Hi,
I got Asphalt 7 for free from gameloft because moderncombat 3 doesn't work on my tf300 and they can't fix it.
The race game works good but i saw that u can change the graphics and other things in deviceconfig.xml but when i change something the game will download the normal deviceconfig.xml again and replace it with the one i changed. Is there a way i can bypass that data checking thing?
You need to make sure the edited .xml file is exactly the same size as the one you pull out of the .obb
Also, the tweaks that were done for v1.0 won't work for the latest release. Seems GL are determined to cripple every release on all Tegra 3 devices.
Hamdir did the initial research on this but last time I saw he wasn't looking to spend any more time on it. I've got a working config for the One X I just need to get around to doing the final tweaks but once its done I'll look at getting one here too. The I/O may be an issue on the Asus but I don't know without checking.

Ok thanks for your reply but the asphalt 7 data is stored in a map not in a file on my tf300
I will try to have it the same space

Unless the tf300 is different to the One X the files are in /sdcard/Android/obb/com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftA7HM
Inside this directory is a bunch of .bin files and an archive called main.101.com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftA7HM.obb
To access the files you need you change that .obb extension to a .zip and open the archive on your computer. DO NOT UNPACK IT. Just open it and navigate to /data/DeviceConfig/ and unpack DeviceConfig.xml It should be 22.15kb
This is the file that tells your device to pretend it's not as good as a Samsung Galaxy S3. Can't imagine why that would be.... I would imagine the Tegra tablets like the tf300 are classified the same as the One X and use the settings labelled 'Android_Medium' Edit the settings to suit your requirements but do be careful not to go too crazy. Some settings will really send the game for a Burton. A safe bet is to copy the S3 settings and w ork from there. Go with 'true' for the high quality shaders on cars and buildings and turn reflections on for starters.
Now, this is the key bit. The file you finish with must be EXACTLY the same size as the one you started with. If a setting changes from "false" /> to "true" /> be sure to include an extra space. Tweak the spaces until the file sizes match. SAVE A BACKUP OF THE ORIGINAL DEVICE CONFIG FILE!!!
Save the edited file to your desktop and drag it into the /data/DeviceConfig/ archive. It will take a long time to copy across even though its only 22kb. Finally, once the file has been copied and compressed you must rename the archive back to .obb from .zip or the game will want to download the 1.4Gb of data again. Every time I've done this the game has told me it needs to install another 1mb of data before it runs. As long as the file I create is the same as the original the changes seem to hold. Not sure what it downloads and quite frankly I don't care. Now the game runs as it should and looks lush.
Fuuuuck you Gameloft!!!!
Sent from my partners TF300T - That's what your mum said!!
EDIT: Thanks go to Hamdir for doing this. I'm simply spreading the luuuuurve.
Well the game data on my tf300 is stored like this: sd/android/data/nameofthegamemap there are all the files including devicecofig.xml
I bought the game from gameloft website it self.
EDIT: for some reason i can't upload photo's.
And when i replace or put 1 letter the file goes from 22.94 to 22.52 and when i change it back to normal it stays at 22.52
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
Well yeah that's what you'd expect. I've given an example below:
--Stock DeviceConfig.xml-- - section copied from Medium-Hidev class devices : "android_medium"
Code:
<bool name="use_dynamic_reflection_on_cars" value="false" />
<string name="showTrackLowLODDistance" value="MEDIUM" />
<bool name="use_gamma_luminance" value="false" />
Look at that. Once you've shaken off the natural urge to burn whoever set those values take a look at how the different values are laid out.
--Tweaked DeviceConfig.xml-- - section pasted into Medium-Hidev class devices : "android_medium"
Code:
<bool name="use_dynamic_reflection_on_cars" value="true" />
<string name="showTrackLowLODDistance" value="FAR" />
<bool name="use_gamma_luminance" value="true" />
On every line you remove a letter, you add a space. If you add a letter, you remove a space. Just be mindful that there is a lot of tabulation in the file which I've removed here. Just set the values you want, play around with the formatting and when the file sizes match it's happy days.
Get involved.
Ok thanks for your short tutorial
But when even if the file is the same size i get the 1mb download data. And when i download that it replace the edited deviceconfig with the normal one.
Do you know a solution?
Thanks
To be honest, no. I get that to but my file stays the same. Maybe something to do with file permissions??

