So i just got my new razr came over from p999 and t mobile just wanted to know what to do first there seems to be alot of different ways to root or install roms what is the best way to root and install cwm? The phone came with 2.3.6 it auto updated to 4.04 i am on the xt912 so just wanted to get some feedback on what to do first any help will be greatly appreciated thank you

I know that this is a long shot but has anyone been successful rooting the new firmware update for droid 2 version 4.5.621? Had root before update and thought I would have no problems gaining root back after update, how wrong I was! Any help,news would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Droid Razr, the original, flashed to cricket with Gingerbread 2.3.6 . I am trying to find a safe way to update the kernal and get ics while still flashed to cricket. I have not had success finding a tutorial by using google. But maybe someone else could try. Or help me in some way. Please and thank you

I need help rooting my phone I'm using the RAZR blade zip and when I get to the root process this is the message I get am I rooted it says failed so I don't think I am how do I fix this problem... I am running 4.1.2 completely stock I am flashed to cricket don't know if that matters or not I have posted a pic I snapped when it said exploit finished please help thanks...

Did you get this fixed? If not it's because there is a conflict with something, did you upgrade to the OTA?
Try again but turn off "Mass Storage" mode. Should work.
