Best Time Management Application? - Streak 5 Themes and Apps

I remember when using windows mobile I loved Chronos by Active Kitten (http://activekitten.com/en/games/detail.php_ID=351.html), it had everything from quarterly to hourly charms/alarms, stopwatch, timer, normal alarm clock.
I'm looking for something with all those features for android. Any suggestions?

So in your honest opinion what is the BEST Weather program out there for our phones?

*inquiring minds would like to know*
yes I searched, did not see a thread like this.
Weather Panel. Chad
i'm loving PointUI right now, it has a nice builtin weather applet. When im in Garmin Mobile XT, it has a nice forecast for wherever i am or choose.
SBSH PocketWeather is my favorite... tried WeatherPanel and SPB too, but PocketWeather seemed the most robust and trouble free. Just my opinion.
spb weather but always looking for a better or less bloated one.

Thirded......
PocketWeather 2.
I like SPB weather but the most accurate I find is the Environment Canada RSS feed that I get tru SPB insite. Normally if i see something like a heavy snow in weather i'll tap the RSS feed to get the latest warning and exact amounts.
I love SPB weather. It's simple, clean, and very customizeable.
spb weather for me. i tried pocket weather 2 but there was an overwhelming amount of information.

I agree, but have not found a configuration file to collect Environment Canada forecasts into SPB Weather.. No time to write one for myself.
I've resorted to the Weather Network for weather data.
Weatherpanel
Weatherpanel is by far the beast, extrmecustomizable and fun!
Mobo
weather watcher! ok, it doesnt have a today plugin.
but it shows even single hours.
and it show 10 days!
and its free!
I like SPB Weather but I wish there was a free program that had current weather (ie. Current temp/Feels like/etc)
Weatherbug IMHO. It's only really meant to work on the smartphone platform, but it runs perfectly on my Mogul.
not really a program but i use http://xhtml.weather.com/xhtml/hbhf/77054 as my home page on Opera(replace "77054" with your own zip code). Very quick webpage, almost instant. I used to use HTC home but recently learned about its bloat and have been trying to use more of WM6s built in functions and not rely on third party apps so much. Phone seems alot more stable and quicker from when i used HTC home, PointUI, or anything like that.
I went with SBSH Pocket Weather v2.0.5 .....love the look, love how you can customize it, love that it has soo much useful info but wish when it states & shows its going to snow it would state how much in inches so I have a heads up...
Chicago winter weather can be brutal...
SBSH PocketWeather for me....used all the other ones, and PocketWeather is the one that gets my vote.

Search here and at PPCGeeks for XCast. I think it can be downloaded from TreoCentral.
It adds a line to your today screen and can be set to display current temp, feels like, chance of rain, and estimated time for rain through the next day. All this on one line.
This is my favorite weather program.

[Q] Need suggestion for weather + clock + alarm widget for Arc

Hi guys,
I'm trying to get a perfect weather + clock/alarm widget for me. I've been using Fancy Widget for a while, it works fine for me (I can see weather info, I can see time, I can see when the next alarm rings), except there's no direct access to Alarm for it brings me to clock setting instead (and I need another tap to go to alarm).
I've looked at Beautiful Widget, but a bit hesitant to buy it due to some battery drain comments. Does Beautiful Widget drains battery significantly on Arcs? Can it access alarm directly from the widget?
Thank you In Advance.
Give GO Weather a go (pun very much intended) ... Been using it & it's quietly elegant.

Hmm... I still can't go to alarm directly from the widget. Or will it always be like that until I install 3rd party alarm app?
I'm using beautiful widgets and having no issue at all with battery life. Very happy with it.

Can it access stock alarm directly like the stock clock widget when you tap it ?
If it's not possible, I probably would just stick with the fancy widget.
Your could do that in the past, (asigning whatever app you like to different areas of the beautifull widget)
i have not used it for 6 months thou.

