Hi
Recently the browser in CM10 is not giving precise location. It just gives the main region/city. Not giving suburbs. It used to give that in a few build back. What has changed ? How can i fix that as it was working fine a few builds back. i have tried a few cm10 build..different kernels..i am using the same gps.config as i used before.

Hi all
I have a GT-I9000, always used with cyanogenmod.
I have always used an external bluetooth GPS with cyanogenmods with android 4.0 and 4.1
Now I have upgraded to latest CM (10.1.2 - android 4.2) and in GPS settings the menu 'GPS Source' is disappeared, so I can no longer choose to use the BT GPS
So I tried to see on another 4.2 mod. A friend has a galaxy note II with a PACMAN with android 4.2. Also in his phone no way to choose the gps source.
I tried to search on google and in this forum without finding an answer
Do the support for external GPSs was removed from android 4.2?
Thank you all for any reply
Hi Friends,
I needed help and suggestion with regard to a ROM that I selected and MAPS didn't work.
I have Installed the CyanogenMod version 11-20140917-UNOFFICIAL-i9082 (Galaxy Grand Duos)
It has Android 4.4.4 and the Baseband version indicates I9082DDUBNB1
The MAPS which is crucial to navigation doen't work. It keeps saying waiting for location. I tried to force remove MAPS and install it from Playstore. Still same.
This is the only function that I noticed that doesn't work and I need it. Let me know if there is a MOD required or is there a previous version that works fine and stable, so I can move back.
Kindly suggest.
Regards

This is my device:
Xoom MZ604
I have tried with the stock rom 4.1.2 and others such as EOS 3.0 stable 4.1.1, Cyanogenmod 10 4.1.2 and Cyanogenmod 10.1 4.2.2, all of them running smoothly.
Problem is that on either of them I cannot run Here Maps, I even tried with old beta versions but as soon as I open it it closes immediately. Best I could achieve is a black screen on CM 10.1 4.2.2.
I am attaching the debug logs:
here.app.maps-debug.txt (events when trying to open here maps)
before_opening-debug.txt (event before opening here maps, the app it is mentioned in some lines).
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Same here. Try contacting them thorough email which is available at play store Nokia here app page and provide them the details.
And please do not create duplicate threads try contacting the right people and at the right place.
Guys, to keep it short - I can't get my GPS working. I have installed CM 12.1 on my S2 and it can't get any sattelite fix. I tried numberous fixes (including changing files like gps.conf or tightenind phone screws), none of these helped. All was working correctly when I had stock ROM and now while using CyanogenMod (from official CM site) I simply can't use GPS except for aGPS.
I tried to find solution both here and via google and found nothing, so asking here seems to be my last shot. Thanks in advance.
