[q] htc amaze 4g turned into a zombie! - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hey guys
I have an HTC Amaze 4G
bootloader unlocked
RUBY PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.93.002
eMMC-boot

I was in the process of rooting the phone.... the bootloader unlock process was simple enough but when i download the Hasoon2000 tool kit things started getting more complicated i flashed the recovery(TWRP 2.1.0) and pressed the permanent root option.
after it did its thing i could not find the SuperSU.zip file anywhere to flash it so i rebooted the phone and after going around for hours through forums i found some people saying to do a full wipe and that should fix the issue.
so i did but i think it deleted all my stock files from factory so now my phone is stuck at the HTC white screen when booting up and no matter what i try doing it isnt flashing anything to try and get it to boot up fully.....
i am not all that knowledgeable on fixing these issues if possible i would appreciate any help.
thanks

If you did a Full wipe and deleted the system, then yes, your device won't boot. What happens when you try to flash something? (Do you get an error, etc.) If no progress is made there, boot into fastboot and run your device's RUU.

[Q] I think I may have messed up big time....

I'm pretty sure I made a pretty big NOOB mistake here....
I was running the CodefireX CM10 Nightlies and was having some problems with my WiFi and 3G connections, so I went to change roms and wiped full cache, davlik, factory.
I flashed the Mean Rom and was stuck on the boot screen... In a panic, I quickly wiped and went back to CodefireX only to find that I was stuck on the CyanogenMod bootscreen as well for over 30 mins until my phone died.
I started fishing around to try to find a resolution to my issue and was told to relock my bootloader and RUU, so I did and the RUU failed.
The RUU that I ran was:
RUU_JEWEL_CL_ICS_40_Sprint_WWE_1.12.651.2_Radio_1.02.11.0423_2_NV_SPCS_2.28_003_release_257970_signed
I lost TWRP, cannot boot my phone past the bootloader and am lost with no idea on how to get my phone working again.
Currently this is what I have on my screen.

You need to try ruu 2.13. You have hboot 1.19.000 and any older ruu than 2.13 won't work.

The RUU you ran is an older RUU as far as I can tell you need the RUU for your HBOOT 1.19 that may be the reason it failed PM om4 he knows alot more stuff then me regarding this area
Just run the latest ruu and you should be fine, for future reference meanrom will hang and reboot. The first flash (clean flash) will take anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Should the kernel installer fail then you extract the boot.img from the Rom zip and place it in adb tools or SDK and flash it in fastboot

[Q] EVO 3D GSM boot loop after ics ruu

Sorry to bother, I was to post this last night, then I tried a bit more and failed, I really need help now!
htcdev unlocked Evo 3D GSM(shooteru)
HBOOT shows below:

I have been through and still in this mess since last afternoon, totally noob at the beginning, so forgive my stupid mistakes please.
1. I tried to use cwm v4.0.1.4 to flash the cm9-20130310-nightly-shooteru.zip (with gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip)into the phone, and wiped cache and data before install zip. But after the installation, the phone just stuck at the HTC logo screen, fastboot mode and cwm are still available.
2. Flash in the boot.img but no luck.
3. Tried the official RUU_SHOOTER_U_ICS_35_S_htc_Asia_HK... but error 155 was reported.
4. Then I do some google and drag the rom.zip file from the RUU, renamed it to PG86IMG.zip and copied it to my SD card. FASTBOOT loaded the file, but the situation doesn't change a bit.
5. Google again, change my CID according to the android-info.txt extract from the ruu rom, relock the phone, and the RUU installed successfully, at least it looks like that at the moment, but it comes out that it just stay in boot loop.
6. Now I dont even have the official recovey(also boot loop), unlocked it again thru htcdev, tried to flash in the cwm touch v5.8.0.2 for shooteru, did not work. So status right now is unlocked, s-on, hboot 1.53.0007, no recovery, keep rebooting.
7. Exhausted and frustrated, I come here for any help. It's driving me crazy now, 'cause this is a friend(a girl indeed)'s phone.
I really need your help, pls!
Appreciate any relate information and concern in advance!
#################################################
rerun the ruu and set to the factory mode in hboot, problem solved!
forgot to mention
I don't know if this still matter though, I can see the cm9 robot screen after the RUU install failed in the step 3 because of wrong cid, but it stuck about 20 minutes, so I changed to the RUU method.
I think you have to be on an hboot 00007

