[Q] Bluetooth auto connect issue. Please help! - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was on stock uk three rom and started to have problems with Bluetooth auto connecting to my car. It had been working fine since I got my phone back in June. I decided to try stock XXBLG8 to see if this helped. For a week it has been fine then other day upon entering my car my phone didn’t auto connect up. I have done some reading and found others having a similar issue but can’t really find a fix for this issue. My S2 worked perfectly for the whole year I had it. I have removed some app etc that were more recently installed but this obviously hasn’t fixed it. I don’t understand why it was fine for nearly 3 months and now this. I really don’t want to factory reset in case the issue is still there afterwards.
Anyone know why this is happening? Is it a bug with the phone?

Anyone got any idea about this?

[Q] Microphone not working

Hi, I'm a bit of a newbie to XDA, but I came across a problem which I browsed the forums and the internet for a few hours to solve to no avail. A few days ago I made a call to one of my friends who apparently couldn't hear anything from my side. I checked this over and restarted my phone a few times to see if that would fix it. Unfortunately the problem persisted, and when I tried to record any audio, all I would hear from the playback is noise. I assumed that it was a faulty flash of Trigger v2.8, but ODIN'ing back to stock didn't seem to fix the problem. I use the phone in Canada, and won't be visiting the US anytime soon, so I can't go to a T-Mobile booth to get it checked out. Is there anything I can do? Any help is greatly appreciated.
check settings and make sure you do not have anything off, that could happen, But if you can't resolve find a compatible kernel for your ROM and try flashing that. That usually will fix most problems.
Good luck
Thanks for the help, but I was unable to fix the problem using these methods. I'm starting to believe it is indeed a hardware problem, but I would want to receive some more input and where I should take it to be fixed if that's the case.

[Q] Problem, Stuck in Black screen doesn't wake up

Hello!
Well... I have this phone since yesterday... I plugged to the computer with Kies, and well, a update was available... now the phone have Froyo and the aesthetics changed completely, it looks awesome.
But, the phone have this ANNOYING problem that, after using it... like 5~10 minutes of no activity, when I try to use the phone again it doesnt work... doesn't respond to any button, I have to take off the battery in order to restart it and that over and over again...
I've realized also that this happens when I'm using wifi, if I left the phone with wifi on this happens, without wifi seems to work fine.
Somebody have any clue what could be? there's little information about this issue in the internet...
I think I'm going to return it but I want to try everything I can do (without voiding the warranty) since the phone was perfect for what I wanted.
Thanks in advance!
Hey. I got the same problem here. It only happened a few times when I just had froyo that came stock on my galaxy 5 but I recently installed cyanogenmod 7 and now its happening everytime I put my phone down.
So I'm guessing it may be directly related to what rom is installed? I've heard about it happening a bit to people who have 2.1 installed to.
I dont know too much but it seems the only fix is to take out battery and turn on.
Sorry I can't help more. I hope somebody knows a bit more than me on this.
Think this is called something like the 'wifi sleep of death', something to do with the rom. i'd try change the rom and see if it still occurs
Thanks for the hints tho!, but I returned the phone... it seems that is a bug related to the update of the phone, since I know that with the out of the box 2.1 version it doesn't have that issue...
You know, the mobile carriers also do weird stuff to the roms... -__-

[Q] SGS2 In-call problem

So I normally use a HTC device, but this time I need help with my brother's Samsung Galaxy S2 device. The problem is that from time to time, while in-call, i can't hear anything in both speakers, no matter what I do. The problem seems to come and go without me doing anything. I had it "fixed" in a service, but they just replaced the earpiece-jack module(which seemed to have worked for a day or two, but the problem came back). I have done numerous software resets, using the special recovery that samsung had provided (volume up+home+power), and had my software reinstalled at a service, but nothing seems to have worked. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? If you do please help me..:crying:

[Q] SIM-Card Issue XT910

I posted here a few days ago because i have been encountering problems with my xt910. It just runs out of signal out of the blue. So I was told to uninstall “CellBroadcastReceiver.apk ”. I did that and got signal back again. But then, one day after, everything started all over again. I thought it would might be a hardware issue, but since it recognizes whether there is or isn’t a SIM-Card, I think it’s more like a bug idk. I have already tried another SIM-Cards and also tried mine on another cell phones and it works normal. I was looking through some threads here and desperately tried quite a lot of things but unsuccessful till now. Has anyone an idea of what might be causing this problem? I used an app called Titanium Backup to uninstall CellBroadcastReceiver.apk. Since then yeah i think it was uninstalled, because it does not show up in the application's list anymore. But maybe have i done it wrong? If yes, how could i find it? Or maybe is it another issue? Idk, i'm really new with this and i just wanna fix my phone xD
I am using CarbonROM with KitKat 4.4.4 and a Vodafone Germany SIM.

Broken Dialer function, freezes phone

Hello,
My problem is very weird and i couldnt find any solution for it yet. Some time ago when someone was calling me i couldn't hear the voice and the caller couldnt hear mine, when i turned speaker on it was all fine. I tried to work it out by installing and uninstalling certain things in the phone and'ive come to the stage where if i try to call someone or someone calls me my phone freeze (nothing can be done) and then restart itself.
My current ROM is latest nigthly CM 12.1.
What could possibly cause this? I wiped everything possible like 3 times already, made factory resets, installed rom again and again, nothing helped..
EDIT: Ive tried installing different ROMS, CM11, CM12.1, Stock Rom, still same issue.
Loading the backup (5gb) of the phone before flashing it and doing all the stuff didn't help...
I had a similar issue on my old S4. Turned out to be one too many "drops" by my baby, cracked the circuit board behind the glass. This caused issues with calls not going through, cant't hear people, it disconnects by itself, sporadic reboots, some force closes, and eventually me trading it in for the S5..lol That was my 2nd replaced board in that S4 in as many months. Needless to say, my daughter does not play with daddy's new phone any longer..lol That was my experience, hope it helps. Good Luck!
Thanks for the answer, but unfortunatly i treat my phone pretty good and it would be a big coincidence if something mechanicly broke inside it, as i said it happened the same day as i uninstalled Hangouts and something else with Root App Deleter...
