So I just got this message, and can't get it cause batt is too low, and I'm on 4.0.4 and sense 4.1 soo hmmmmm wonder what this could mean!!! And I'm completely stock also!!!

I've got the same message on my EVO. My battery was low as well, so I get the low battery, but it's only a firmware update. I doubt it's Jelly Bean. I've plugged my phone in and will wait to see what it is. I'm rooted with same version stock..
Did you guys do the contact app update from a few weeks ago? Maybe its that, I don't know.
I got some update that I did not approve this morning. I just had the message that my phone had been updated successfully. I'm running meanrom 4.8. After quickly looking around, I could not see anything different with the software.
I'm curious what this is too.

A few days ago, my phone acted like I was trying to update profile or prl(went to a black screen with a dialog that said something about an update, I was tired) and said something like "no firmware update found". I just updated my radio firmware recently, before that update, I wonder if Sprint is forcing the phone to search for a firmware update? But in my case, I already did it manually.

Well supposedly it should be released on the 27th (about 2 days from now), but even then you should just wait for a rooted version to be released from a developer here first
Hell we may even see a leak the day before
the question now is... is this actually jellybean or another security update.?
It'll be Jelly Bean with Sense 4+, I believe that's indicated with the full number change in the software

It's on the "leaked" Sprint note that came out a week ago, near the top of it.
Didn't they say on Twitter, that they had to hold off on the update? Something about issues with it.

It still hasn't dropped today. No one can really determine when it'll be, or if the leaked document is even legitimate.

Just got my lgog last night from att rooted and unlocked bootloader.
This morning i got a message saying there is and update. If l update will i loose root etc? And does anyone.know what this update is?

It was a small update to fix a bug some users were having.

Go to settings > about phone > software info, and tell us what build number you have. If (xxx)11o, then you've just received the 11c update in all likelihood. If your build ends with 11c, then it's something new. As mentioned above, my money is on the 11c update.

Thanks for the help probly saved me from a long headache.
I just got my phone sent to me this week from att and my software is 10o. Is it worth it to update? I'm not really experiencing to many issues as is and if I lose root I'll flip out.

Has not been officially released just yet, but it's floating around out there... Just got released in ARHD 20.0 (20.1 is their current build now).
Been using it bug-free, so far... worth looking into. You can find it in this forum.

Like most once I root I can't tame the urge to keep to tinkering with it!I would realllike to eliminate the bloatware though! This is my first sealed battery phone,and in years past I was able to save my own ass by pulling the battery,the HTC inspire i was using didn't always play nice when modifying? But it's still alive today,and for it's time a well made phone with piss poor support from HTC.

Yes, the new one needs to be a user app! Tried to turn it into a system app and it kept force-closing after reboot, so I had to turn it back to a user app!
Edit: Never mind what I said. I tried it again and this time it worked!

Yes, it's updated something that we don't know . You can update it from OTA
Maybe it was just a bug fix, cos seriously, no idea. I don't even remember what Personalize looked like before, certainly not any different anyway!

PS. About the Personalize app update, I received it a long time ago and it was described as a "security fix" in the update dialog.

I also had the notification about an update of the "Personalize" App, but when I chose to install it, it never worked... The notification about a pending update re-appeared every few month... I am now on Liquid Smooth 3.0 with Kitkat and there was no notification like that.
