Uninstall and reinstall usb driver. It's your driver's problem.

I will extend speedjay's answer a little...
Put a working rom (maybe some stock or something and it should be cwm installable) in your sd-card from your pc by using card reader.
Then as he said, hold volume down, home and power together to reboot into recovery mode and select install zip from sd-card->external sdcard-> and chose your rom.
It will do the job

[Q] Lag and freezing on wanamlite rom

Hi guys.
I'm new to the forum but not to android.
I'm currently running WanamLite V3.8 (4.1.1)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1705866
It was working great for a few days, but just yesterday it started lagging and freezing. I had no apps open and i was trying t play dead trigger, it was just unplayable.
I tried rebooting, but even the homescreen is lagging.
Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

What have I done?

Ok,
Having a few issues and I have no idea how to fix them. I rooted my s2 using odin and siyah v6.05 and I have installed a ROM. I have followed all the instructions, wiped the cache etc and when I re boot I can't get past the start up screen. I had installed the ROM and it booted up fine but the home button, menu and back button didn't work so after some reading I believe this to have been a kernal issue? So I flashed a kernal that would fix it and it's now just stuck. I have re-flashed the previous kernal and it's the same.
Apologies if it's unclear as I'm rubbish at explaining stuff. I have rooted and flashed my HTC sensation and turned s-off sucesfully and it seemed a lot easier than this and I am led to believe this is an easier phone to root etc.
Any help is much appreciated. I'm fairly new to all this but have experience with linux and ms systems so if you can explain stuff I will pick it up easy.
Many thanks
Andrew

[Q] Phone completely unresponsive

The phone is off, but holding down buttons gets no response: no vibration, no boot screen, no flashing buttons... This is my brother's phone and I know that he had previously been running CyanogenMod without any issues, but I'm afraid he might have hard bricked the phone. I've recovered from plenty of soft bricks, but I'm unsure of how to proceed with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Try pulling the battery and plug in the USB into the phone and a computer while holding the volume down button and see if it will go in download mode.

Verizon rolls these out in batches.
You can try manually checking for the update - Settings, More, About phone, Software update.
I've been checking every half hour. I odin back to ml1. Did kies emergency install. Did verizon updateer thing. After 4 days you would think it would be here. I did notice in file manager there is sdcard/emulated/0. What is this.

That's a normal folder path in JB. There is the manual update in the other threads if you're dying to apply the update.
Why don't you download this update.zip to your external sdcard and boot to stock recovery and apply it.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2502591

If your updating from
