Are you still on stock GB? As I tried on ics aokp v2 by supervenom and it boots, just no noticeable affect. It might be a little louder at max volume but not as much of a difference as xloud on the stock sony-based roms.

Works fine! Thanks for the tip

R800a that now says R800i cause of flashing enhanced ftf file with DiXperia 2 rom, it works, as said before not really a biiiig difference, and it makes audio improves on walkman app to crash. Not really sure it's worthy yet.

sure i have the 800i it works fine for me with cyanogenmod 9.1 i just flashed JB and havent testet it with jb but ill keep you updated

Any R800x users test? I saw ozzman test, and have it bootloop not sure if he tried on gb or ics. It'd be kinda annoying if the gsm/cdma difference makes or brakes this.
But I'm just stuck at at work and its painfully slow atm.

Did you guys follow the full post making the changes to the Build.prop and all. also if you have stock earphones dont bother to flash this.

I reflashed with Xperia NXT v1.3 Light Edition with LuPus v4 Kernel and using the AROMA installer, but DSPManager doesn't work. I tried installing it manually, but got [INSTALL_FAILED_OLDER_SDK].
Tried the SimpleZip_X but I can't hear any change in the sound either, instead, it breaks xLOUD completely.
I'll try using CM7 then.

Restore a backup, I don't think flashing the walkman app would work, it has extra apks and you would have to modify again your build.prop

Official Support of Xperia Neo V by Cyanogenmod

Finally Cyanogenmod has started supporting officially our Neo V.
Here's the link of the first RC for Xperia Neo V (haida): http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=haida&type=
To make it work use kernel 126 from FXP
Have anyone tried that yet? Becouse after flashing kernel from zip can't turn on my phone (black screen for whole time) and with fxp kernel cant install zip.
I've just tried it, same result...the kernel didn't even boot...
At least from now on CM is going to support us..

it shouldnt boot.after you flash kernel you must enter recovery and flash zip.(except if you mean that it doesnt get into recovery too)
i dont know
although i thank people at cm for their effort
and Im grateful
Its way to funny that a small change in hardware (camera ) hasnt led so far to the suppport of Neo v
On the other hand I havent tried cm but think there are many users that are using cm
SO ITS A BIG SUPRISE TO ME
cm supporting Neo v and the device doesnt boot
In other words do they have to reinvent the Wheel
I m burning my brain cells hearing this and why should anyone even bother posting 130 mb that dont even boot.
Sorry for wasting your time on behalf of the poster

at last some gud news .............

Is it just me, or is cm9 too laggy?
I mean homescreen scrolling is unbearable, even turning off wallpaper scrolling it feels choppy, ram usage is high even on a fresh install and the overall experience is worse even than stock ics.
I understand it's a work in progress and I really appreciate all the work that is done every week, but shouldn't the core idea be to provide an overall smoother and lighter experience?
As little as I have tried CM7 it managed to do exactly this and do it good, disregarding the things that never got to work.
Anyway I'll keep coming back every week and trying each new build hoping my issues will be fixed someday..

[MOD][CM9] 30 steps volume mod

Having troubles with the volume steps not being sufficient, I've decided to do this mod.
This adds 30 steps in the volume for media instead of the original CM9's 15 steps.
Just flash the zip and enjoy (As always I'm not responsible for anything)
Tested with FXP133 CM9 but should work with other versions too. Can make a CM10 version if anyone needs it
Hit thanks if you like it!

Fixing xLoud on Real ICS

I have a WT19a LWW with locked bootloader and today I flashed to Real ICS r5.2. Everything works fine except that when I turn on xLoud nothing changes, the sound stays low.
I tried to look for a solution so I installed a new walkman version that someone suggested it might work on this thread but turned my phone into a brick. So I flashed again thinking that maybe this time it would work if I did a clean install but the problem persists.
I don't know what to do anymore, so I hope you can help me!
i dont understand, how it can brick your sk17i? i was once use real ics 5.2 and i has flash the xloud fix(the files you mention above) but it did not brick my phone.. so far xloud is fix.. but the reason i back to stock rom is i got so many fc..

Do you think 5.1 is stable enough to flash again or should I just get Stock ICS or GB? ( Is really tedious to flash real Ics with locked bootloader)

That's why you need to test it first, I can't cofirm it because I have Xperia Mini Pro...but I think it won't give you any problem
P.S. In the 5.1 Real ICS,there will be a bug where the USB debug mode notification won't come out even you ticked the enable USB debug,to fix this, you need to edit some line in build.prop and change the number 0 into 1 at the USB debug mode line...

I'll try with 5.1 when I get some time. Probably tomorrow and I hope I won't brick it again. Could you explain a bit further on what file I have to edit? Thank you.

[Q] Downgrade from CM9 to stock rom 2.3.4...

Used Cyanogenmod 9 stable rom for some months now. Makes the phone fast. But a few bugs and small problems that makes me want to go back to GB 2.3.4
Camera is not to good, mms problems, touch feel on screen is a bit to crappy. And now i lost my wifi.. But i think that is my fault for playing with gemini app manager.
Anybody have any experience with going back from rom to stock? I have also unlocked bootloader.
So in sence i want my phone to run GB 2.3.4 and rooted so i can get rid of the bloatware if i must.
If a rom exists just as the stock i would like to know to. I guess that maby more easy to do???
I have the Mt15i version.

[NeoL][Rom Tested Result] Find the best ROM for us together :)

[NeoL][Question] Where can I find the best ROM for Neo L
Hi all,
I've tried several ROMs on this forum for my NeoL (unlocked BL). But no one work fine. I have trouble with exchange email, wifi, lock screen can't work if you set PIN (my company email require that), crash process com.android.acore, etc.
So I want to make this topic for anyone who use Neo L like me can find the best ROM for him to use.
In this topic, WE will list out all current ROMs that we had tested and it worked fine for Neo L.
Thanks and Best Regard.
@MOD: Please help me rename the subject into "[NeoL] List of ROM work fine for Xperia Neo L (Only)". I think it will be fine and not break our rules. Thanks
There is nothing like best rom. Visit the dev section and find a rom for urself. Everyone has different preferences. Check

If you're keen on Cyanogenmod 10 ROM then have a look at @TakuyaZ's thread at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2217269
You can use any Xperia Play Rom , if the kernel support it (4.1.2 ,4.0.4 ,2.3.x)
If you want to use a ICS rom, that have everything working, use the stock one, or wait for the revolution ics hd (new one)
if you want to use gb rom, stock is too fast. (lmao)

you have to unlock bootloader.
then flash any kernel which support with Rom. then flash..
very simple.. it is a matter of selecting a appropriate kernel ..
I have used MIUIv5.. Nothing is broke in it.. Don't expect gaming in MIUI roms.. They r feature rich roms and d features r mind blowing..
Racing xplay by smokerman.. It's based on cm10.. Best cm10 I have used.. He included some mods and tweaked fxp source further to increase performance... Nothing is broke in this rom.. Everything works fine...
Turbo UI is by cosmicdan.. You shud b knowing him.. He gave us d Turbo kernel which works for gb, ics and jb... One kernel for all roms with multiboot... His rom is so good.. Some minor white text on white background issues... Nothing serious..
Most of d ics roms for Neo L have something broken.. Thats y I am sticking to jb... And d development is very good at d moment.. So just sit back and enjoy new jb roms... As far as gb is concerned there are some roms which are confirmed working on Neo L.. It's listed in ghostfreak NB's sticky thread...
