I have my i717 unlocked and on TMOBILE ok question I hate the at&t startup animation as well as the 4G indicator. Can I flash the TMOBILE note ics stock rom onto my at&t note? If not is there an app that can change my 4G indicator?

Short and sweet, no you shouldn't flash a non At&t rom on your At&t Note. However after reading and researching a bit you may find a custom rom that you like and/or there may be something useful in the theme and apps section.

Well is there a way I can get the 4G indicator from the TMOBILE version? I hate the one on the stock att rom?

Just put a piece of bacon over it. Then you won't mind looking at it.
But truthfully, to change that icon is a difficult and lengthy task. So far, no one has done it, that I know of.

Try this and/or this.
Also, you could try to change your PRL to 11115, it's a business PRL and usually gets a decent signal.
these speeds only means one thing, you are under 1x instead 3g, so i think your line needs a maintenance...
Definitely call them and complain, they can't do anything about it if they don't know its bad in your area. Try asking for a 'refresh'.

Depends on alot of variables. What you posted is average id guess. Late at night ive pulled 28+. I think it depends alot on network traffic.

try changing to a different server. The default one is the closes to you, but that one might be overloaded. Manually switch to the next closest server and see if that changes anything. I just got 4.5 down then switched servers and got 9.7 so try that.
It works!

Did you just make it a system app and set perms, or data/app?
(Dunno why I'm asking, I played with it on sIII and didn't like it, lol)

Why would I want that crap on my HTC? NO way!!! Not for me!!!
Eh to each their own. Some people may like it.
For example, MIUI is a popular thing, but I don't like it. Who knows, maybe someone likes Samsung software and HTC design.
GS3 with sense? I might would consider it more like that. I despise touchwiz with a passion. No wonder apple sued them. Reminds me of an iPhone more than anything else android.
I will stick with Nova.
Variety is a great thing of android.
I ran launcher 7 for a little while. Mostly because I could.

I looked in the s4 manual and its not in the status bar icon glossary.
Its the home network looking one. Is that what it is?
It comes and goes.

Im still a bit confused on it though. Maybe I dont get what the network extender is but I dont have one. Is the s4 one? That sounds like a dumb question is someone using my network connection?

Seems like a few have this on Verizon's network..from a triangle to the home symbol you have.
Signal booster-maybe one of your neighbors have one if you do not.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=29371173
I was freaking out about it too. Makes sense about the network extender, pretty sure a neighbor has one because vzw coverage is horrible in my current neighborhood.