Wow that looks good
i gonna try that!
Is this on tf300?
I got it working now guys
I used a diffrent editor and it worked i used s3 settings and made it a little bit better looking from that.

Deviceconfig
I'm a bit busy at work. I'll upload the file as soon as I can.
I would love to have the high GFX config! Please share it when you get a chance!
How do i work the directorybind app? Very interesting if it allows for games to run smooth.
I tried getting gameloft games to move to sd with it but I can't figure it out.
asphalt 7
I guys, I try yours procedure but without success. I tried to rename the obb file in zip, find the deviceconfig. XML and then paste the one I find here, nothing.. The game is still low res... Did you notice there is a device configuration. XML also in the main game directory? Do we have to do something with this one?
I guess my Asphalt 7 version is the latest... Waiting for your tips... ****ing gameloft...

Today I did another try:
1) I try to open the xxxxxyy.obb file and add the devicecongig.xml...no software can do this. In fact from 7 zip to winrar they sad me impossible, archive corrupt and so on.
2)I try to manual edit the devicecongig.xml and add in every row of "medium device" "FAR" or "true". I start the game nothing change, same crappy graphic. I come back and I find out the devicecongi.xml come back to the previous version.
This is very annoying, in the screenshot it seems very cool game, and I have a tegra 3 that is supposed to be the best in graphic gaming...and in my tablet asus tf300 the game look like a ps1 game
daoes anybody find out a solution and want help me?

I am closing in on an imaginary target release for this app. I keep saying it's coming... and it doesn't.
The app is 90% complete, maybe more, but i have been drag-assing. I dont have a XboX, or a job. But I have made a cardboard box that looks like XBox so i can play. I play picture in brain so now i am good gamer.

Hi.
So I am picking up where I paused.
I am going to work on the buddy list storeage now. So we can add/remove buddys from our list.
I already got the import from WMLive app if anybody is using that.
I am putting out the call for testers and a web person to make the html part. If you like XBoX and want to "make the magic happen", please let me know.
Also I need a ini file from Amnaya Xbox app and the Buddy Alarm app if i am to make the import function for them as well... I guess I should make an export/sync option too so this app can manage any buddy list synchronizations between all the xbox apps.
I should have the XBoX tool ready shortly so we can all make feature requests...
And we need a name for this thing. Keep in mind that while XBox will have the most features we can access, this app will move on to Playstation Network next. So words like Buddy, Console, and Notifier are keywords.
So Battlefield Heroes can get player info from a id#...
http://www.battlefieldheroes.com/heroes/195095890
So can Team fortress 2...
awesome cant wait

so i was hoping to use KVV HtmlToday to display info, but i can't seem to get the url working locally. No big deal. I am still messing with it but doesnt seem to be happenin.
I will code up the IE loading process and send it on out to the bunch of people who wanted to try it.
I wonder who is running what today screen?
WM6 titanium panels are going to be the most interesting.

Hi.
So I am working on the console app. Seems to work pretty good on the first test. IE pops open and zoop its gone.
The irony is i cant get activesync to connect. gotta find the IE cache and copy it to my storage card and then zip it up so i can get a good look at it.
then zoom i will have data.
I had to write the bluetooth sync Utility into my Mortifier app so i could update scripts.
OK.
Where was I?
I am working on this as we speak.
I am wondering about IE running in the background?
more soon.
Ok.
Here's the core of WmX.
XboX works completely.
PSN network is a few hurdles away from being ready.
I have questions.
Hurdle 1. My internet explorer will actually close if its in the background. Before it has downloaded the whole PSN page. Yet IE will sit in the foreground no problem
Two options: CBrunner.exe which works great to minimize IE, or just open IE with Mortscript and then switch to the today page. This should also work great, except for IE irregularities on the phone i am using with wm653.
It may be that only my phone's IE closes early. If you try it, whether through my app or on your own, if IE sits in the background and loads PSN no problem, then I can push forward.
I may wrestle with this some more this weekend.
Hurdle 2. If you had the PSN data what would you like to do wit it?
If you have titanium, a plugin could be made with the graphics and data from the web site. thats what i was going for.
this data could also be incorporated into a theme for mobile shell3 or iphonetoday or whatnot.
At some point i may pick up the xbox part and incorporate it into my StatusTicker app just for s&giggles.
If anyone wants to pick up the titanium plugin, let me know and i will help.
Hurdle 3. If we can get a KVV HtmlToday plugin that can show a web page from a local directory on the phone, we can have a WmX today plugin. I have asked the author if it is possible, but he may never respond... I know the @ sign has something to do with grabbing a file locally, but when i try @\Storage Card\WmX\Web\MyConsole.hml it doesnt work.
Enclosed is a complete directory of the XboX.mscr script, which does both, XBoX and PSN, you can just switch back and forth.
Also are the IE Cache files.

KVV Html Today
Well whattaya know,
The today plugin works great with local html. Thanks much.
Let me just say what a big fan I am of KVV's work, not just his html today plugin, but darn near every one of his softwares is also excellent.
Here is a link to his site. (Google translate works great).
Well now that that hurdle is removed, I will press on and get the xbox Today panel fleshed out.
If people report that they dont have the same issues with IE closing prematurely, then the PSN part will proceed as well. I can mock it up using the cache files right now. Once you can see it in action you can tell me how much more effort to place in the Today page.
Thanks to KVV.
cant waitttt
Yeah this does sound like its gonna be pretty interesting. I have been looking for a way to monitor my XBL acct. I came from the iphone to the HD2. So dont let me down heh.
Hi.
So here is a better test version to mess with.
Most stuff works sorta, but this test is for PSN and running Internet Explorer to grab datas.
So if u view your PSN stats u can begin testing.
(Should say PSN actually)
If u want to test the non background version, run the no-cbr.mscr
if it seems stuck, run the wmxkill.mscr and u can test anew.
Next i will tidy up the xbox output and set it to work with kvv Today plugin.
Of course u can mess with the XboX buddy menus by switching to XboX from the Menu.
This version leaves all the debug stuff out and PSN isn't prematurely Exit'ed.
WARNING! THIS IS STILL IN ALPHA STAGES... (v0.2.1a)
And that's because I don't mean it to be a Tube8/porn viewer. It's going to be a video viewer for all types of websites. So until I get to that stage, alpha!
However, it's fully-functioning in the sense that you should be able to get to any movie on Tube8. There are some bugs... I'll list the ones I know below. You MUST follow the steps below to get this working.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
(wow, took a while before I found a kind-of-work-safe image... but you saw Tube8 in the header, you should know better)
STEP 1
This uses PYTHON! You must have PythonCE installed for this to work. I'll explain why in a second, but the link for pythonCE is here..
Get PythonCE
STEP 2
Install the CAB file below. (I'm crossing my fingers that it works ok.)
STEP 3
Copy the THREE .pyw files in the attached zip file to the /Program Files/Python25/Lib folder. (Unzip them!) These are crucial! (Some unzip programs will capitalize the file names. CHANGE THEM BACK to all lowercase if this happens. Python is case-sensitive and it's looking for these files with lower-case names.)
STEP 4
Have a video player set to open M3U files by default. I KNOW this works with CorePlayer. I'm not certain it works with TCPMP (maybe mine sucks ) For CorePlayer, it's not enough to just install it. You need to go into Tools->Settings... then select the page for Associations and check M3U.
One thing you WILL notice is that not all videos will play in CorePlayer. I can't figure out the reason, but some of the videos are encoded in VP6 (FLV4) and Coreplayer can't read them. However, a good two thirds of the videos do work... just keep trying.
OK, maybe you noticed that these python files are named XBMC. Well, my intention is to get most (or all) of the plugins that work for XBMC to work for my app which I think I'm going to name 2Kinetic - Mobile Video Viewer. So far, it should work with the Tube8 plugin. I did not write this plugin, and I would not normally package it with this app, but I'm still in testing mode so... hopefully I haven't stepped on anyone's toes.
You'll notice that PythonCE is a little slow... well, it is not super fast, but I think you'll be able to live with it if we can get everything else that XBMC does working on Windows Mobile. Besides, if PythonCE turns out to be incredibly useful on the WM platform, maybe someone will take it up again and put out a better (newer version).
Known bugs:
-Back button doesn't do what it should always
-If net connection is down, the program will crash
-Images don't show up on the initial screen unless you scroll down, then back up... or you wait until it finishes loading.
-Many more i'm sure...
To Do:
-Write a new class for displaying images and text... i'm currently using listview (small icons). This will let me display more data (vid length) and fix the image loading behavior.
-Speed everything up
-See if TCPMP will open HTTP addresses as streams from an *.M3U file (how 2Kinetic currently works)
-Make a nicer search page (the default one is ugly and not convenient at all)
Future:
-Get more plugins from XBMC to work
-Get a better overall video player to work flawlessly (maybe TCPMP)
-Get RTMP support worked into the program (on the way )
Good idea, thanks.
I've seen your post on WVD's thread. Maybe you're app could enable to the user to fix some html or others to make the app reworking when video-websites have changed. No?
I hope your app will be a "better and working" wvd soon.

