Sammobile has the firmwares, odin files and flash guides for most samsung galaxy phones.
Also, it woild be better if you browse trough your device's forum. This forum is more on par with general android ramble, not so much with device specific questions.

[Q] Question about brick ?

i have a question for you guys what i have not
do for to get a cell phone brick ?
i have read many threads and the only way for to get it is by using application rom manager thats right or i can get a brick cell phone in odin software.
what if by a mistake set files in a wrong order in odin software
galaxy ace cf gingerreal v1.0 kph
thanks in advance
WHY would you put the wrong files in ODIN, just read the tutorial and follow it correctly?
And to kinda answer the question, what've read is that ODIN will not brick you phone, you might be able to get a bootloop though (just reflash and it should work fine).
Read the newbie guide(sticky thread) about Rom manager, it should be supported now but be cautious, better to use CWM app instead, or just reboot your phone to CWM (dont be lazy).
People brick their phone when unlocking their phone, there should be a proper solution that works without having to brick you phone.

So in the 5 hours between posting your question and bumbing your thread, you didn't manage to find out what a custom ROM is and how to install it?
Try the stickies, for example, [REF] Guide to the Galaxy S II and Android (04/10/11) which links to [REF] ROM, Kernel, Kitchen & Modem List - Galaxy S II (22/10/11).

Help - installed ICS GT i9100 on i777

Please Help. I flashed this Ice cream sandwich file "I9100XXLPB_I9100OXXLP5_OXX" on my galaxy s2 i777 and now i cant go back to stock. I get a frozen boot screen with the gt-i9100 logo. The only time I can get the phone to turn on is when I reflash the i9100 ics with odin. I dont want that because the back and search buttons dont work and internet data is not working. I just want to go back to the icsrewd that I had or foxhound. Please help. Thank you.
P.s. I also tried this, but didnt work "[Heimdall][Odin][Stock][Root]UCKH7/KK6 Return/Unbrick to Stock (or Root)"
Why not flash back to what was working, as you stated you can, and then from there, clear/wipe etc., and flash what you do want?

It wont let me flash anything that has to do with i777, not even the rom i had before.
If you can get into download mode you can flash back to stock. Just do everything you did when you flash the 1900 but use the stock one found in the development board and you should be fine

Tried to return to stock. It finishes download and reboots phone, but then the screen freezes at the galaxy s2 logo. I have to re-enter download mode to get off that screen. The phone never boots up after that. I need a link to a .tar file for a rom so I can flash through odin.

Flash back to stock first. You need to flash everything for the I777 that is in the i9100 package that caused the problem. Use an archive program to open the i9100 tar and look at the contents. It probably includes boot.bin, sbl.bin, and param.lfs. None of the stock I777 packages that you tried to flash have those. In that case, flash the I777UCKH7-CL503881 Stock Binaries from the Download Repository, which contains those files.
What Creepy said is accurate. The reason yer messed up is you flashed i9100 bootloaders most likely.

U need to flash stock firmware with odin to restore functionality to the phone. Search for "stock firmware uckh7 i777 xda" with Google or search for creepyncrawly's profile here on xda, in his signature he has links to return to stock. Good luck.

Ok this is not being mean or rude, but if you dont know the meaning of these basic terms then you need to stop what your doing and spend some time doing your homework. Will you be with out a phone for a few hours? Yes but this is the price you pay for doing something before you understand what your doing. So please before you do something that cant be fixed. Do the research.

[Q] .:New Method to root Andoid:.

Hello,
I am currently using the Samsung Galaxy SIII GT-I9300. Bought this device last April. At that time I was completely new to rooting device. I didn't know what to do. I searched online about rooting device, read many post by users in various blogs and threads here in XDA. Then I was very curious to root my device. But even then, though i knew what rooting was and its merits and demerits, i had no idea how to root my device. So I started searching again for an easy and fast way to root my device. Then I came me across the framaroot thread here and thanks to the developer of Framaroot, I was able to root my android safely without any problems. It was a very useful app for beginners who had no idea about rooting.
After few months, I received a firmware update. I had no idea what changes it would bring about in my device. In a hope to find out the new features, I updated the firmware. But sadly, there wasn't any noticeable change. So once again I seeked the help of framaroot to root my device. I was left with an error message and didn't know what to do. Again by searching on Google, I came to know about the OTA update about which I had no idea prior to the firmware update. I realized that the OTA update was a curse to Android rooting and I was left with my boring stock rom without anything. Today again I searched all over the Internet for a very safe and easy method to root my device but couldn't find anything like the framaroot. So here I am kindly requesting, the deveopers to kindly update the already existing methodsor make a new easy method to root android devices so that people new to android can experiment and enjoy root features. Sorry for the long story, thought it might be useful by explaining everything in detail. Hope I have not violated any of the XDA rules. If I did, I apologise for that too but please don't remove this thread. It would be very nice if anyone can find a solution as there are many people in the same situation as I am right now.
Thanking XDA and all the developers for there services.

