I bought a Ramos W30HD, and its great, but the Youtube app doesnt show video, just some strange stripes over the screen. The other thing is the H/W acceleration on Videos. Same thing like Youtube, Audio is fine but no video. The moment i rotate the screen the picture appears for sec.

Yes, I can also confirm that. There is problem with hw decoding in Ramos W30HD - all above 720p and streaming apps like youtube. I received confirmation from Ramos support service. We need wait for new firmware. There is no ETA now.
Other way is find and support custom ROM developer
Problem is that retina display drivers (LCD Panel).
Anyone knows a place to find them?
I dont know where to find that :-/ We need to know the name or model of the lcd, right?

Good efford there guys but you only scratch the surface.
What comes from those pictures is a custom made board from ramos it self with quality components Samsung DDR RAM with Samsung NAND.
There should be more components under the board and also a wild guess on the audio chip that might be yamaha.

There are some good and some bad news...
I opened my tablet and on the backside there was nothing... just black Tape, i tried to feel something with my fingers, but it is completly flat.
Now the good news ( I hope), I found the Display Manufacturer...

What is the white chip upleft and what chip lies in the middle under the 2 cables that are blocking the view?
Also i didnt see any wifi wire connection so i guessed that more are in the bottom of the board. (wild guess on wifi chip atheros )

MeXx87 opened it again, he found 2 more chips. The chip who was covered is the "Maxim 77686" I don't really know what he does, than he found another, the "invensense mpu 6050" this is for accelerometer, gyroscope and a few other things.

The "white one" has no caption. I think it's the sound chip, because there are the speakers connected.

Maxim 77686 is the power regulator and driver exist.
Invensense chip drivers can be taken from Google Nexus released drivers.

Once again good news, and bad news...
Bad news is, we maybe never see the source code for the W30 / HD . The guy who made the Customromfor the W30 ( Librehat ) tried to persuade Ramos to release the source code for other models, but they didnt.
Good news is, he spoke to a Ramos guy and he got told, they realy are working on a fix, and he believs that the update could be out this month.
If we identify all the onboard components am sure there is a driver for them already out there, what is badly needed is the OPTRONICS B101UAN021 driver.

Dear friends,
Hi, I am new in Android world but 15 years old in Computer World. Brought my new HTC ONE X+ few days back.
I heard it is having NVIDIA TEGRA 3 QUAD CORE PROCESSOR, but when I get H/W report of my phone from "Hardware info" android application, I found the Processor is ARMv7 Processor rev 9 (v7l). I could not understand whether it is genuiene or not. I am uploading the report please give comment on the Hardware specification.....

That is not a problem.
Me too from India and have HTC ONE X+ (HOX+) AT&T verson S-off and SuperCID. I am also trying to update but in vain... but not failed..
As far as I have studied/reached.....
The main problem is AT&T verson is different from International version in Hardware level as well as in Software level.
HTC ONE X+ should have NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, but LTE mode (which is used by AT&T and other American Carrier) was not supported by the NVIDIA SOC that's why for support for LTE mode HTC use Qualcomm SOC. Which makes the biggest different in the H/W due to which the Firmware / OS/ ROM used in them have different kernel....
Hence it is not possible to use International ROM for AT&T. It will not support simply.....
Ony ROM for AT&T HOX+ can be flushed into them... but .... the new ROM could be Carrier locked (not confirm about that) and CID should be HTC__Y13 or any Carrier Specific CID for getting OTA update from the Carrier.....
It is clear that HTC will not release ROM for our HOX+, we are stuck between nowhere........
Now the only hope is that some one release ROM update for HOX+ Qualcomm SOC carrier free.....
I have come across some updates for AT&T HOX+ right in this forum, but not sure that it will not brick ours.....
Please update asap..... and try to prove me wrong.......

Comparison
After going through the Hardware info of both the Sets (yours & mine) it is clear that they are same... except the Model number...
even fingerprint is same.......
Further AT&T HTC One X is also known as HTC ONE XL, in the same way may be AT&T varient of HTC ONE X+ is named as HTC ONE XL+.

