Hi everyone here, i'm not trying to be noob here(if i am please forgive me), i search many many post, and no one with the same situation with me, so i had to ask here:crying:
I'm on Official MIUI 2.9.14 ICS build, and i wanna go back to stock ICS due to Lapdock compatibility. And this is the scenario.
I'm on Asia Retail 2.3.6 before that, flash follow MIUI Official guide, flash a EU Retail via RSD lite as following,
SPDREM_U_01.6.5.1-167_SPU-15-M2-3_SIGNEuropeAustraliaEMEA_USASPDRRTGB_HWp2b_Service1FF_fastboot.xml
then razr_4.04_europe_ota, then MIUI
so, back to what just happened, i try to go back to stock via RSD Lite again, since i flash a EU Retail before, and been told that it is impossible to back to GB, should back to ICS, then i assumed that i should flash back
SPDREM_U_01.6.5.1-167_SPU-15-M2-3_SIGNEuropeAustraliaEMEA_USASPDRRTGB_HWp2b_Service1FF_fastboot.xml,
so after decompressed, and flash, it got me back FLASH FAILURE.... YAY.... Fastboot Loop.... Phone LOCKED, Status 0
then i found the way to charge my battery, phewww. but..... i found one more thing, in RSD Lite, while i connect my phone in fastboot mode,
My phone is detected, status Conected, BUT.... in the above ESN, Technology, Software Version, Flex Version, DRM Version, Bootloader Version, Phone Type... ALL APPEARED as N/A
Now a charging RAZR, fastboot loop, i'm downloading Asia Retail 2.3.6, Downloading RAZR Utility(Seems like no use to me?)
Any suggestion what should i do?
RSD Lite, fastboot mode, flash Asia Retail 2.3.6?
or
RSD Lite, fastboot mode, flash Eternity Project Final ICS Eu Retail?
A very very thanks in advance, and please forgive my poor grammar.
Update : I found that i can go to original recovery (dunno what can do here), and on Boot mode selection(Volume UP+DOWN+Power), i can scroll down to BP HW Diag & Boot AP, then i can boot up my original MIUI, but it cant connect to pc using USB nor Charging on wall plug, USB not functioning, kinda weird, then i reboot again (Volume UP+DOWN+Power), this time enter BP Tools, yay... this boot up the MIUI too, but with functioning USB DATA+Charge... but everytime i reboot the RAZR, it ends up stuck at AP Fastboot Bootloop, i had to use the method (Volume UP+DOWN+Power) to boot up correctly, and if i do the (Volume UP+DOWN+Power), i wait for 10-15 secs, it will also automaticlly boot to MIUI with functioning USB.
Now what? LMAO..... what should i do? any expert here can tell me what to do? How to get back to stock ICS? using bootstrap recovery? using original recovery? using RSD Lite?
The same problem... Today...Any other fastboot file link maybe?
I flash with rsd: SPDREM_U_01.6.7.2-180_SPU-19-TA-11.2_SIGNEuropeAustraliaEMEA
Im in hungary, in europe.
Edit:
I install this via rsd lite:
http://www.eternityproject.eu/topic...-official-fastboot-package-for-motorola-razr/
Before this it is work all the time... But from miui now.... bootloop. :\
And no standard original recovery. It shows me an android and a "!" character. Any idea?
Edit2:
DONE!
I use this:
http://www.eternityproject.eu/topic/15-gsmcdma-eternityprojects-rsd-alternative-for-flashing/
And flash the same rom. when its finish, the phone's screen shows me that andoid and the "!" character... I push (random) volume buttons, and appears the stock recovery. Press Factory reset, then reboot and now i have a stock ics. Work.
Now i install the MagicICS. See what happens.

I've flashed an incorrect rom onto my phone (standard GSM RAZR, on T-Mobile uk) and I'm really confused about which fastboot files I need to flash to return it to factory default. Every so often I forget to charge it, and then I get the flashboot failure and it is astonishingly annoying to get it to power up and boot properly each time.

Is you battery charged? If not, you may need a factory cable. (you can do it)
You can fix your phone easily, so don't worry.
You have to flash an en.EU rom, just take a look here

Yeah, managed to figure out how to charge it with a standard USB cable and get it to a point where I can boot with pwr vol up & vol down and then select boot normally, but it takes all day, and I'd really rather not have to worry about letting it discharge.
Legend, Thank you
Hmm. Tried flashing this one - Branding: RETAIL en.EU
Market Segment: EuropeAustraliaEMEA
Version: 651.73.23
Android Version: 2.3.5
and all it gives me on RSDLite is "failed flashing process. failed flashing process. 1/11 flash cdt.bin "cdt.bin_signed" -> Phone returned FAIL.;phone connected". Am I using the wrong one, or what am I failing at?

Try this one
Sorted, thanks boss
Well I got myself into it this time. I have a Rogers Canada XT910 razr. I installed the Arctic rom and lost all my data connection, and all my apps and could not reload them from google play because it says they are already installed. So I did a wipe and reset and decided to try to use RSD to reflash the ics leak. The flash failed, and my phone is bricked. What's guy to do.
Thanks
John

That's the leak you need I guess.
There's just one Problem. You need an patched Boot. Img and the system signed of the necessary GB Rom.
I've not searched this Thread for an boot. Img. Maybe someone posted one.
I'm not sure, if you can flash the European Fastboot Files, to get an working RazR, till there's an solution for you.

Thanks man. I had already side loaded the leak that you had linked to so I was on ics before I tried the arctic. I will try tonight to install the European version. I'll let you know how it goes.
Well I am at my wits end.
I eventually got my phone to reboot back into the Arctic rom I loaded, but can't figure out how to update this rom or load another. I have tried with RSD to flash a different flashboot files, but they all fail. I have down loaded a few different custom roms and loaded them on my sd card and tried updating my phone from external storage through the Android system recovery utility but action is always aborted. I can't load any apps like rom manager, file manager, or anything for that matter. When I go to the play store and look at my apps it says i already have them all installed and can't load any. What can I do?
Well I can't seem to leave well enough well enough. tried a few more things and now the phone won't boot. It gets to the Motorola logo and turns off. So can I can get to fastboot and recovery or off. Brutally expensive paper weight.
Can help

I bricked my Rogers RAZR too and was able to fix it. It's a matter of finding the correct signed img and flashing it using the fastboot (when starting phone press power and hold volume up if I remember correctly). Will check what the name of the image is and get back to you. I flashed three or so different images before it would finally boot, then I was able to re-root it, install CWM and get back on my feet.:good:
The rom I loaded is European from here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1760702
I have been bricked before and fixed the issue, but after loading this custom rom the flash I used the first time with RSD does not work. I appreciate any help and I am willing to try what ever. I did not impress my wife with this one.
flash this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-1634223.html
then reboot....it will work
Thanks I will try it after I get home from work today.
[TUTORIAL]
1. Download the empty_radio.img
2. Turn off the Razr
3. Power On the Razr and select Fastboot Mode AP
4. Open the command prompt CMD
5. Go to the folder where the radio is empty
6. Make flash the radio with the following command and then type "fastboot reboot"
7. Rest assured I tested on my Razr this command does not erase the radio
8. This command will only restart the fastboot
9. Now then turn off the Razr holding vol - and power
10. Plug the Razr holding vol + vol - and power and have it start normally
11. Now restart the fastboot screen will not show more ...
This stuff is over my head. I don't know how to do steps 4,5,6. I don't know what to do in command prompt, I can't find the folder where the radio is empty, and I don't know how to flash the radio. I am totally lost.
Does any body have any other Ideas?
Have you tried fastboot with rsd lite?
Sent from my DROID RAZR using xda premium
Yes I have tried flashing several different XML files from different ROM's With RSD lite 5.7. The flash always fails. In RSD it says that my phone is connected, but it does not show my IMEI it just has N/A in that box. When I hook up my wife's phone which is totally stock it does show her IMEI. Could this be part of the problem?
So I have a rooted, unlocked atrix 4g running nottachtrix 1.3.1 (which is based off of 2.3.6 and the 4.5.141 OTA). anyway, the phone worked fine for a couple of weeks after i bought it. SOOOO I bought a lapdock just to use for long car rides and stuff (big screen movies). after about three days with the lapdock the phone started acting up so I wiped dalvik/factory restore/wipe data and reflashed Nottachtrix. Then it would boot up to Motoblur registration and after 2 seconds, shut off. So I did the restore process again and now the phone will only boot to the M logo.
I can pull up the "fastboot" menu but it won't actually open those options. For example, if i choose android recovery, the phone will stay on the M logo and say "starting android recovery" but it won't ever get to the recovery. This applies for all the fastboot options and also for just booting up normally (just stays on the M logo forever).
I read somewhere ( i think it was here) that some people are having a similiar problem and it can be fixed by using RSD and flashing an sbf (would that be alright with my unlocked 4.5.141?) and the problem originates from a problem in the webtop partition (which makes sense considering my recent use of webtop). However, as I can't get into rsd can someone help me? has anyone else had this problem?
Sorry didn't mean to thank you. My hyper kitten did that.
one of the thread i read earlier about a problem similiar to mine, someone did the same thing (accidentally thank someone)
Needs to be a way to unthank. Lol. Hope you get your problem fixed.
bumpo
I would try flashing the 2.3.6 sbf using rsd lite. That would at least get you back to stock, and you could start over.
I also use nottachtrix and I have no troubles, so I do not think it is your problem.
After flashing, if that doesn't fix it for you, you are ready for warranty, and they are being very generous with replacement at the moment. But go straight to Motorola, not where you bought it. If you bought it used, don't offer that info, they don't even ask that question.
Good luck.
Have you tried going to fastboot mode directly while booting up. (Volume up)
I faced similar issue while flashing a rom (no dock though).
Deleted the data (fastboot -w), wiped the caches, and luckily it worked. Then I could go into recovery and flash another rom.
Sent from my Moto Atrix using Tapatalk
except i can't get into fastboot or rsd. it will show that option and say "starting Rsd protocol" but it won't actually start the rsd protocol (atleast my computer doesn't recognize it)
i can get into CWM recovery, though i have to turn it on, selecet android recovery, and then plug it into the lapdock.
DO NOT USE RSD UNLESS UR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT.
if u can get to recovery and fastboot then do this via fastboot.
All CRAP REMOVING
fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase webtop
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase preinstall (not required)
fastboot -w (redundant, wipes userdata and cache)
and if possible reflash ur recovery too (might be the problem maker.
and then re-download ur favorite ROM and flash again.
I had such problems in gobstoper (bell stock) and this trick helped me a lot.
now i do this all the times.
Hello everyone, this is my second post in the community and as above, I draw you before the serious problem that has my cell phone and that despite the help of all of you still not solved enclose descriptions videos and fails the steps and followed over time. :crying::crying:

