Can anybody please link me to SMemo.apk and Myfiles.apk?
I would like to install them on non-touchwiz ROMs, if possible. I've read that they may not work on non-touchwiz ROMs.

SMemo will not work on nonTW roms as they are twframework dependednt..can't say about MyFiles..
However here are both the files for DLI8..
MyFiles.apk (2.5 MB)

Push them to /system/app and set permission to rw-r--r-- and reboot
zoot1 is right. there is a lot of interdependency between the TW framework and the S-apps.
The same goes for AllShare and a few other Samsung-specific apps.

To set permissions use a Root Explorer to push the apps to systems/apps then go to the file settings and it should have options to change the permissions, alternatively you can do all this through adb but that's more technical and coding but I prefer through adb or android terminal
Through android terminal:
su
CD systems/apps
chmod filename.apk 644
That's if you pushed the files already
You need root you could always use Google for this stuff too lol
I use color note not for handwriting much but it gets the job done alternatively just use a picture editor to write notes I don't really know if any note apps

You have not to install it! copy the apk to system/app/, then reboot and add the widget on your desk!
ps: I prefer beautiful widget...
I can't copy...it says something like file is read only..
I downloaded root explorer, found the apk file, made copy, access system/app and then tried to paste...

Here's an apk with the background for the 4x3 widgets set at 25%. I could go full transparent for all backgrounds if you'd like, but probably won't be able to get to it 'til after the weekend...

I use Task650 extreme ROM. I put this apk into /system/app but the application still not run.
I made what he said, open root explorer, system/app- click long on app and then at the option permissons I clicked them all...and them I open file 'app' and pasted the app...

If any reason you´ve installed another version of widgets from accuweather.com, look at /system/app for both com.sec.android.widgetapp.weatherclock.apk and SamsungWidget_WeatherClock.apk (there are a conflict here)
Mount rw /system/app
Copy files to anywhere you want to backup
Remove both files
Reboot
Copy file SamsungWidget_WeatherClock.apk found at begin of this thread to /system/app
Set permissions rw-r-r
set RO back
reboot.
Stock weather widget will appear and you can install Accuweather for Honeycomb from Market. Both will work together.

Didn't work for me on Pershoot's CM10 JB Mod either. Copied to /system/app and changed permissions but it doesn't show up in the widgets.

actually i did that and it worked but my widget is invisible, is this the widget i downloaded from this site?

I wanted this so bad that I just ended up making it myself.
This is a slightly modified Contacts.apk which has a scaled dialer pad for those of us running a different DPI than stock and don't want the dialer all squished into the corner.
***Please don't attempt this if you aren't sure.***
To install FIRST BACK UP your current Contacts.apk (and Contacts.odex if you have one)
Two Methods:
Using adb:
Code:
adb shell mount -o remount rw /system
adb push Contacts.apk /system/app/Contacts.apk
adb shell rm /system/app/Contacts.odex
adb reboot
OR using Root Explorer:
Copy this Contacts.apk to your SD card
Navigate to /system/app
Mount as R/W
Rename Contacts.apk (and Contacts.odex if you have it) to Contacts.apk.bak (and Contacts.odex.bak)
Copy the new Contacts.apk and paste it in /system/app
Change permissions of pasted file to rw-r--r--
reboot phone
Contacts.apk
Wouldn't root explorer work also. Might be easier for the newbies

First off its not that simple, you need custom twlauncher and twframework. These are already included in behrad cm7.1. I would extract them from there. Twframework goes in framework, launcher goes in apps, all found in the system file. Also I think it was mad team that ported keyboard, note, allshare and some other bits you can also use. I'll find the link for you.

in SYSTEM !! ... you scared then dont flash custom roms in first place !! ... backup your seclauncher3.apk and then remove it and add the touchwizhome.apk and set its permitions "rw- r-- r--" and restart it should work

I Did it and i dont like the launcher, do i need now to delete the touchwiz launcher i downloaded? and return the seclauncher3.apk to priv app and reboot and thats it? it didnt ruin my phone?

In your earlier post I have given the link for stock Samsung IME. Apk and its .odex file . please give proper permissions to it and check.
Also if you are unable to use it search for Shafta keyboard in XDA. it's a nodded version of google keyboard with number rows like Samsung keyboards. Also you can set your preferred language in settings.

download the attached .zip file

extract it on your sdcard. it contains the .apk file as well as its .odex file. it might be possible that you must have deleted the .odex file from the system folder also. it is necessary to have the .odex file in the syatem folder for stock odexed rom apps.
Use Root explorer. mount the system as R/W.
copy both the files to system/app/
give permissions as rw-r--r-- (see the image for permissions)
reboot the phone .
if not possible with the above, then download this app from the link below and install it
