Hi, my phone locked up while it was in my pocket, I took the battery out and put it back in and now it is stuck running the Sonly logo over and over.
It runs the logo, then the screen dims ,and the light in the upper right hand corner glows blue and then the cycle repeats.
I have had the battery out for an hour or so and that did not help. I cannot access xrecovery , I cannot connect to pc companion, whjen I plug the charger in it automatically statrs the logo boot screen even with me not turning it on?
Any ideas? thanks

If you can't access your recovery only chance would be to flash tool stock firmware via flashtool

Hello.
I've a Sony-Ericsson Xperia X10 with the lastest official ROM (2.3.3), rooted with Flashtool.
I've tried to uninstall a ROM app (Wize Drive, a GPS app without interest) with Titanium backup (lastest version). It annouced me the phone will restart 2 times to perform the uninstall.
But actually the phone just reboot again and again.
If plugged on power it restart itself. If unplugged, I must start manually (power button) and after a few seconds it powers off.
The cycle is Sony Ericsson logo, and after that a logo on black screen: a phone with a blue arrow and a yellow caution triangle for a few seconds. And it reboot again.
This loop is endless, I can't use the phone anymore, so please help me !
Thank you for your help.
Repair your phone using PC Companion, SEUS or Flashtool
Thank you for your answer.
I've tried with Flashtool and the phone is connected when I plug it but disconnect itself very quicly when reboot, so I can't access to flash tool function (they stay grey the 10 seconds before the phone reboot). Sony PC Companion lose the phone quickly, too.
Update Service has accepted to perform a full restore.
Now, I've to boot it again. When I want to start, I've a blinking red LED. So I plugged the phone but I've a loop again: SonyEricsson on black screen and when the battery logo must appear, the phone reboot... Seams to be a battery trouble, I think it's empty.
Is there a way to fix this ?

The phone don't want to boot even after a night plugged to charger. Just this damned red blinking LED...
So Ive been on M&M Miui Rom for the past 6 months with no problems. Just this morning tho, I received a call, and as soon as I hung up, phone froze. No biggie... Pulled out the battery, pop it back in, and it wouldn't boot. It gets stuck at the boot screen logo (i was on ckernel at the time) and in about 5 secs screen goes blank and and WLOD appears, and goes into a boot loop. I then flashed other kernels but with no luck (I have unlocked boot) I also tried to connect it back to PC Companion but wont read it. I also flashed the locked boot tft and pc companion still wont take it Any ideas on what I can do?!!?

Why don't you try to get back to stock firmware by flashing it through flashtool.?
Sent from my X10
Or try to reflash Rom via Recovery or Flashtool.

Please read up on recover from soft brick.
Normally flash 2.1 stock and go from there. If flashtool won't find phone, start flash process without connecting phone until prompted then remove battery and replace while holding the back button then connect to pc

So I upgraded to a custom ROM, everything appeared good.
I then did a factory reset via menu>settings. Phone didn't boot up past the Sony Ericsson splash screen.
So I rebooted it into recovery. Did another full wipe there. Still wouldn't boot past the splash screen.
It stayed on the splash screen for a few hours then is went off. Not it won't boot at all.
I can no longer get it to boot into recovery.
When I connect it to Flashtool nothing appears to happen except the red LED flashes twice quickly.
When I try to turn it on all that happens is the red LED flashes twice quickly.
When I plug it in after a couple minutes it boots to the Sony Ericsson splash screen, stays there for a while and then the screen goes off again.
What can I try? Any advice would be Great.

the red led flahes means it has very low charge left.
charge it for 1-2 hours and then try flashing stock firmware via flashtool.
If it doesnt work, then put the battery in other phone or external charger and charge it.
Then try to flash stock firmware.
Also, AFAIK you should not do a wipe from settings menu on a custom rom ( I might be wrong about this )

That's what I assumed, but it flashes red like that after being on the charger for 8 hours.
And the battery is not dead because I was getting multiday usage out of it last week.
But I will try what you suggested again. It is on the charger right now...

Honestly I'm not going to go out and buy another accessory for a phone that may or may not be dead (espesially since I would have to order it online).
Maybe I can find a friend that has a X10 though.

Same result as Flashtool. LED just flashes red.
OK I found someone that has an Xperia Play and it appears they both use the BST-41. I'm gonna see him tommorow. Hopefully with a fresh battery I can get it to boot into recovery...

I was UNLOCKED bootloader in my x10 by ( qsd8250.7z )
after 2 weeks it stopped to work
Now when I press the power button, the phone vibrates for half a second, the screen brightens up but does not show anything but a black screen
I tried to connect it to the PC, and PC Companion not finds the device.
I tried to turn off the phone for some time by removing the battery, but as soon as I put the battery back on, the phone's screen brightens and stays that way forever
I am restored My X10i by using SEUS and Flashtool ,, Roms 2.3 and 1.6
but same the problem !!!
Help me
I fleshed Rom 2.1 and Kernel downgrade then Kernel upgrade for unlocked bootloader by qsd8250.7z
but does not work
please help me
Hello guys, my friend was installing some ROMs (jumping from one to other) and he probably accidentally installed wrong ROM.
System loading is in bootloop and then it came to empty battery. Connecting charger to wall charger first shows red LED light.
Then, when red LED disappears, phone immediately starts appearing SONY logo, then XPERIA logo and loading system that can't be loaded because system is in bootloop (since it is wrong ROM) and battery is too low for it (phone is in bootloop max 15 seconds). Phone start itselfs!
That's not even enough to install drivers in Win 7. Power + Vol+ does nothing. Holding Vol- and connecting USB to PC does nothing. I wanted to flash stock ROM via Flash Tool but I can't boot phone in Flash Mode. I am holding back key at phone and plugging USB cable but It does nothing except "trying" to install drivers that cannot be finished because phone is shutting down too fast.

Okay, got enough time to flash custom kernel via fastboot. Flashing went successful and kernel works. But something is still wrong.
If there is enough battery, kernel should boot up to show battery charging screen.
My screen shows SONY logo with blue "Custom" text, then XPERIA logo and then it boots system that can't be booted without enough battery.
Why didn't kernel start battery charging screen after charging enough to boot kernel?
