Hi folks,
What is the best method to replace CyanogenMod system icons by stock icons ? I also would like to replace or delete black background app launcher.
Thanks for any help
There is a Xperia Theme for Cm9. Search xda forum for cm9 themes.
For the black background you have to install another launcher.

Don't know if you have found your answer or not, but you can extract those icons from the apk (com.david1171.minimalist.apk) on your /sdcard/App_Manager/App_Backups/user_apps
Anyone know how to install the apllication theme chooser? the app play store does not change the issues apk only allows you to download themes, I want to install a theme of ICS apk
I don't know about theme chooser, but what I do is to install a launcher, ADW Launcher EX in my case, and then I apply the only ICS theme you can find on Google Play for that launcher.
I hope it helps.

that's for CM7. If your not running cm7 then it won't work.

what happens is that the issues of the launcher ICS: ADW Launcher EX, Go Launcher, etc do not change the status bar or other appearances
in any case, anyone know if there is a ROM with the issue of ICS change the status bar, similar to this ROM:

I'm trying to extract the keyboard, browser and mms themes from a theme chooser theme so I can use them with another theme chooser theme. I tried copying and pushing the apk's after applying the second theme, but they were rethemed by the second theme after rebooting. So do I need to extract the individual png's and xml's of the themed apps I want moved and recompile them with the other theme? I was just wondering if there was a better way before I start digging through all the images.
are u by any chance trying to pull the above from the MIUI CM10 theme? just curious, thats what im trying to accomplish. i'd love those apps themed like that on the creamsicle theme.
No, sorry. Just need some apps from Skycore cm10 theme to use on Flow theme.

Specifically, I want to get my app icons themed in all apps not just my launcher. MIUI and CM themes do this, however most CM themes only change gapps icons. What about other apps? I'm currently on CM10.1 and am want to do this with the Micons icon pack.

Use launcher to change the icons. You can use an icon theme to change them in the app drawer. Any further mods will need to be done to each and every apk.
Hi, guys! I want to customize ROM that was customized before by another guy. But I'm a newbie and have some questions.
The first is: how can I change launcher? Now my device works with Apex launcher, but I realy like launcher8 and use it now. I want to have just only one launcher.
The second question: how can i take back an original statusbar. May I just change file framework-res.apk that is now on my device on original.
The third question: how can i remove an original locker and install locker that is being used in launcher8.
p.s.
Please, sorry me if my questions are stupid. It will be nice to see any links with the material that will help me in solution of my problem.
To edit the status bar you could manually edit systemui.apk or you could use uot kitchen.
For the lock screen u could use an app called widget locker which let's you apply themes to the lock screen

The UOT kitchen is not working at the moment. depending on the android version he will also have to edit the code in the framework Res apk
