I am wondering if CyanBook JellyBean Edition V 1 is compatible with the Funbook pro 10.1
last week I tried installing ClockWorkMod Recovery on my funbook pro tab. Something went wrong in the process and the tab was stuckup at with the micromax logo, got it recovered from the service centre.
I want to try it again but dont want to mess up again, want a confirmation from someone if the process is same as for the funbook p300

No nandroid backups wont work, flashing through Livesuit needs IMG image file of the firmware. If there is a rom dump, then the firmware can be created from linux and andriod sdk.

I have got cwm installed and everything ready, in the process i lost the stock ROM and i am now running the P300 ROM due to which the touch screen doesn't work. I need the stock ROM or any other custom ROM compatible with Funbook Pro i.e P500

Can u provide me the details of jellybean rom which u have flashed on ur funbook pro, and the cornfirmed method for installing CWM and rooting the Pro. :fingers-crossed:
Its flashed with cyanogen mod jb v2.
It was bit tricky to get CWM working, initially had bricked the tab while trying to install, did the procedure same as P300 but got bricked. It was then i found that a Chinese ROM could be flashed using livesuit, so flashed that using livesuit (touch did not work, used usb mouse), then installed CWM using Novotools and flashed revocery.img, then did a restore from a backup of a stock rom, then flashed the cyanogen mod jb v2.

I recently got a OTA update for my phone,but i was not able to install the update. After some research i came to know that i needed a stock recovery image for updating. First download the cwm recovery from xda and download mt6577 scattering file. Now download sp flash tool and super user zip file from anywhere and follow the sp tool flashing process. After flashing the recovery through sp flash tool enter recovery[ you can use the method given in this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1982587 ] by holding power and vol up and flash the super user zip and you are done

Hello, It's great to see that the a800 got the jellybean update. Unfortunately the display on mine shattered after a nasty fall and I probably won't be able to enjoy it. The display isn't working at all(completely dead) and I'm not sure if the touch is working. I don't intend to get the display fixed but will find some use for it anyway since the rest of it still working. Before the fall however the most imp feature that I, or anyone really needs, USB debugging, was disabled. I am hoping that someone here might be able to help out. I am thinking about using a physical keyboard, via OTG, to manually go to settings and turn on usb debugging. The device is running the 4.1 stock update. No funny business, yet!
And I have the following questions.
1. At this point, I'm not sure if OTG is supported by the a800. Is it?
2. Can the phone be unlocked via it? The physical unlock button works, and there isn't a pattern just the standard slider?
3. If all of the above is possible could someone please post step-by-step screenshots, or list the steps, if screenshots aren't possible on how to get to settings and enable USB Debugging.
This would really help me out and give a device a new life. Thanks a lot.
Also, although I use xda a lot, I don't quite post as much so I'm not sure if this is the right place to post. I posted here since this seems like the only "active" thread about the a800. Please do let me know if you think I should start a new thread.

The guide that Encik_Racun linked to is a solid one that has many links and most importantly the full stock P780_ROW_s119 ROM (the ROW signifies that it is non-Chinese version and I assume what you need for Indian version) and the OTA updated version if you don't need the full one and only need to update. I will translate for those that need it in English and are having difficulty with the choppy Google translation of it. Thanks Encik...:good::good::good:

Did you get the soluce ? Because i have too tis problème.
Your only solutions would be too reload the official firmware or use a custom recovery to flash the stock build.prop or a new rom.

Hi Dude,I bought Intex Aqua trend Trend 4g about a year ago, and it felt so bad this mobile have no custom recovery and ROM,though I managed to root the aqua trend after several trials.What I actually did is flashing the firmware file by removing recovery.img file from the firmware file in sp flash tools, then i rooted my phone by using kingo root software by using pc.After all I rooted my phone i am waiting for custom recoveries and ROMS for this mobile.And hope XDA developers will help Aqua trend users to upgrade there mobile into cyanogen mod.Thank you.And dude get your stock recovery from firmwarefile.com
