Hi i'm new here and i doesn't know if it's the right place for my problem but i installed the aokp 4.1.1 rom and now i doesn't have any contacts i doesn' have any app i doesn't have something on my phone google ay is also gone.. I know that it's because i made this factory wipe but thats not the only problem.. I can not enanle the w-lan and i when i wanted to flash back to 4.0.4 odin doesn't reconize that there is my device. My device also says that my sd card isn't working. I think i did something really wrong rhere and i hope someone can help me... Thank you and sorry for my english i'm from germany :/

I just rooted my Galaxy s2
specs:
android version 2.3.4
model # SPH-D710
Kernel version 2.6.35.7-19100xwkdd-CL161513
Build number Gingerbread.EG30
Now i have no wifi and no service. I dont have any programs installed on the phone like cyanogenmod, rom manager or clockworkrecovery. I read that some people have it on there phone but i dont have service so i dont know how to install it on phone if i need it to fix this problem.
I did do a lot of searching but cant find the solution. Im thinking about bringing it to a sprint store to see if they can fix it but i thought id try this post as a last solutuion, im really fed up with this problem now. Any detailed help would be much appreciated...thanks
P.S. i went to settings>privacy>factory data reset and that didnt work and it still shows superuser on my phone.

ok i was able to use odin and flash a stock kernel...now when the phone restarts it automatically goes into recovery mood, it gives me options but i cant select any of them cause i dont have an OK key...I have the spring version galaxy s2...now what do i do?

before i start with my issue id like to say that i have searched and searched and searched for the answer to my little problem and ive come up with nothing that i either understand or been able to solve my problem so PLEASE dont shout, moan or carper about my following question.
first is i own a samsung galaxy s2 i9100 on the three network in the UK, had the phone about a year and successfully flashed ics rooted 4.0.4 on my device.
when I did this everything worked fine except my camera and the ability to watch videos.. skype was fine although i can only see the calling party and not myself.. my own video being always black regardless.
I still have all the files needed should you need to know these. just let me know.
I'm truly sorry about this.. but after all this time im at my whits end with how to solve this..

a very tired dreammaster.
stock kernal on ics 4.0.4 had a camera issue on the sgs 2 when firstflashed.
Just change the kernal to a siyah 4.1.5 or any similiar kernal without the mali drivers and your phone should work fine.
there was also a camera fix in one of the forums.

hi mate how about change your kernel just like said below,i prefer siyah and dorimanx with no mali driver.
well further to my other post i think i have the only s2 that wont root ! i have a new kernel and still have no root , i have done a factory reset and still have no root .. none of the apps that need root wont download. so now i am totally lost as to why this phone will not root ? ? i have the brick bug thats why i changed the kernel .. i have not changed anything else other than the kernel . Any more ideas why i cant root this would be very welcome ! would changing from 4.0.4 to 4.0.3 help do you think ? my current baseband is I9100XXLQ6 as im a total nOOb .. how can i change back to 4.0.3 .. im in the UK so am i right in thinking the LQ part relates to the UK ? if anybody thinks changing back will help sort out the root problem .. could they give me a link to how to do this and the correct one i need for the UK ?

I got a s3 i9300, i want to flash my device to get a unbranded version, the problem was that i install a sch-535 rom, the phone barely works, i cant use data, i barely have signal, but when i reallyze my error i try to flash an i9300 rom but i cant, it stops in the middle and dont let me do it, so i know im stupid, but i really need to fix this, anyone can help me please? thank you guys!

Hi guys!, first of all thank you for your support, here are the updates, i try flashing it via odin and a error was show and it was imposible to flash it that way, because i was desperate and impatient for having it back, i talk to a "expert" friend of mine, he told me that the problem was that the bootloader was locked by verizon, thats why i cant flash it, so he rooted the phone, and download e-z unlocker app or something like that, he install the app and then proceed to unlock the bootloader, everything went well, the turn off the phone for putting it on download mode but the phone wont turn on, it doesnt even charge it was dead, hard bricked :crying: ,so i reallyze that all my impatience went wrong and now i have a 900 dlls brick (im from mexico thats whhy is so expensive, a couple months ago) and well the only brigth side is that im going to try guarantee and say that the phone just experience a sudden death case and hopefully the belive me i´ll keep you guys updated! thanks for the support!
first of all, I asked for an Odin screenshot.
second of all, how can the bootloader be locked by Verizon if it's not a Verizon phone? i9300 is an international unlocked phone. If you messed with the bootloader, then I don't think there's anything you can do

i have a 3 mobile one is based on 4.0 Operating System, another are 4.1 and 4.2... if i am going to update my "Maps" 1) Location and 2) navigation icon disappear in 4.0 & 4.1 OS, and 4.2 is working fine....
Does this problem is only associated only with my mobile or with yours???....
plz help me... and give the answer

its a problem with your phone..... U should try to reinstall or update (if possible) the firmware/OS of your phone which will probably solve the problem
And one more thing.................... Next time u post a question....its a humble request from me that u mention the phone name/brand/model No./root status/ and any other thing if necessary.....this makes the problem clear and chances are that you will get better solutions for your problem..

did this happen with you??? after update the maps your local icon disappear in 4.0 ICS
no it didn't....................I live in india and did not have any official update available...so I manually downloaded the t-mobile US update and installed it by first rooting the phone ,then doing S-OFF,and then installing it via custom recovery i.e. 4EXT RECOVERY..........which is probably the same thing as updating it in the US with the official t-mobile update....
And if you don't understand any of these terms.....please feel free to ask me......I'll be more than glad to help you out
