[Q] Best ROM for battery? - Motorola Droid RAZR

I haven't been using stock ROMs for a while, and am now currently on AOKP JB, which is awesome. But I've recently had the need to be out of the house for an extended period of time, and i really need a ROM with good battery life.
So quick question, which GSM (or CDMA with GSM-patch) ROM gives the best battery life? I'm more inclined to think stock, and I've read that 676.226.3.en.EU gives really decent battery life. Or is there a better alternative?

Ive been using the simplex rom it has overclock and underclock scripts built in I have been on it for a few days and got 5hrs of screen on and 19hrs of power overclocked with 25% battery still left. Currently I am running underclocked to 1.0 GHZ to see how long Battery will last and sitting at 13hrs on battery and 4.5hrs screen on time and have 44% battery I think I'm doing well!!! No bugs yet either!!

SimpleX is for CDMA right? My bad, I should have specified that I was using a GSM phone.

i'm using magicmod rom, coupled with tasker to turn on 3g only when using data intensive apps like browser, youtube etc.. the rest of the time i have data enabled but 2g, and the battery only goes down about 2-3% a night, that's about 2-3% for 8 hours..

Battery life improvements in ICS

Hey guys,
Since so much information is thrown around every day about battery life and dual core smartphones, I have a simple question that needs answering (probably a simple answer but I want actual clarification). Will dual core smartphone users see improved battery life performance in ICS? I thought this would be implemented in GB, but I still notice my battery tends to drain at a quick pace on medium use (I don't get the idle drain others do).
Thanks for the responses!

I don't see what a new version of OS would have to do with battery life.
What depends on the OS, is downclocking the CPU and GPU depending on hardware lock, and this is done already in Gingerbread.
At the moment you can get additional battery life using freezing bloat, using custom kernel with battery saving profiles and disabling data when you aren't using it.
I am having great battery life on my Atrix (2 days of solid use).

What do you mean by SOLID use? How long was your screen on? Are you on 4g? What apps do you run.. two days of minimal use I am assuming...

Nope, not minimal use.
Wifi on most of the time. Screen on for 4 hours. Music player on for 5 hours. Occasional GPS usage.

Razr Rom with best battery

New to the razor...which rom is the most stable and has the greatest battery? This is a opinion poll, thanks

Ive only ran eclipse 1.3. It seems to be a little better than stock in terms of battery life. Ive read MIUI and gummy do provide some good battery life.
Im running eclipse 1.3, and my battery drains pritty fast. I have asked the same question. Everyone says eclipse is good.
You can also try Black Widow Rom

You can only go so far with rom's since all roms are running off of the motorola stock kernel. Best bet is to get any rom and then freeze all the bloat you don't need. Then get a copy of SetCPU and manually set profiles using the hotplug governor to underclock the cpu when not in use or under certain conditions. Also make sure none of your apps are keeping the phone awake and preventing it from going to deep sleep mode.
I found running Easy Battery Saver on General Mode to be highly effective and I'm stock and unrooted. I can easily hit 12 hours without a charge.

Black Widow ROM
Was last updated 4/28/2012
When I ran this on my OG RAZR I got around 16-19 hours of battery with moderate usage.

I can confirm that! Black Widow has the greatest battery lifetime I've ever seen on Razr! But I got more than 19 hours usually, and that with more than just moderate usage!
Someone tell me the rom epsilon v4 is a good option to save battery, but i installed and had no satisfatory results. =/
in all reality they are all good on battery, BUT I am running arctic v2.2 on .215 update leak and arctic has the highest ranking benchmarks of any other roms. it is very good on my battery as of now and I am overclocked at 1350mhz, but i dont run it at that always usually 1000mhz to save more battery. my benchmark score on this rom was 3500 which is the best I got out of eclipse and arctic. those are the 2 top leading roms right now when it comes to being completely debloated and having good battery life/functionality

[Q] Battery Life with ICS Rom

I'm thinking about buying an Atrix and putting an ICS rom on it.
For those of you who have an Atrix with ICS, what sort of battery life are you getting? Also, let me know what Rom you're using?
JOYOS V3 Excellent battery life

CM9 & AOKP both have excellent battery life.
Currently on AOKP 37a.
Atrix Head
So in terms of hours, how many many are you guys looking at?
These are guesstimates and not hard numbers since I dont actively keep track, but in my experience its been on par with Gingerbread. About 5 hours continuous use with the screen on, lasts between 1 and 3 days depending on how heavily its used.

[Q] Battery life on CM9 roms?

Is it just me or does battery life on CM9 for Note suck?
I know it's an unofficial port and all, but I seem to get significantly poorer battery life on the AOSP/CM9 roms vs the rooted/debloated stock ones.
On the OnlyOne rom, I got ****ing insane battery life. Like 36+ hours with normal/heavy use. On all of the AOSP/CM9 variants (Flapjaxx/h0twir3) I'm at 50% after 5-6 hours of light use.
Am I the only one? Am I doing something wrong? On every other device I've owned (Nexus One, Nexus S, Captivate, Streak, Sensation, Fascinate...) AOSP has gotten significantly BETTER battery life. There are no obvious rogue apps that I can find, and I'm running exactly the same apps on both roms, still, CM9 variants inexplicably get poor battery life on this phone.
The only thing I've noticed is that Android System is using way more battery on CM9 vs stock roms.
Am I nuts?

Maybe I'll try that one. I'm basically just trying to see if anyone else has the issue before I go looking elsewhere to solve it.

AOKP MR1 Milestone 1 battery life

I have a i9300 and I really like this ROM, has everything i need except one thing: My battery is going out pretty quickly compared to previous ROMs i used (Foxhound for example).
I want to keep using it, so is there a good way to get better battery life? I'm using the default kernel that comes with the install because I dont know which ones would work with this ROM.
Any sugestions guys?
Thanks!

You can try to flash a Kernel that supports underclocking and undervolting of your CPU like the Temasek Kernel. Also keep an eye on what causes the massive battery drain. You can install a CPU monitoring app to see what`s using your CPU the most.
Also what do you mean by battery drain? Do you make it through the day?

It's not really a drain, but I barely get through the day.. while with the same use i would end my day with 40% with foxhound.
In the normal battery control it says its 40% android use..
