I mean this. If i change statusbar on normal phone for tablet statusbar. Will that work? My rom is ICS.

the frame work of both devices are different so you can't put it directly you have to make some modification in it so it can be compatible for your device

It's not a good idea to ask someone to make things for you. There is no point for that. If you want somethings make it your self. If you can't, ask someone to do and pay for their work!

If someone make it not for him only for all xda pro users no need to be behaving like you behaving because all users do requests on xda :thumbdown:

Yeah! All user do request in xda. I do sometime but in a thread that post about somethings and the developer allow us to request. Maybe i'm wrong. Sorry about that.
BTW even if I succeed in making the Sgs 3 ROM it won't have working s voice
But I will lnclude Google now insteD

If the ROM is CM7 (2.3.x) based, then you can install the CM7 settings surely. But if it's based on 4.0.x or 4.1.x then I don't think that you can. Try it out but make sure that you can restore. I think it won't hard brick your device. Hope I helped you...

You simply can't install it.
You have to edit the Settings.apk in system/app folder using apktool. Make the necessary changes.
Its hard but can be done.

He asked if it can be ported to stock rom, not CM9. Next time read before you comment.
To the topic I don't think it's possible to to port it to the stock ROM.

after a long time thinking about this mod, i decided to make this thread.
First of all, i have two methods:
by third apps(framework intent my app)
directly from the framework
here's my problems:
IF i used the first method, i can put the images to the buttons, BUT, i have a problem with 'intent' inside the GlobalActions smali.
IF i used the second method, i can't put the images.
for me, i like to use the second method, but can anyone help me to put some NEW drawable into the framework-res, and call it from framework.jar.

i dont own any GB devices anymore as u can see i have the Acer S500/CloudMobile . only
i purely let someone with acei test it for me
and it worked right away so i was pretty much amazed xD
