Hello Guys I need help to know what my Old Stock ROM is.. Is there a way to know it? My phone is Samsung Galaxy Y.

I know my Previous Android Version is 2.3.5 but I dont know baseband and kernel.. please help me.

My mate sent me a photo through mms. But every time I go to download it, the phone freezes and I have to hold the power button until the phone shuts down. Any way to fix this?

You can try to download rom again, extract mms apk, delete yours, and replace with that extracted. If will not help, you need to flash rom again, anyway is not wipe, coz you allready running Littening.

From where??? Extract Litening rom zip file, look in system/app, extract it and replaced in you phone
It wasn't in zip format, its in .img. I managed to extract the apk from that now, but after reinstalling, the phone still crashes when trying to download the mms. I don't know, I give up!

as ur build is JPLPF in which The LPF is what is important and u have to choose a CF root matching this(LPF).
it is CF-Root-SGS2_XW_OXI_LPF-v5.5-CWM5.zip
which u can find in the link below, under the heading 'ICS - CF-Root v5.5/6'

hi guys, I recently buy a galaxy s2 korean version , It is already rooted and has a custom room. But the thing is I want to change the installed kernel and the custom roms. How should i Start????? Can anyone help me or give me a tutorial how to do things here??

you can go to sammobile.com if every you wanna flash a stock firmware.. but you have to make a free account there so you can download

What ROM do you want to flash? Post the link to the custom ROM.
PS: Dont ask for ROM or kernel recommendation. It's against the forum rules!

I jailbraked my iPhone and it gave me very advantages over the device.
That is why I also decided to Root My Galaxy S2.
