[Q] Need advice about update - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I have an Atrix that I bought in China, it is a Korean device from what I can tell, branded Tworld (?)
Anyway, I am currently working in China and bought it here and it is unlocked and rooted. And it is running Froyo. I have wanted to at least update it to Gingerbread but the threads with the ROMs are not easy for non-experts and mostly seem designed for ATT models. I never checked for OTA update because I figured it is some kind of hybrid that is not supported by any carrier or anything. Just today I checked and it says there is an update, but I am not sure if it will upgrade to GB and if so, will I lose the root? I took some screenshots, that I hope can be displayed. Should I accept this update?
Hope someone can help.
Thanks in advance

[Q] I9300T Issues

Hello XDA!
Just got my brand new Samsung GS3 just over a week ago and the first thing I see when I boot it up is the branded Telecom boot animation and I almost rage quit because I was never told that I was getting a branded model. I have flashed XXALE8 stock ROM and XXLE8 MODEM to get rid of the branded bloatware.
Now there's two questions I have:
1) I have heard rumours that the GT-I9300T has a preference for the 850mhz band over other bands, now assuming this is true, is this software based or hardware based?
2) Where can I find bootloaders for the GT-I9300? I want to change to a GT-I9300 bootloader, the current bootloader I have is I9300TDUALE6.
Information about the phone is found using play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.curvefish.apps.deviceinfo
Here's a screenshot if you need more info.

Rooting a Galaxy S 4 build VRUFNK1 noobie

I am pretty green at rooting, did it on a droid pro and later droid razr. I recently purchased a used Verizon Galaxy S 4 and need root access with a wifi tethering option as I am still g'fathered on unlimited data on two phones. I have read the thread at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-verizon/general/how-to-root-i545vrufnk1-4-4-2-12-1-2014-t2959613 and being a noobie I'm a bit overwhelmed with doing it. I will need to do a factory reset on the phone before I swap it to my account and assume I need to do that before I try rooting. A few questions I have are; 1. do I need the sim card installed before doing the root 2. Is odin v3.09 an app or a computer program 3. what kind of tethering options will i have (I currently run "android-wifi-tether" on my razr) Is there a better (easier, safer) way if I update to Lollipop 5.? or do I need to stay with the 4.2.2? I apologize for my ignorance.

Rooting a Galaxy Mega 6.3 I9200 (build number not found in forum)

Hello all... I am planning to root my Galaxy Mega 6.3 I9200 phone, I have been doing a ton of reading through forums and it seems that the build number matters in the process... I have searched with the " " and there is nothing about my specific build number which is kot49h.i9200ubudng1 . I would really like to root my phone but it is my only phone at the moment and it is an older phone. All of the posts i have found were from 4-5 years ago. Below is a screenshot of my phone info and I would really like to find out if it is possible to root. Please point me in a direction that I could root it safely and effectively... I would prefer to do it without a one-click app or any type of 3rd party, I would also like a good way to backup the phone to my pc just in case anything goes wrong. Thank you for any help that I recieve.

Of course it is safe. It's official OTA update and it is the full package! However, a backup is advised before updating.
Note that, after the A17 next update that follows is the android 12 realme ui 3.0!!
Thanks @giokou much appreciated.
Just a couple quick follow up Q's if you don't mind?
If I go and do a manual install of the Android12 package, is there some way to relock the bootloader and regain Google Pay usability?
Tia.

Directions are in Korean. Anybody have an English translation?
You can use Google Translator. I will work anyway about
So Android 13 just came out for Verizon in the United States. and the battery life is horrible.
I would say my phone uses at least 30% more battery per day. Hopefully somebody will figure out how to root this Beast soon although if it hasn't happened already it might not sadly. I would go back to Android 12 in a second if I could make it stick.

A settings reset helped most of the problems. Doesn't look like it helped battery drain much if it all though.