Thanks for the post. Nevers seen this before. I will surely try it out. I have heard about odin before but was not confident to use it as I thought it may brick my device. Is there any root apps like Framaroot that can help make the process a lot faster and easier without the use of a computer.

1- Its the fastest and most reliable method I femilliar with- just follow the vid orders step by step (according to your device model), and no harm
should be made (unless you plug out your device in the middle of the process, or using a different model type- but even those can be resolved).
2- No apps that I know. Although i would not recommend it even if I found one- just seems too riksy than using the computer...
Basically all the OP questions are answered in the faqs and guides .
Root is constantly updated as and when possible but its not a simple question of just making a new one . Read the relevant root threads .

If it was only that easy on S3 would save a lot of trouble ..yep follow instructions in thread and use PhilZ .tar.md5 not the zip file and if you are flashing CM 11 you do not need to root the rom is already rooted.

[Q] Rooting SIII clearification

Dear everyone,
i am getting in the next days the samsung galaxy s3 and i would like to prepare myself about what i should do to root the phone (and save the EFS folder).
I had from a colleague a samsung galaxy s2 which lost the IMEI and EFS folder, that's why i know that is crucial to save all. Plus i excercised on it to root the phone.
On the SG S2 i routed the phone loading the "philz-touch_3.00_i9100-signed.zip" with the phone and then applying the "Root_SuperSU.0.98-Busybox.1.20.2-signed.zip".
Phone was magically simple rooted and as simple as that, could be again unrooted.
Now, I am checking what to do for the samsung galaxy s3, but it seems that the procedure is not so simple and riskless anymore.
I read almost everywhere that the procedure is the one found on this website http://techverse.net/root-samsung-galaxy-s3-android-4-3-jellybean/
The procedure descripted asks me to use odin and from my experience with SG S2, this is there for reflashing the phone, or better to put a new rom in it. So if i did not understand wrong, with that procedure i basically put a new rom that is rooted. Am i right?
this is not really a good solution for me, as the unroot would not work good anymore.
Searching then deeper in the xda forum, i find this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/orig-development/i93xx-philz-touch-t2002953
So this seems to be much more similar to the one i applied to my sg s2.
Now the question is, why if this is much more simple, is so less shown as a solution and result on google?
is that "philz_touch_xxx.zip" + "Root_SuperSU.0.98.Only-signed.zip" for rooting the SG S3 as easy as with the S2?
Sorry if this question might have been already posted and answered. i just could not find it in the forum.
Thank you in advance for your attention!

So you mean that can be easily rooted with the files "philz_touch_xxx.zip" + "Root_SuperSU.0.98.Only-signed.zip" ?
does it flash a new rom somehow or just makes the device rooted?

ok so basically i just have to press volume up, home, power on button, open the CMW in the sd ("philz_touch_xxx.zip"), then from there apply the zip file "Root_SuperSU.0.98.Only-signed.zip".
correct?
sorry that i ask over and over, but i cannot brick this phone
You can't install philz recovery from the stock recovery, you would need to flash the .tar version with odin -so you would be better to use CF autoroot as recommended in the sticky guides.

WOW thank you so much! I read it and now i have much clearer ideas.
SO: i will just root installing a custom recovery, but no room. perfect and clear like water.
Now i have a question that might have been answered in those threads but i just did not see it (or i would not ask i promise):
If i let the samsung galaxy S3 android upgrade to the latest android version through the official tool KIES, and THEN i make the root, so i have the latest android version, is it possible? If yes, can i use the same tools indicated in http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/general/ref-understanding-basics-rooting-s3-gt-t2362743 ?
Thank you for the links!

AWESOME!! so that means also that if would ever come out any future android upgrade, in order to upgrade officially i should unroot the device, restore the stock recovery, update via kies and then re-root again. I think i got the whole thing!!

I was checking on the samsung galaxy S2 (previous phone) the CMW installed. There, in backup and restore, there is "backup" "restore" "delete"....
is that backup the NANDROID backup? if so, why isn't that clear like idiot prove (like me ) ?
Okay. Flash cf auto root in odin. Just go download mode on ur fone, then connect it to the pc. Then just flash the cfautoroot file in odin. No nid for cwm. Flash cwm AFTER u flash cfautoroot in odin.

ok you wrote really nice, but i don't understand what i should do after connecting it to the pc. You wrote "then just flash the cfautoroot file in odin", but isn't it what you wrote me at the beginning?
Instead of asking people to write out exactly what you want to do, just go and follow the guide -they are provided for that reason to help new users safely root etc.