I've got some ideas for that... like using an XML file containing regex expressions that will auto-update via web (or by hand). I really wanted to mimic how XBMC does it, but XBMC uses python and pythonCE is not perfect yet. I'm still thinking about it.

Ok, good idea. Do you think that in future your app may enable some "plugins" ? For exemple a dev' create a plugin (xml file) for a website like youtube, we put it in a folder, and it works. It's a good idea, to my mind.

In english please.
How does it crash? Do you have an error message/log?
Just so everyone knows... it will crash if there's no internet connection. It will also crash if tube8.com is unreachable. There is absolutely no error-handling in the program at all. There is no log file either.
I was hoping that someone would say, "Yes it works for me on GPRS."
I'll keep working on it anyways.
If you are having trouble saying what you want to say inEnglish, french is ok since I can understand you, but we all prefer english normally so that everyone can understand
BTW - YOU MUST HAVE NET CF 3.5 INSTALLED FOR IT TO WORK. I think most new roms come with it, so this shouldn't be a big issue, but just in case.

DIAM500
Telus
It crashes for me, I believe its because its trying to save the file to "storage card" but as you may or may not no the DIAM500 only has internal memory no SD slot. Other wise it loaded fine and showed all the previews.
I've forgotten to say it, but it works for me too.
I use an acer tempo x960, with wifi.
For me it crashes when I press flv... If this app tries to save to the storage card that may be the issue in my case (maybe it's a regional or unicode issue... since in my localization the storage card folder is named "Cartão de memória".
PS: If you're going to add more sites I leave the same suggestion as I did for WVD: make your app scriptable in a similar way to PSP Tube (and its mods... here and here are some scripts that may help making the addition of some sites faster). In the long run this would require less (official) updates.

Yeah, it's hardcoded to go to "/storage card/" so it will crash if it's in another language or not there. Well, this was just a test to make sure those sites aren't doing anything other than checking the HTTP Headers for mobile devices.
As for scripting... I did not know that PSP Tube existed. I'll look into those... I was definitely going for a scripted version that others can contribute to since I don't want to be the one to fix it each time a site changes their format.
I'm still working on it...
And thanks for all the responses so far.

Good luck, i can't wait to test new version.
Good to know. Will keep an eye on development.
hey buddy, nice to see this.
i'm working on a similar app for android and started with tube8 too, cause it has easy accecable videos. Maybe we can share information how to extract the video infos.
I try to make my app pluginbased so that it is easy in the future to add new sites. I'm a android beginner (without my own device) so it takes some time.. but tube 8 works quit good at the moment.
P.S.: For android devices its important that the site has mp4 support so the sitesupport is very limited on android at the moment.
sxe: PM'd you...
Failed on GPRS when I clicked FLV...
WebException - Could not establish connection to network
I think I have everything working except for the Search function and the back button...
But the behavior so far:
1. You're presented with a series of menus
2. If you select Categories, it will show you a series of categories.
3. Otherwise, it will show you a list of videos with name and thumbnail.
4. Doubletap the video and it will open CorePlayer automatically and stream it. I had no slowdowns at all like I used to get with WVD and TCPMP (although I think that was TCPMP's fault and not WVD).
Ok, now all I have to do is fix the Search and Back buttons... then learn how to package this whole thing into a CAB file and I'll upload it for testing
Edit: Oh, and I need to put in a lot of error handling so that you guys can tell me what it says when there's an error

love to be part of the beta testers for this, I use dropbox on a daily basis (mobile website version is just well... lacking) and this would be awesome
Hi
It will be a public beta and I hope to start next week.
I've already created a first beta, but I think I will replace the Treeview with a cool animated control.
Sounds like your on the case, I'll be patiently waiting
Keep on watching - www.ruttensoft.com.
We hope to release the first public beta next week
So how is drop box different from Windows Live Mesh??? (Or is that still in closed beta? I've had it for so long I'm not sure lol)
I've been running the first beta for about a week now and its excellent. Sven has spent a LOT of time getting this application to work perfectly and I'll admit its pretty damn close.
Lovin the fact I can now easily upload .torrents and photos from my phone in a matter of seconds rather than going though the website.

