What kernel do you recommend for CM7.2? The standard one does not have SmartassV2 and has some kind of battery drain.

Surely if you're playing games and want maximum performance, you'd just put the phone's governor into performance mode.
What's the reason you suggest Smartassv2? I've never seen a good reason to use it, other than everyone saying so (which they just repeat because they saw it repeated etc etc)

If I'm not playing any Tegra games, do I still need to install Chainfire 3D?
And what are the setteings for Ram Manager and what apps should not be quarantined when playing games?

Not all processors manufactured are the same, they are all different, so have different OC peaks.

Is there any tool capable of monitoring and showing GPU clock on screen like what "Cool Tool" does for CPU ? I would like to see how my phone's GPU scales up and down while playing games so I can optimize the thresholds. any tips is appreciated.

Yeah but those are things you can do in gb also
Underclock, undervolt, change governor to powersave, decrease the screen brightness, disable data and wifi.

I set the phone to use 2G networks only.
Unfortunately I do not know how many uA (micro Ampere) this saves (if any).
maybe your battery is dead, buy new one... i have phone 6 month and dont have any problem with battery...changed a lot roms and kernels, not big difference.

Flash Unlimited Boost
It lets you turn off the cores; which I found useful in games like chaos rings 3(makes the phone damned hot). I had two of the lower powered cores running with no lag. I don't understand why these games even use all the cpu power; probably just inefficient I guess. I bought the donate app as I want to support the dev for the hard work. Really recommend this to root users.
anyone tried to tweak governor settings? should be possible to get out more performance with the right settings.
Know of any good options for extending battery life? So far i've disabled the big cores.
Tried using "trickster mod" but so far it was installed on my phone the cores kept working on 1300 :S when uninstalled it went back to 324 (smth like that). weird, ill try what you have recommended!

Be sure to apply on boot
Unfortunately this comunity it´s dead because we can do great things with this app... But we need a new kernel... Unfortunately this it´s not going to happen...
You'll never know
Did you disable the two "big" cores, or 2 of the LITTLE ones?

I have been using the following settings with apply on boot.
I have noticed a decrease in heat and the battery seems to last much longer when doing simple tasks such as web browsing.
Hopefully this helps you! [emoji1]

My phone isnt that fast, so I though 'The nice pepole @ XDA will help me!'. My battery is ~2-1.5 days long, so I think that if there's a way to sacrifice battery for performance without killing my phone would be gr8.
It needs to be *safe* in the sense that it isnt going to brick my phone first try.
OH, and please be free lol
kthx

The settings for hebf is zipped, just unzip to the root of your internal storage.

Sure, but Greenify is a bigger app and has IAPs. ForceDoze is free and takes less space, which is good for the Moto E as it has only 8GB of internal storage.
