Hello,
I am looking on how to go back to complete stock 2.3.5? Also I have another question? To my understanding the bootloader is locked with 2.3.5 and there is no way to unlock it at the moment? Thanks in advance!

I am running 2.3.5 rooted. I think this would be stock http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1837775 but not 100% sure? Also if I get stuck in a bootloop can I use rsd lite or whatever it's called to go to complete stock as well?

Yes that seems to be the stock system image, just make sure you have the corresponding version of ROM, check those numbers at your phone info, it should be SUN-254_13. And yes, if you won't be able to boot you can make full restore using RSD Light - check this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1798145
Yesterday after flashing some 2.3.5 with bootstrap recovery my phone stoped booting, and after following those instructions it's working again:good:
p.s. how does one say "thank you" for useful post?

You must be plugged in with wall charger for it to work, maybe that's the issue?

Hi can any Dev make a cwm flashable stock rom zip? Back to 1.8.3 . So we do not have to keep using rsd when we don't like or would like to change the rom. This might already be a work in progress I'm not sure. I for one would like to have one. Thank you devs for all of your hard work into getting this ATRIX phone unlocked and rooted

Can't you use CWM to do a nandroid backup/restore of 1.8.3? I thought you could but haven't tried it, so if anyone can confirm that would be nice.

Never even thought about doing that , sometimes the best answer is the simplest things. And yes if someone could please comfirm that this works , this would be much appreciated.
It does be sure to wipe everything before restoring 1.8.3 or it will boot loop. Wrong forum BTW.

Hi,
I'm updating the thread, that means waiting for an upload to finish. It adds in everything to get back to stock in one CWM zip, radio and bootloader. The unlocked and fixed zip should be done immediately after in the same CWM recovery session to keep the unlocked bootloader, ram fixed CWM recovery, and ram fixed 2.2.2 boot image. Otherwise you have to reflash IHOP to get the unlocked bootloader back and reflash CWM recovery.
Now, you have to ask yourself if you want to be stock when the final Bell update isn't even out yet.
EDIT: Thread updated
Cheers!
So when the final Bell update, i.e. the official Gingerbread update for the Bell Atrix is released, we won't need all these fixes and such since it will be a stable version? Also, would I be able to update ota without the aformentioned core apps I uninstalled or would it be more wise to stick to custom roms? Thanks.

No script. Just a CWM. You need to be unlocked first. Use ihop and tenfars unlocked CWM recovery.
I now have a Bell GB CWM up as well.

Hi,
I have no idea how good the official Bell gb will be, the Leak is good. OTA may or may not patch those files, most likely it would.
If you mean AT&T firmware when you say custom roms that's up to you. It's nice to have the option not to use that., for that reason, all the patches. I haven't patched anything with the bell gb leak, works fine. By default it includes several features AT&T folks have to hack in. Not perfect but it's less work.
Cheers!

Hi,
It is volume down when you turn the phone on, says fastboot, click vol down until it says android recovery, then vol up. You have to be unlocked of course, and CWM installed.
If you are doing both at the same time, just 222 gobstopper and then 234 gobstopper which includes the ram fixes. Sometime when I get a chance I'll add in a few partitions to 234 to avoid the 222 step, slow upload connection here. (1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 are the partitions left out of 234) And I am not sure if it's needed going from Froyo to Froyo.
Cheers!
Thank you....I see in your Gobstopper GB2.3.4 link that you are updating////
(Not a problem, Testing now, Will upload immediately after. So another 3.5 hours or so it will be done. lol
I included the multitouch hack and the rest of the partitions, so once it's done you won't have to go back to 2.2.2 for any reason to install it.) should I wait for this 2.3.4 to install, but I will still need to get back to stock2.2.2 first right??? or will I just have to use your updated GB2.3.4??????? thanks again dill......will be donating to u for sure......Oh and I read somewhere about deleting (install-recovery.sh) in system-etc if its there....and it is???

So if I'm reading this right this is a deodexed stock Rom of the new update without the new locked down bootloader. Your post says must be unlocked but is there any reason that this can't be flashed with bootstrap without unlocking?
What changes are we seeing with this (2.3.5 doesn't count)? Any fixes for things like wifi or lapdock500 support?
I gave this a try but I didn't have any service. No 3G and I couldn't make any calls or text so I just restored my backup. Not sure if I need to do something else though.

Looks like you need to change libmoto_ril.so from 198_7 or flash new radio. But BEWARE flashing new radio switches the fuse!!!
That means, you won't be able to run locked 198_7 and you must stay unlocked.

He is stuck for good, he softbricked. He needs to brute force GB back on then install the latest ics leak to fix the softbrick.
Unless he doesn't have a CDMA Verizon Phone.

Hello everyone.
I searched but couldn't find the stock Rogers ICS release. My phone is rooted and running on GB with all the bloatware removed using TB. I downloaded the software update like before but the phone rebooted after and instead of being on ICS, simply stated that the update had failed and to try another method. I'm thinking it might be because of CWM since when it rebooted, the phone went into CWM and not straight into the OS.
Does anyone have the software update as a download so that I can push it to my phone? I don't want to deal with any custom roms since none of them have worked 100% for me and especially due to tethering workaround, which I found troublesome as I tether a lot.
Thank you.