Hi,
Based on your video, I haven't see you flashed with RSD Lite and fastboot file.
You can give a try based on this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2231289
Download LATAM fastboot file (Chile should be latam right?) and download also latest rsd lite ver 6.1.4
Good luck and hope it will unbrick your phone.

reaches the motorola dual core logo and restarts :crying::crying:there some method other than by fasboot?, or some solution?
Have you download fastboot files that match with you region? if yes then you have same issue with me
So far what I know to flash is use batch file that developed by awesome developers here and RSD lite.
Have you try this:
- Go to boot menu (the way you get AP Fastboot menu) but this time try to select BP Tools
- and wait will your phone able to boot into system or not... If you able to boot into bp tools, get your phone root (JB is able for root now, get the thread in development), then install BMM to have it normal boot .. I got this suggestion but never able to have my phone boot in BP Tools, so I never know this works or not so good luck
- When you choose BP Tools and your phone still on M logo turn it off (you should wait only 10 or 15 minutes max) then turn off your phone and put it in boot menu to select BP HW Diag.. then.. we have same issue.. be prepare your phone only able to phone call , sms , taking camera, cannot access data only rely wifi , USB debugging not working, some fastboot files makes your phone not able to charge (I have to turn off my phone then charge)
I still strugling to have my phone back to normal also..

and tested with the brazil retail rom, fido, rogers ye had the same problem, my question is, if all the rom's the same that another problem will have my phone? , I can enter the ap fastboot recovery and all that d the stock recovery, my phone stayed brick to install a Chinese jb rom this tutorial :
http://www.chileandroid.com/t16992-romxt910jelly-bean-jelly-bean-41-2-china-retail-oficial
, Change kernel and everything that goes in the guide, that will be a problem? I hope you can help me from now thank you very much:crying::crying:
So I bought myself an Atrix last night, its completely mint. Except the phone is bricked.
I've done basic flashing on my Samsung Nexus i9250 and on other LG's and HTC's so I understand the surface level stuff.
Now, the Atrix powers on and hangs on the Motorola Logo says "UNLOCKED" in the top left corner, (I'm assuming bootloader is unlocked)
And I get a modem did not power up (0) shortly after it hangs for a while.
I've read on another thread that this is a hardware issue and it can't be fixed via flashing.
I'm hoping that's not entirely the case, the only thing I can do is boot into Android (no BP), and it restarts after a minute or so.
And I can boot into recovery, this phone has TWRP, which I did not put on, and am not used to.
Anyway I've been trying to revert to a stock rom, (assuming bell because I'm in canada) but I can't get my fastboot to go.
It just stays on "starting fastboot protocol" and RSDlite doesn't recognize it. (battery at full charge)
That is about the jist of it.
I'd like to see if a stock rom, recovery and radio image will get this guy up and going again.
Hopefully I can switch TWRP for CWM, or back to stock with fastboot and RSDlite, I don't totally know the process.
Thanks for any and all help in advance
I've got CWM now,
I think I maybe having a hardware issue.
Everytime I try to flash radio's through CWM or RSD, I get some sort of failure.
I can flash radio's through fastboot but it doesn't seem to help my situation.
Currently I'm flashing with RSD, first time around my device was an NS Flash Olympus and it failed at writing BP.
Now its an SE flash Olympus And I'm trying the same SBF.
It seems to fail when it switches to BP Pass through mode.
:/
Edit: In RSD everything is N/A
I can boot into Android on the no BP setting.
And flick threw a few menu's then the phone would die.
Baseband is unknown, I managed to get there in settings.
Anyone have any idea as to what is wrong here?
I'd like to know if I'm SOL so I can let the atrix gather some dust on the shelf.
Yep, it sounds like somwthing is messed up on the modem Hardware