Sounds like a winner to me, really can't wait for this - I use dropbox on a daily basis for file sharing and being able to have the access via my phone is gonna be sweet.
Might be a bit cheeky, but could we have some sneaky screenshots?
Hi Matt
Actually I am redoing the whole GUI at the moment. I was using a standard TreeView, which did great, but I decided to go more fingerfriendly. This will take some few days, then I have to get the final "Ok" from Dropbox (they want to test it as I got a special permission to access all files/folders, not just a sandbox-folder which normal API users can)
I'll put up some Screenshot soon

Okie dokie, Finger friendly is good - Seems all reasonable, I'll be waiting patiently for the release... I suppose you have all the beta testers you need? If you would like one more send me a PM
Actually we just had some very few testers for the very first release. But now a lot is changing in the GUI. So we decided to stop private beta testing and go live with a public beta...
But... it's ready when it's ready, we hope next week.
That seems fair - I'll be waiting patiently for release
I seccond that, i'll keep looking every two hours on a daily basis

seen the poll - who wouldn't be looking forward to it.
Hi all
We had an other project who we had to finish, that's why the beta is a little bit late. We are working hard to be able to release a first beta this week or this weekend. Though we cannot promise it. Maybe we will release an Alpha first, with not yet all functions available, so you can start to test it.
Remember: The client will not automatically sync everything to dropbox like live mesh (though live mesh WM client is not really working great, just using a lot of power). But it will give you access to all your files on the Dropbox server. you can download/upload any file you want, you can edit files, move, copy, delete files/folders, create new folders, get properties of files and you account informations.
And, everytime you shoot a picture with your cam using our app, the photo that you shot gets uploaded to a predefined folder on dropbox!
So you can set "Date + Barcelona" as folder and "Barcelona" as filename. Now if you shoot the first photo, the album "\photos\2010-04-06 Barcelona" gets created and the file "Barcelona 001.jpg" gets saved. The next photo will automatically be saved as "Barcelona 002.jpg".
Compared to the iPhone Dropbox application, you have more freedom in downloading/uploading files.
The beta's will give you a chance to test it extensivly and furthermore you are free to suggest useful features which we will try to implement before the final app will be released. Of course there will also be a Trial (15 days) of the final application.
So, going back to work. About to implement a "Favourite"-feature, so you can quickly go to a subfolder with 2 clicks.

This sound GREAT! How much is it when it is done?
Hey guys, i was planning to buy Xperia U despite knowing its 8GB limited memory. While 4GB was more than enough for my music collection and videos(very few), i was just wondering how i will manage to put those high end graphic games in such a small space. Well, i still bought it because of its awesome looks and a dual core processor. I also had the USB-OTG feature but could only play music, videos or read documents through it. So I started searching for a way to move apps(or atleast game/app data) to a pendrive via usb otg. In this way, I could plug in my pendrive whenever i wanted to play HD games which had large size game data. And i came across this wonderful app called DirectoryBind(needs root). This app lets you virtually mount a partition as some other partition. So i virtually mounted "usbdisk/Android" as "sdcard/Android" as all the game data resides in the "Android" folder of sdcard.
Requirements
1. Xperia SL,S,P,U with ROOT access
2. USB OTG cable/adapter
3. DirectoryBind http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410262 or see attachments View attachment DirectoryBind_0.2.0o.apk
How To:-
Make sure u have connected the pendrive to your phone
1. Download DirectoryBind.
2. Open app, press menu button and tap on "Add new entry"

3. Enter data path (/usbdisk/Android)
4. Enter target path (/sdcard/Android)
5. If the game data is in your pendrive(data path) then UNTICK transfer files.
6. If the game data is in your sdcard(target path) then TICK transfer files.
7. Click Add.
8. Press menu button and tap on "Bind checked"
9. Green colored memory/floppy icon on left side of both the paths will denote that directory binding is successful.
10. You're done. Install apk of your game and enjoy! :laugh:
Note- I used DirectoryBind version 0.2.0o

awesome ! how about filming directly to the usb drive ?
This works without transferring the files... put the game data on the pen drive and just link the directories.

Yes...i have written that in step 5th and 6th...the reason i mentioned both the cases is because someone might already be having the game data in the sdcard...

If u wanna bind game data of virtua tennis only, then u shud enter data path as usbdisk/android/ jp.co.sega.vtc/ and target path as sdcard/android/ jp.co.sega.vtc
Bt why wud u wanna do that?? Its a bit tedious to add " jp.co.sega.vtc". Just bind android folder and it will bind all the games!!
is that practice ? :what:
thanks from my xperia u

What is Picture Manager?
Some manufactures like HTC and Sony (probably some more) save pictures taken with an incremented number in the filename, instead with a timestamp like other manufactures do.
When you factory reset your device, buy a new device or clean flash a custom rom, the camera picture counter gets reset and starts with e.g. IMAG_00001 again.
This can be an issue once you backup your files to a harddrive on your PC, because you will have duplicate filenames, although the pictures are actually different.
Picture Manager solves this problem by renaming your taken pictures with a timestamp format that you can select or even define yourself.
You can either start a batch process before you backup your pictures to your HDD, or automatically let Picture Manager rename your files in the background.
Another nice feature Picture Manager offers is that you can let it organize your taken pictures into folders that are named by the year, month and even day.
That will help you to quickly find your pictures again and brings some organization into you pictures.
Requirements
You have to be on at least Android 5.0 Lollipop
How does it work
Picture Manager relies on the EXIF Metadata that is stored into each picture. The EXIF Metadata contains a lot of information, the one Picture Manager needs is the date the picture was taken.
With that information Picture Manager can reliably rename and organize your pictures.
Tasker Plugin
Picture Manager comes with a Tasker Action Plugin. That means that you can start a batch process on different events, like time, when usb gets connected etc.
Premium features
If you want to use the custom format, background service or the Tasker plugin you need to upgrade to the premium version.
To upgrade you can use an in app purchase. Or you paypal me and I mail you a premium code. That way google doesn't get 30% of the income.
Downloads
Picture Manager is available in the playstore:
FAQ
Q: What about videos?
A: Picture Manager can also handle mp4 recorded videos.
Q: What about other manufactures than HTC and Sony?
A: I just know about those two that use an incremented number in their filename. If you know more, let me know. If your files are already timestamped you can still use the organizer to move your files into timestamped folders.
Q: After using the organizer I have sometimes missing files in my gallery?
A: Use the media scanner built in Picture Manager to make those files visible.
Q: Will the background service drain a lot of battery?
A: Picture Manager makes use of Androids JobSheduler, like Google Photos and Amazon Photos instant upload and is very battery friendly. When checking GSAM stats, it is nearly at the very bottom of the list.
This is intriguing. I've been using Sony phones since I first came to Android and I have a LOT of photos. (I'm not bragging, it's just the downside of being able to take them so easily.)
This app could be really useful..:highfive:

So far, so good. I've renamed the files in my main 100ANDRO folder, now I'm just renaming the ones in the other folders and arranging them into date folders.
I like the app, it's proving very useful. I have hundreds of thousands of photos from various different devices all stored on a NAS. This is going to be very helpful in getting it all organised. :good:
It would be handy to have information on the notification about which file the app's working on at that moment (2/300, 3/300, etc). I know we have a progress bar but, if there are a lot of files, that bar doesn't fill in very quickly. Numbers would help show that something's happening.
And it would be really helpful if this could access folders on a NAS, but I appreciate that's probably a lot more work to implement!

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.
Will implement the counter for the next update.
About the NAS thing, that'll be a bit more complex to implement, I'll check that out on the weekend.
Edit: I got it working getting files from a NAS.
With hardcoded values so far though.
One issue I see is the performance. I need to copy every file to phone, read the exif data, rename it on the device, then copy it back to the NAS.
Then verfiy that it is there and then delete the old file.
I'll check when I have more time, how long it takes to perform 100 images.
If it is in a appropriate time I'll implement the feature. Otherwise I think I would suggest to find a windows app that does the same as my app (shouldnt be hard to find)
Copy app files to your HDD, perform the batch and copy back to NAS.
