Maybe it was written already in forum, but I used search tool and was not able to find it.
To enter Recovery mode on my Sony wt19i 4.0.4 .487 I had to spam power button when Suny logo appears, not volume down as it was written.
I got pvyParts 5.5.0.4 recovery.
Sorry if I break some rules, but I got bootloop after installing supercharger.
It is good I made backup.(recovery ended while I was writing this post.
Sorry again.
Just Tap your screen when Sony logo appers.

Normally tapping screen doesn't do anything.
Volume down again and again should work
I enter on my CWM recovery by taping screen when Sony logo appers and blue led appers.
Volume down key not work on ICS on pvyParts recovery.

Me too!
My Sony Ericson Live with walkman goes into CWM recovery ONLY by pressing power button rapidly on device startup. (Sony Ericson Text). Weird! None of other methods including Vol-Down work for me!

Yea, about a second, takes time to load all the stuff, as processor is not yet at full power.

depends on the cpu governor you are using, a lot of them depend on screen off to save battery..
Lcd shows up on boot screen if it even gets to that. after the boot logo image, it flashes a white screen(OF DEATH). My volume down and up keys are broken. Suggestions on how to fix?
Wow, you don't read much do you.

And in the same time it stay at the same page that you were using but when I press home button when screen went off I go to home screen instead of just turning the screen on :/ did you get it ?

It's probably because Svoice is removed.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Use the power button instead of home button.
Your screen thinks that It's still on so, you could just swipe or touch the screen instead of the home key.
It takes 5-10 seconds after screen goes black for the device to go to sleep.

u can use a widget to keep screen on,like "screen ghost widget" to toggle..otherwise wait 10-15 sec after screen turns of,then u will return to the last open page/app.
have a nice day..