Further I have not tried/updated any ROM till now, I want to make sure that they will work and I am working on the knowledge base to gather some knowledge for the development of ROM.... and system structure.....
I recommend, if u don't have problem with current ROM, then don't update, till a suitable solution.....
By the way I am having problem with signal reception and cellular network bars.... Bars shows 100% network even if there is signal a drop/low signal....

Yea, Today I do some research & I found that my device is S-OFF, and bootloader is locked, and it is rooted too, I had read about others rom too for AT&T/TELUS version. Thanks for your help. So, for flashing a custom rom, there should be correct version and reocery,kernal too, as my CID or SUPERCID is 11111111 , So I Shouldn't care for CID. Now, I am just thinking to install TWRP recovery and Make a BACKUP, As I didn't find any error in this rom, So i will not install any other rom, as I love Stock Sense UI too, Yea I found OTA STOCK AT&T/TELUS 4.2.2 version, So I am thinking to flash it. what you say?:fingers-crossed:

Ya, I was thinking of same few days back... but then realize that we are own our own..how? We have the set, but rooted & unlocked = no warrenty or support from AT&T or HTC or others.
I just want to back up every thing in my phone first before doing any updating / flashing..
TWRP recovery is the best way to backup ROM but it overwrites our current Boot loader (or the Bios & MBR in terms of PC).
Thats why I m taking my time to backup right from Bootloader, radio, BIOS and every other thing that stays there in the HandSet after factory restore..... or in other terms the STATE of the HANDSET after Factory restore...
Better not to hurry......!
By the way u face any problem with wifi reception ....?

Ok, here is what I got at wiki:
HTC Evitare UL (HTC One X+ North America/Telus/AT&T) didn't get any official 4.2.2 Rom for this version, as on searching.
Info got that there is some Carrier Clearance Problem and may be get ota update at Q4(may be in january 2014).
Sorry for the delay and late reply.....
Just got replaced my HTC one X+ with HTC One XL+.
Configuration is same... just the model is diff.
Installed TWRP and made backup of existing system.
downloaded Elecgancia ROM for HTC one X+ At&t,
but still have doubt whether it will work.....

Problems registering to mobile network
Yeh i've found that code too, but the biggers issue is that the mobile has problems registering to mobile network...
I think the baseband should be upgraded..

I ,strangely enough, see that many operators where i live show the message (forbidden) after manual search of mobile networks operator..
Why??? Is there a problem with IMEI or some modem patching needed?
The mobile is not rooted, and i dont know what method to follow since i'm not sure about the right method for this mobile...

I flash only the system.ing of the HDC s5 gold rom...and it works. I put my backup con flashtool and xhange the system..my phone boot up bit my cam only work the front camerA.. But let me tell you.. Its very very fast rom....if u don't use the camera u can flash that rom only the Android img and works well.

Hi , Can you make a backup of your rom please ? I tryed to update it with a rom on needrom but this rom just breake my phone ! Before that i also had touchscreen problem when typing on keyboard . If you can do that i will be gratefull

Hello! Thanks for this awesome thread! I have this exact same device but before I started messing around flashing roms... I made cwm recovery img and flashed via SP flash tool. Also downloaded two roms on needrom.com to see if they work on my SM-G900F that I bought from fastcardtech.com. The SM-G900F golden rom didn't work for me. I hear it boot up and screen lights up but its blank and BLACK. Luckily I made a backup of my rom when I first received it hehe. I was trying to flash for a rom with IR remote. It seems we might have a real HDC or I could be wrong and it can be different hardware than the rest of the roms I tried flash.

So I tryed to flash it with spflashtool 5.XX . The preload file android file are missing . With spflashtool 4.xx it crashed .
androidboi209 Can you share your backup as it's a working backup ? With wich version of spflashtool did you restored your backup ? Do you have the same smartphone as us ? HDC S5 mt6582 with HD screen ? I'm supposed to have one with Ir remote

How did you flash it ? With wich version of spflash tool ? When i was trying to flash it i got android (system.img) missing file . ( because ext4 format instead of .img format
