SD card included with Razr? - Motorola Droid RAZR

does the 16 GB Droid Razr come with an SD Card already installed or would i need to buy one?
going to exchange my droid incredible 2 for it tomorrow and i wanted to know does it come with a SD card or not.

16gb sdcard comes inside the box of DROID RAZR XT912. GSM variant RAZR XT910 doesn't come with an sdcard.

I have the XT912, have bought 3 of them and none of them came with an external sd card. Its all internal, you would have to purchase the SD card separate.

All fourvof my razrs came with an SD card. Either already in the phone or some where in the packaging.

When I purchased my razr in December its came with 16gb internal and a 16gb external card.
I have since updated the external microsd card and im loving it. 32gb class 10.

Improving SD Card speed

My Razr SD card transfer speed tops out at 2 MB/s whereas my previous phone (Xperia X8) used to get me speeds near 10 to 12 MB/s.
Is there any way I can improve my SD Card speeds?
I have a 16GB class 4 SD card.
Download SD read ahead or ROM toolbox. By default the Razr is at 1024, compared to 256 which the bionic had.

I swap between my reZound and RAZR all the time. The micro sim actually stays in place really well with no adapter.
Not sure the mytouch will work though.

[Q] What kind of phone is this now? XT910? XT912?

Hey guys,
a friend of mine who recently moved to China bought a Droid Razr a week ago and wanted me to walk him through installing CM10 on it and well... here's the weird thing:
According to the system menu it's an XT912, but it has a (micro)sim slot. It looks like an XT912 but only has 8GB flash.
It also had Superuser preinstalled.
Surprisingly it still seems to be a legit Motorola device, since apparently you have to make a Motorola account to download updates and stuff.
I'm honestly confused. Anybody know what to do with it?
Sounds like a KIRF.
Pics would probably help clear this whole thing up though.
I asked him for pics. These aren't perfect, but yeah.

I've been suspecting a fake too. Mostly because super user was preinstalled.
The system version is 65.1.40.XT912.AsiaRetail.en.03 which also seems weird, considering it has the Verizon logo.
I don't know, that looks exactly like mine. I have the Verizon RAZR Maxx, model number XT912. The XT912 has a SIM card slot right next to the SD card slot. It needs a SIM to use the Verizon 4G LTE service.

A2sd on evo 4g lte?

Does a2sd work on this phone? Is there any need? I'm upgrading to a htc evo 4g lte on Saturday from og evo, just wondering if apps 2 sd is working or needed

I think that there is no I need, but others mighty say otherwise. Since you are coming from the OG Evo, I know that you have a microSD.
On the LTE, it has the internal memory (just like the OG), and it has the internal storage, which is the equivalent of the SD card on the OG. And THEN you have the external SD. Apps aren't saved to the ext SD card, and you have plenty internal storage for the apps. The data from the apps are automatically saved to the internal SD (like 1gb+ for real racing 3).

SD card issues

I've recently started having issues with my SD card, for some reason it keeps mounting itself as read only. If I unmount and then mount again, it works for a while and then stops again.
The card is a sandisk 64gb card and has around 33gb left.
Google hasn't thrown up much other than SD card issues on KitKat (I'm now running JB4.3 and not KitKat)
Any help appreciated
