Hi,
I bought new Huawei U8510-1 Ideos X3(Unlocked from ebay:crying two days back.
In specification it was showing about
Memory:
256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM
but when I installed antutu benchmark its showing as
Memory:
176 MB RAM, 160 MB ROM

hello guys , how much real ram have the mini pro ??? in the specifications says : 256 mb of ram , but in the quadrant information of system says : 175 mb of ram 76 inactive , and with gingerbread in settings /system information says total of 175 mb of ram :/
the mini pro have a total 256 of ram or 175 ??? :S

This happens in all the Android phones: Some of the ram doesn't display because it's used by Android system and can't be allocated to anything else. It's truly 256, but you can use 175.

Also formatted capacities will help so 256 might really be 225 thats not exact but it will probably apply

Hello,
I have a new tablet that supposedly should have 512 MB RAM.
Tablet: 7 Inch Superpad i7 Android 2.2 Tablet PC - FlyTouch 3,
# CPU: Infotmic iMAPx210 1GHz
# RAM: 512M DDR2
But:
cat /proc/meminfo -> MemTotal: 188188 kB == 183 MB
Quick System Information (market app.) -> Memory Total: 184 MB
(after tablet reboot, no non-standard services runn.)
assuming that kernel/android reserve 50-60MB that gave me total of 256 MB RAM.
Also from the info, here and on the web, I can see that for people with 512MB RAM total mem. is like 380/450, either way > 256 MB.
So the question is:
is my thinking is correct, and can I suspect that this tablet has 256 MB RAM?
Also CPU is detected as iMAPx200 not iMAPx210. Is it normal?

I have installed mysenseRC3.5 ROM on desire x. But it is only showing 606 mb of RAM.AFAIK desire x has 768 mb of ram. Where is my 160 mb gone???

Yesh i got this tac70111 device cheap, and ofc its slow but this same packet worked for me, only problem i had in installation was that the script didnt find the device, so couple times replugging, checked thru control panel device works correct, the stuff installed properly and rootcheck was succesful. This will install SuperSU in device. Great, thanks :good:
