I bought the kit that has the usb and sdcard adapters in it. I do not know if they are from the first tabs' line of accessories or not but they work with my Tab 2 10.1. I have not purchased the HDMI out adapter yet, so i cannot comment on it.
Yes confirmed working the sd/usb otg adapter in tab2 5100 (formatted fat) ,but i read reports that hdmi (mhl) not working even with stock firmware and original mhl adapter

Hi I've two USB Internetsticks (Huawei & ZTE) und two different USB OTG Connectors for the tab. They will be seen for short time, than always disconnected.
I think it is a power consume problem. Because one of my OTG has a buildin hub with possibility external Power, and with this and external power the ZTE Stick is working.

Yes, if you exceed the power available (which is very low without external power) the USB interface will shut down.

Hello everybody.
I wonder if there is the possibility of using the HDMI output along with the USB on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 at the same time.
I did that in Xoom because it had a dedicated HDMI output and a USB, so it was easily able to connect a HD and while switching on the TV and be able to choose a movie at the time.
There is the possibility of doing the same thing in GT?
I am using the Cyangem 9.
Not on the 7510 without a splitter for the built in port. Not sure if that's even possible. You can always copy the movie to internal memory and play it or connect via wifi to a storage source. That's what I do.

Well using the samsung dock and connecting usb for power, not in charger but in usb port (possible need force usb charging enable, it ll work.
I don't think that Samsung dock has a separate usb port.

No it doesnt have usb port, only samsung style 30 pin port but you can use usb cable in pc port for charging it in order to feed hdmi signal with necessary power and also mount it for data transfer.
I have it and i can check it tomorrow if it works that way (if i remember correct it does).
Fingertyped on Samsung galaxy tab 10.1" 32GB WiFi
Tested it and work like a charm.
Gtab mounted on samsung dock.
Dock connected via HDMI to TV and via 30pin connector to PC USB.
Cheers.
Hello Guys
I'm thinking about buying a Ethernet Adapter. Is there only the Samsung USB Hub working or are there other brands compatible with the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 LTE? Could you recommend me something? Is there any speed difference between a usb 2.0 and 3 0?
Is it possible to charge the tablet if it is connected to a Ethernet USB Hub?
Thanks everybody

I watch TV through a website. At the same time, charge the device through the Ethernet USB Hub. My experience is that the device lose power faster than charging. I am not sure but maybe it is faster to charge by directly plugging the cable to the Note PRO than through the Ethernet USB Hub.
i bought the hub with 2 usb 1 ethernet and the charge port, it works well

Thanks for your suggestion... I will try getting one.
connect a HDD and charge the tablet at the same
Does anyone have a cable to connect a HDD to the Galaxy Tab2 and charge the tablet at the same time?
I have a USB C adapter connected to a Samsung OTG cable, but the tab S3 is not picking it up. The OTG cable works well on my Note 5. Is there a solution to it? Thanks
What are you trying to connect to your Tab S3? A hard drive?
I just tried a USB C flash drive on my Tab S3 and it works properly. OTG capability should be there.

I am using the Xiaomi USB Type-C to Micro USB adapter with a Samsung OTG cable. I use that Samsung OTG cable on my Note 5 to connect a thumb drive or a card reader and it works fine. Does that mean it is the USB Type-C to Micro USB adapter itself that must be OTG for it to work?
The Xiaomi USB Type C to Micro could be the culprit. Maybe it is used for charging only?
Yes, you are correct, it is for charging and connection to a PC and having an OTG cable on top does not seem to work. I have ordered a proper USB C OTG adapter online, it should arrive next week and I hope it works. Thanks for your response. Cheers.
I want to install my Samsung Tab 2 (P3100) as a head unit in my car.
I saw many DIY toturials with a micro USB OTG cable, but none with a OTG cable for my tablet model.
Does anyone help me find a way or a OTG cable for TAB 2 that simultaneously charge the tablet.
I also want to plug a USB Hub.
Thanks

You could try the following device. I have never tried one but would be interested in whether it works or not (and the cost):
