other updates. I know there's the software update thread but I was hesitant to do it because I wasn't clear on what it was doing except for the RADIO ONLY update. I don't want to update my HBOOT to 1.5 lol
Bump? To the top!
Are you flashing a different kernel with your rom??? Also you should flash the aio that freezas or haux put up because I'm taking a guess here but I think your running a newer base Rom with out the updates and from what I've read that can cause some issues. Here's the hboot link that haux posted flash the one with out the hboot. I've personally flashed both of theese zips without issue. Also you should "IMO" not ever use Google to restore your apps or data. It has been know to cause system conflicts. I've never used mybackup so I can't comment on that but I'm sure its better than Google Lol I'd recommend using tb or tb pro. Also I'd recommend only backing up really important apps and just reinstalling the rest to avoid conflicts in the future. Hope this helps.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21441428&postcount=403
Also after you flash that you should do this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10878511&postcount=8311
That should help with the issues. Hope it does.

The first link I get this: "Valid download request check failed.
Please click here and try your download again."
I just did this about 20minutes ago before reading your reply: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21374142&postcount=131
Do you think that is the same thing and sufficient for what I may be missing that's causing it? Next I'll do an SD card wipe if it continues
Are you trying to download this from your phone ??? If so try a pc. Also i have the zip if you cant download it. However I just tried it and the link works. Remember download the non hboot zip. Also if your trying from your phone use the stock browser and open up the settings menu and uncheck mobile view to see if that will allow you to download the zip. Also the first link I posted is a more up to date zip than the one you flashed.

If you have s-off on 1.4 you can update to 1.5 without losing s-off. That's what i did, used htcdev method to unlock bootloader and retained s-off. I used revolution to get s-off originally.
And you probably need to flash all the 2.17 stuff i used a zip that had everything in it found here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21374142&postcount=131
Hope that helps
Updating with the update I linked seems to have worked!
Thanks guys for the help

[Q] Updating ARHD - Confirm my process?

I'm about to update ARHD and I'm hoping someone can confirm my process is correct.
I've got the T-Mo HTC One, Rooted, S-On, Custom Rocovery. I've flashed the newest radio, but haven't done any other firmware updates from stock. Currently running ARHD 22.0.
I was going to "clean" flash the rom, reboot, and then flash a Titanium Backup update.zip for user apps+system data.
Anything else?
Thanks!

Not sure if the Titanium Backup will put things in the right spots, if any of the file structure changed from 4.2 to 4.3.
Otherwise you should be good. I used Helium to ensure that the apps got their data restored, but I was moving from ARHD 9.4 to 31.0
What was your process for moving from 9.4 to 31? I'm presently on 12 and want to upgrade. I've never upgraded firmware (no fast boot access with win 8.1). Thanks!

[Q] upgrade procedure to KK rom

Hey there,
I'm currently on Newt's rom version 2.0 (Android 4.1.2) on my DNA.
From what I can tell, there are some pretty decent roms out there now.
I'd like some help with understanding which is the best rom available (least known bugs such as voip issue or wifi trobule). Had my eye on santod's NuSense. Is the kernel replacement (NuKernel) stable and recommended?
And besides that, I'd love it if someone could help me understand what is the exact procedure I need to go through when upgrading (radio, hboot, etc.).
And besides that, what free backup app do you recommend? TB is great but restoring with the free version is quite frustrating..
Thanks a bunch!

Honestly I had been going from rom to rom, and just restoring from my nandroid backups using nandroid manager. I had been running CM11, but with older radios and firmware. I decided it was time to fully wipe and start fresh, while also upgrading radios and firmware.
First I copied all my data and pictures onto my computer. Next I ran the 3.06 RUU to get me somewhat up to date. Then I ran the KK firmware update zip that santod had in his stock KK thread. After that I installed his GPE edition rom to try it out. It was missing some features I liked in CM11 so I decided to wipe and go back to CM. I installed that, along with crpalmers kernel and the motox KK dalvik libs for CM11. Since then I would say my phone is running better than ever. More battery life, faster, its just nice. I have 0 issues with CM11, no problems at all with GPS or wifi.
TL DR might be best to copy data off and RUU, start fresh. I recommend CM11, especially if you arent the biggest fan of Sense. For backups I just do a backup from within CWM, and restore using nandroid manager
Well actually I really like sense..
And about the backup I was referring to something similar to TB (apps and such)..
But thanks anyways

Nandroid manager will restore apps from your CWM backup, as well as texts and a few other things
coolness..
Well, I think I'm to upgrade to @santod040 rom..
Does WiFi/VoIP work correctly? Any other known issues?
So if I understand correctly, the procedure is as follows:
1. Install TWRP 2.7.0.0 - done
2. Perform Nandroid backup - done
3. upgrade hboot and radio to latest version
4. wipe data+cache
5. flash ROM
6. flash kernel (NuKernel?)
7. boot rom
8. recover data with Nandroid Manager
did I miss anything?
thanks alot!

Format /system as well before you install the ROM. Other than that, you should be golden. Worst comes to worst you can just restore, but you should be fine I've done pretty much this exact same thing several times without issue. Wifi works but Im not sure about VOIP (never used it)
