Hi xda
I think that the lowest volume on the ROM ParanoidAndroid 2.1 is too high, on any other ROM too I think, is there any mod or fix out there to make the lowest volume 1 to something lower or better up add more steps to the volume under 1?
Thanks in advance

Yeah I will do that too, but since it's a problem I've had with all ROMs including stock I will let this be open!

Have you tried third party apps to control the volume?

Hello,
I wanted to share the modified CM9 framework-res.apk which will enable the on screen navigation buttons. Works fine on my CM9 SGS2 04/27 nightly.
Might be a help to users with faulty home buttons, or those who wants a different look. I am planning to modify the layout a bit as per the thread by evilisto in Q & A section.
Just thought will post this in case someone finds this useful.

So this gives us the on screen buttons like the nexus?
Will it work on Omega v11.1?
Cheers

i don't know if i could understand you..am i right if i say that what u r asking for is a rom that allows you to get a higher volume during calls with headphones???
if it is that...then i could say any aokp rom that support any kernel having that option..for example fluxi kernel.
I've been using the perseus kernel for some time now but i have no idea how to change profiles with it. .. I keep hearing people talk about profile 5g/5. I would like to give that a try myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can change the settings manually in the STweaks app, or by flashing a profile in recovery.

Where do I find the profiles to flash in recovery?

They are zip files available in the 6th post in the Perseus thread.

Start with the 5g. That's what I started with, then after all of them smoking my batter I just re-flashed the kernal for the stock settings
Hi all was wondering if someone could steer me in the right direction for a good miui ROM as there are a few so not sure which to flash cheers.

changing the wording doesn't change the fact its a best rom thread
Late again
Find out what like the rest of us. Flash them all use it for a day or two and determine for yourself. The definition for my best rom may not apply to your definition.

Custom roms are also based on stock roms so they might also have this bug.
Try cm9.Maybe it has no bug.

Why don't you try to use illumination bar notification?
I think led bar is more comfortable for notifications. Just my opinion mate
