Running cm9 and would like to get back bell mobile TV compatibility. Has anyone managed to make a .tar or a CWM package of the new Bell ICS modem? If someone could post it, good karma will come your way :0

I too would be looking for the above option. Im a heavy mobiletv user and would like to flash a custom rom, but due to bell's mobiletv app not working on any custom roms, this would be awesome-R!
Thanks!

You will also have to modify your build.prop file to ad an M to your device ID as well, at least this is how I did it with CM9 and a Bell modem on my SGSII

I 've upgraded my Bell note to flapjaxx ICS and intend to try this out for a day or two. I have a nandroid backup of my stock Bell ICS and would be happy to reflash it and extract the modem .tar if someone can talk me through the process. Maybe we can get Flapjaxx to host it on his modem thread.
I have no interest in Bell's mobility app but I would love to compare the Bell modem against UCLF6 on flap's rom in and around the GTA..
Here is a modem dump tutorial:

I have a vzw gs3 running latest cm10 stable and I just installed the latest lean kernel and I feel it's got worse battery life. My question is did cm10 come with a kernel or not? If it did can someone link me the cm10 kernel or the stock kernel? I was running ics when I rooted so it wasn't stock jellybean. Do I need to install a stock jellybean to work on cm10 or does it not matter?
Thanks!

If you want T-Mobile service on att note you can flash a ROM from i717 (att) and then find a T-Mobile radio/modem for it for T-Mobile service.

You have to flash the right modem or you won't have any service. If you go to padawan job 4.1.2 ROM thread, look on pg 275. They got an art modem there.

I highly recommend flashing CyanogenMod 10 for ATT. Your phone will run superfast, although you will loose all the Samsung Apps.
As far as radio you can leave at stock. Soon as T-Mobile finishes refarming their network you'll be able to get 4G and above on the 1900 band. I just spoke to a T-Mobile tech last night and he told me that they are rapidly refarming all over the country.
Good luck.

Padawan does not support boot animations. You need to be in padawan thread and read thru to know that...

You should try to run the latest padawan job 4.1.2 and flash the T-Mobile modem instead of the ICS ROM. Its just a better ROM in my opinion.