Does use automatic Geolocation?
I'm currently running beautiful widget and i'm quite happy with it...
Best weather widget IMO is snowstorm. Small, elegant, customisable, skinnable. Updates based on location. Accurate forecasts.
Decent digital clocks are a problem, though - most of them are pretty ugly looking to me. Quite like the small sony one that's built-in, if only it opened the clock/alarm apps when you clicked it...
+1 for snowstorm
For the clock use "glass widgets" which will allow you to choose which app to launch once you have clicked it

[Q] News and weather widget problems

I love the stock news and weather widget from AOSP(genie widget), but it sometimes doesn't work right. I have it set to refresh every hour, but it rarely does. When I manually refresh it the location is almost always off, on the second refresh the location does update. Anyone else see these problems? I'm using CM7 nightlies on an Incredible. It may be an incredible thing, I'm not sure because it seemed to work better on my Eris.
I know everyone will recommend their favorite weather widget, but honestly I've tried a lot(including wasting money on beautiful widgets) and never found one I liked. If there is one that can give me news, automatic location updates, a temp graph(the hardest part), transparent widget and doesn't kill the battery I would love it.
thanks,
I have an Inspire 4G and I'm having the same issue. I also like this widget a lot, but unless I have it set to 1 hour refresh, the weather doesn't update. I have tried Minimalistic Text and it's great, but it does not have the temperature graphs like you're looking for.
Thanks for the response, at least I'm not alone.

Looking for a to-do widget

Hi everyone,
I am looking for a to-do checklist app (or as the title says, just a widget would be fine). Thing is, I don't need something as complicated as all those apps out there that sync your tasks with google, etc... I just need a nice widget, thats all (though I wouldn't mind having an app that will do those things).
I used to have GO launcher so I used their widget, but I'm currently using ICS (Samsung galaxy S) and using Apex launcher.
Basically I'm looking for a widget that will look nice and beautiful, just like the one developed by GO team. I've tried numerous apps, but their widget are not so great, they invest more in the app itself (understandable, of course...).
If that widget will be showing a line to show that a task has been completed, like in the GO widget, that would be great. Silly demand, I know, but still
Thank you for your help!
Anyone?

Agenda like apps

The Planner Pro app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appxy.planner looks like a good substitute but the layout rendering seems buggy on the landscape layout of the Gemini.
I've yet to try it but for a long time on Android devices I have used Tiny Calendar
I've not had an major problems with it and my father gets on with it as well on his android mobile so I shall try it when I get mine. Hopefully it will work well enough

Nice layout for calendar views. But Psion Agenda also allowed incorporation of To Do items.
For ToDo things I tend to use Google Keep now. With the benefit of it synchronising across all my devices with that account connected.
Thanks for the recommendation of Tiny Calendar. This is the best app I've seen for replicating the two-week custom view I use for Google Calendar on the web, and the widgets aren't bad either. It took me a while to find the customisation options (you have to force rotate to portrait using the Gemini App Bar) but now it's set up to my liking it's great.
I stopped using to-do lists years ago when I switched from EPOC to iOS and couldn't find a way to integrate them into calendar apps in the way Psion Agenda did. I generally use all-day calendar entries instead, so Tiny Calendar fits my use pattern perfectly. Anyone with similar needs might like to check out Calendar Widget which among other options gives a very nice semi-transparent agenda list on the home screen that makes very efficient use of screen real estate.
I have high hopes for the official Gemini Agenda clone when it finally sees the light of day. One of the joys of Psion Agenda, aside from its fantastic integration of calendar and to-do functionality, was that absolutely everything could be done without using the touchscreen. Android on the Gemini makes touch functions much more responsive than the old resistive hardware and stylus, but I'd sooner have the keyboard shortcuts back.
If Gemini Agenda can replicate that behaviour I'll be overjoyed. Those early screenshots certainly looked promising.
I can also recommend Jorte. It has a great Daily and Weekly layout including To Dos. Works well in the landscape layout.
This is probably the best Agenda substitute. It's the aCalender+ and even has an annual calendar view:
