I remember there was sth. like bootaudio file in /system/media/ i think. MIUI ROM's had it and i think it should also work (for boot only)
Can you upload it?... And is there a way to flash the reverse animation i unlocking the phone?

I can't upload it because I don't have it. I think it was a *.wav file and it was in the same directory as bootanimation. I never used fera, but maybe You've set fast animation in spareparts. Else I don't know how put this tv effect

Here are the bootanimation (i found it in google xD ) and a .wav file for boot audio. Haven't tested the bootanimation.I dunno will it fit,can you chek it out for me mate? Thanks!!! And about that TV effect...can you help me out? Some ideas?

so im fairly new to this and i rooted my vibrant running a froyo rom i have root explorer i am pretty sure i understand how to change the boot animation i wanna use this one but when i downloaded it its not in a .zip file and the boot animation is spose to be isnt it? (the current boot animation for my rom is in a .zip file) or can i jus rename it as boot animation and put it in the right place for it to work??

Yes if its the right file just rename it to bootanimation.zip and put it in the system/media folder

If you're using root explorer you need to click mount r/o. ( i think thats whats wrong)
put this on my phone yesterday its sweet very well done

I tried that, Im on stock app and I even removed the sammy boot qmg's and still no worky. Is this not for stock roms, I dont see any other bootanimation zip files in the media folder???

same thing here, I have over 7GB left on my sd?
So after countless hours of redoing the audio I finally got it to match up! here is the boot animation and the boot audio. I also put the boot animation on a loop so It doesnt look like its frozen! Download and see for yourself!

ok first take and download this file default.xml
Put default.xml in system/customize/CID
Put bootanimation.zip and android_android.zip in data/local
everything should work after that
(no this animation is the one where the android is being built and he ends up zapping the apple)

should be fine. i just use root explorer and changed mine on the phone to this. and it just adds audio and doesnt move anything

yeah instead of editing ur existing one u can just replace it. it saves a few seconds. the One I've included has everything for audio and boot up and down animations

if you installed the default.xml that changes where the down animations go so the old one has to be renamed to downanimation and moved to data/local
Okay, I did that I renamed the file to downanimation.zip and the audio file to android_out.mp3 and put it in data/local but now the downanimation is just the stock powering down screen. The bootanimation and boot audio works just nothing for the downanimation and down audio , what am I missing?

recheck your steps. there shouldnt be a reason its not working. you might of misspelled or grabbed the wrong down animation. there are 2 in the system folder
EDIT: It might make it easier to find the down animation and sound that you want and copy it from the sdcard so you know its definitely the right down animation.

Yes it is. Its an aroma installer. Just read instructions when u flash it. Right now though apparent ly u guys have different mount points for ur boot ani so it might not work until I put out v6

If it freezes pull the battery. If ur phone doesnt have a battery then hold the opwer button for 20 seconds. Aroma freezes sometimes
Then try again

hi i made my own boot animation (no sound) from a clip of superman... i think lol but im not sure how to get it onto my phone... any advice?
ive tried copying it to /system/media/ with a root explorer and with the note2 tool kit but nothing so far.
i figured maybe ask... i did email you earlier but am far too daft to wait lmao

Sorry for the trouble, Actually I think that it was messed up in changing resolution to adjust it for our device I will try to Fix the bootanimation as fast as i can
I cant even test it as I have sent my device for servicing... Stay Tuned..
*Edit*: Tried to Fix it, as already said can test on my device, So please test it for me

it will not work you must set it to 240*320 resolution and change it in desc.txt file but at all it works

i dont think so if there is any program or any way to run video, but you can turn your video frames to png's and than make a bootanimation. I did this in my own Rom. :cyclops:

Do this:
Grab the video (that you want to use as bootanimation) [i used aftereffects to resize it and add another video with it (as overlay)]
Now export your video
Use this link for converting video to bootanimation. (dont remember which i used)
