Hi,
Today I’ve tried to connect my PS3 Controller to my rooted XperiaS by using the Instructions.
I changed the MAC Adress from the Controller to the Adress from my Phone with the PC-Tool.
The App shown me “listening for controllers…” then I startet the Controller with the Power-Button.
But nothing happened.
The 4 leds from the controller are flashing, a long time and then the Controller turned off.
Then the app shown the command: “Client 1 disconnected”
I tried to reinstall the app, rebooted my phone, but nothing helps.
Can anyone help me?
Is it possible that the Modell-Nr. the problem is?
The last letter from my controller is an H for Hongkong
I purchased it from amazon (germany)
In europe is the last letter an E
Please help me
Maybe a silly question...
But you are rooted right?
And have you tried the compatibility tool as well?

Hi folks,
Seen youtube vids of people playing games with the ps3 pad. Now ive read up and it says u need aosp drivers unless ur on miui rom.
Does anybody have miui rom installed and using the sixaxis?
I use miui rom so wanted to know if its as simple as using the sixaxis app frim market and then pairing, or do i have to manually pair using the pc app too, even though im using miui?
Also which emulator apps are recommended with the sixaxis controller?

Such a hard thing to find out yourself, allow me to help.
Sixaxis Controller - Android Market
Due to the way pairing is done with the controllers, you need to manually pair your controller with the PC utility 'SixaxisPairTool' (available on the website) and a mini-USB cable.
If you're unsure if it will work on your MIUI ROM, use the Sixaxis Compatibility Checker.
Yeah i read that bit on the market page too, thanks.
Want to find out if anybody has done it and what happens after you disconnect from phone as
Nobody mentions anything about using the pad with the ps3 again after pairing with the phone either. Would the mac address for the controller need to changed again to work with ps3?

To use it with the PS3, you'd need to connect it to the PS3 using the cable to let it pair. Afterwards if you wanted to use it with your phone again, you'd have to use the utility on a computer. The controller is only paired with one bluetooth MAC address at a time.
Perfect. Cheers mate. Cant hit thanks button from the phone app otherwise i would have. Cheers

Is it possible ? I'd want to play some emu games with a controller, and i wonder if i could buy a ps3 one and connect it through bluetooth. I saw there is an app called sixaxis controller or something, and there is also an sixaxis controller check (chek phone support) and my sgs2 didnt go through the check apparently (incorrect BT address o think, lots of zeros at the end).
And if a ps3 one is impossible, tho i hope it is, which other cheap controller i could buy ?

The Sixasis app works fine.
And did it work for you ? Anyone ?

Yes, otherwise I wouldn't have said it did.

Why do you assume that the bluetooth address given to you by the app was incorrect? If the compatibility checker popped up a message stating that your device is supported, then it is.
I've used the Sixaxis pair tool and changed the bluetooth address of my controller, but any attempt to pair results in "no controller found - please connect it via usb cable"
Anyone have any luck and want to share their secret to success?
Worked just fine for me. Just downloaded Sixaxis to test and I didn't even need to repair my controller to the device's bluetooth.

Same thing happened to me. I unplugged the controller from the computer, hit the center button and it paired and worked great.

Hello everyone,
Is there a way to disable the build in sixaxis application on the sony tablet s? I want to use Sixaxis controller app in order to play modern combat 3 and 4. I already have it install but the original sixaxis feature onthe tablet s is interfering with it.

Try uninstalling the wirelessmanagerservice.apk I think the sixaxis app was made from a cracked version of our tablets controller service so it may work may not

Hi,
It is not a problem to play a game like MC4 with sixaxis controller, you just have to ignore the build factory sixaxis app on the tablet, and listen to the instructions in the sixaxis controller app : You have to use USB to connect the first time your sixaxis, and then it is done with bluetooth.
For me, it works perfectly. When I'm using sixaxis app, the build in sixaxis app of the tablet does not appear.
And, of course, your tablet must be rooted.
That's it, tell me if you still have problems with that.
I have the Viper ROM installed and was wondering if it's possible to use the PS3 controller wirelessly on it?
I'm curious as well. Or if anyone has gotten a ps3 controller to work on any ROM for that matter.

I tried the Six Axis Compatibility tool and it seems it's not working. Is this a problem with the bluetooth version on the phone or a problem with the ViperROM? I see another program called Bluez IME that will let you use other bluetooth controllers. Will those work or will they have problems too?
It has to do with the Bluetooth stack HTC is using. I don't think anyone bas gotten it to worj yet.

Just tried the WiiMote controller app. It recognized the Wiimote, but then it says something like it couldn't access the host files. :'(
