Ive been trying every guide i found for rooting my LG optimus L5, none of them worked, i tried Z4Root, SuperOneClick and nothing happens when i use them.So does anyone know a proven way to root or a good custom rom, it would be much apreciated.

I've tried every way. OneClick didn't work for me... I'm relatively new with all this, is there a simple way i could Root y Optimus 2X? All I'm Trying to do is Get Cyanogen Mod 9 on it (IceCreamSandwhich?) . My Phone is on Wind if that matters... thanks for the help!
I have been trying to find a way to root my LG Spectrum (A.K.A. - LG VS920) for about a week now, I've only found a few that would possibly worked, though. I downloaded them, and tried to root my phone with them, to no avail. I can't seem to find anything that works for my phone!!

Iam quite new in rooting.
I have Lg L9 p769 with jellybean 4.1.2 installed(version P76920f)
Now whats the standard procedure to root my phone,
I have seen various posts relating unlocking bootlooder , kdz etc.
I want to install a custom rom.
Plz anyone help....

Custom rom=you need unlocked bootloader.
Go to the general section and follow one of the unlock methods. Best of luck. You'll need it.

This is the rooting method that simple to use. Jcase method but I'm too lazy to find the thread.
Download, install, hit root me, restore, internal storage, lgpwn, check all apps then install. These are from memory so don't take my word for it. Good luck!

I tried many different ways to gain root on my device (towelroot, framaroot, other APK, software which should have done it,...) but none of them works. Can anyone of you gove me an instruction on how to do it?