So the problem here is that my Evo 3D GSM bootloops no matter what i flash. I can get in to HBOOT and Fastboot but can't get in to recovery, or boot a rom. I tried flashing various versions of cwm and 4EXT and none seem to work. I boot to HBOOT select recovery but it just goes back to bootlooping. Tried flashing various roms (had Viper3D for like a month and then one night it started bootlooping), even tried flashing a RUU multiple times but the bootloop goes on. And since that didn't help i unlocked again and downgraded HBOOT. For a period of time the phone didn't boot but that was because the battery is drained and can't charge when off, so I'm using a Desire X battery.
Before flashing RUU

Any ideas would be helpfull.
I don't know what ruu you need, but you need to make sure its right.
Then without hooking your phone up, run ruu on windows.
Let it load up, the go to run and type %temp%
In the window that pops up, look for the newest folder, that will contain a file named rom.zip drag it to your desktop.
Rename it pg86img.zip
Now, you need to get that file to the root of your sd card, use a card reader, another phone, something.
Make sure it is the only pg86img.zip on your card.
Once you have the pg86img.zip on your sd, put it back in your EVO, and boot to bootloader. Accept the update and it should do the rest.
Do no relock before you do this. It is not necessary.
When you finally get booted remove that file or rename it.
Hope that gets you going

Sorry for taking so long to reply, didn't have the time until now. I tried your method and it still didn't work
Though this I might try but I'm not too cozy with having to brick my device and i have no Linux experience. Not much else I can try...
Also is there a way to get back S-ON, because a while ago I sent the phone to repairs but they rejected my warranty because of s-off and revolutionary. Is my warranty still valid even if I revert back?
are you sure recovery is flashed ok? drivers may be the issue. try reinstalling drivers and running RUU or flashing recovery

[Q] phone s-on, no rom?, need some serious help!

When it comes to rooting im usually not a noob and I can usually figure out how to make it work or fix it. But I have a problem, I tried flashing Dirty Unicorn (newest one) and well I guess I didnt realize i had S-ON so my system ended up not working and when it boots up all it will show is the white htc logo (no beats logo) then it will reboot and keep going. And I tried a lot of things and none worked and I ended up relocking my evo.(oh and what do you ****ing know, when backing up it all it backed up everything to phone memory and not microSD so thats allll wiped) Here is what i see

Okay and well i can't access my twrp recovery now either (oh ****) and I finally find the androidruu and the jewel but I already hate the stupid site because my download speed won't rise above 70 KB per second and thats not even the average speed! (I have a considerably fast internet) but its the only place i can seem to find the RUUs and Im still not sure which one to use but i know it has to be one of the last three (I hope im right?) And well ive tried doing all the S-off but never seemed to work. The people who make DirtyRacun also need to be more specific, could have had it completed but i never started since I only saw a linux option -.- So i skipped it but it seems now my only hope is on the 3 hour long RUU download which seems to be randomly stopping and saying completed before it even finished (on two different computers). Can anyone help me out? Also I bricked (soft i think) my last evo lte but I was able to recover it with ruu but this time it seems im totally stuck.
You need to unlock your bootloader again, first off. Second, hit the link in my sig for fixing the phone after a system wipe. Third, you really need to S-off.
Also, there is no RUU for you to use with what you're running.

ALL RUUs fail - Hboot 1.15 - TWRP recovery and Fastboot is all I can do

I was migrating from an older HTC LTE to a different one due to a cracked screen. I tried to use one nandroid from one to the other.. This failed. I believe it was due to partition sizes being different (that is guess based on what is coming).
Since then I have tried many different RUUs each fail to finish with a 159 error.
Here are the RUUs I have tried:
Code:
RUU_JEWEL_CL_ICS_40_Sprint_WWE_1.12.651.2_Radio_1.02.11.0423_2_NV_SPCS_2.28_003_release_257970_signed.exe

RUU_JEWEL_CL_JB43_SENSE50_MR_Sprint_WWE_4.13.651.4_Rƒ?Ýigned_one_step.exe

Manually I can fastboot and flash the boot image.
Trying to flash system gives me an error about the img being too big.
Is there any way to force the partitions to resize? Or what are the next steps?
Here are my current versions:

Thanks in advance. At this point I just want to get a out of the box rom to load so the phone can boot. Do not even care about root or anything other than booting a rom.
Rick
Since you are s-on you need to re-lock your bootloader.
I assume you mean I need to unlock (S-OFF) the phone? I am not sure why to flash a RUU? Or are you suggesting something else?
Crazy, strange that I never knew that you had to be S-ON to flash an RUU. Seems like a stupid requirement. It is flashing now, getting much farther, so I guess it should work this time.
Thanks for the heads up!

You don't have to be s-on to flash an RUU but you do have to re-lock the bootloader.
