i have a problem with my mic, when i answered a call the receipent didn`t hear my voice clearly. they hear my voice very low. i need to use earphone to talk with them clearly.
how can i fix it and what probably the problem is ??

before this i use Xperia Pureness Rom. .
i`ve flash full .587 firmware then repair with PCC, it done sucessfully.
now i`m back to stock Rom Rooted with CWM.
i dont know the problem fix or not because my phone on charging. .
one my question is, my problem can fix with PCC repair function ?

It can, but will it, I don't know. We'll see.
Maybe some drivers messed up in phone and maybe mic is dying. If it doesn't work after you repair software, then you know where to go.

i check it about a week ago, i have an event last week. very busy. don`t have time to post on xda developers.
sony earphone that come with the phone when purchase it. .
ya, i think my front speaker doesn`t work.

i`ve already test with both option. . the result show good. nothing problem. i can hear my voice clearly. this problem happen only when i have a phone call. ):

Btw. you didn't understand my question above. You never reported if mic problem was solved after repairing software with PCC/SEUS.
anw, if everything works in service menu, reflash your phone and watch when things stop working again to know what you did.

sorry, i meant mic not speaker. .
i already flash 4.0.4 and 2.3.4 firmware. nothing changes. .
nothing of the apps stop working, .

ok, this won't work.. you can't concentrate enough to tell what's working what's not working, what you tried and what are results.
so just take your phone to service center.
i already take my phone to the sony service center, they had changed some part of my phone.
now i don`t have the mic problem anymore.

I have a Sony Live Walkman WT19i currently on Gingerbread.
Randomly, when I'm making a call, the speakerphone gets activated... or sometimes it's the dialpad and then I hear my face touching numbers!
Is the proximity sensor not working properly on my phone, or is this a common bug?
Don't know if this happened while my phone had the original firmware WT19a - now it WT19i , it was the only way to root it.
Any feedback to repair this, avoid it or something?
i never had such proximity sensor problem.
eventough i flashed it many times.
repair using pc companion or claim for warranty.

Tried repairing with PC Companion, but it stops in the middle saying it can't continue.
Googled the cause that PC companion could do that, and there are many many reason... tried a lot of "fixes" to be able for it to do "the repair" (wich I heard fixed this issue for some guy) and had success with none of them.
well, if your phone still ''virgin'', then claim it to service center for warranty repair.

whoops... what have you done to it so far?? maybe you can try a different kernel or flashing a ftf of another version of firmware to see what happens.
Edit: just remembered something useful, go to the phone app and enter *#*#7378423#*#* this will take you to the service menu, select service tests and then proximity switch so it will tell you if it's working or not.

As far as to have installed just now ICS and rooted it. Bootloader is still locked, but won't be for so long hehe.

Tested it. It works, but it is *very* sensitive. If I move a little the phone within my ear, it will sense off. So I'll have to try to have it very still everytime I make call (I DO switch my phone a lot with my hand when talking).

i do have same problem with my lww initially but i adjusted myself and now having a custom rom so their is no problem with this rom it wont activate any option when am answering the phone calls... i don't think its a proximity problem because in my custom rom it wont activate like what u said, so it must be a bug for sure!!! try having custom rom like miniCMSandwich or anything that u like...

How did you adjust it? I can't find any option of configuration for that setting. Could you share how you could fix it?
Or maybe you meant it fixed with the custom ROM.. could be. I hope it's not a bug but shouldn't be fixed now that I upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich? I wouldn't want to use a custom ROM

adjusted myself in the sense i got habituated for it and then got vexed-up with that and caught a custom rom, now its fine..

s it is.... i tried so many custom roms that don't come with four cornered bubble style.. almost they all solved but some what i like this rom so settled with this rom. u can try if u like..

Know what i just found this.
Very interesting it seems it may actually be a hw related issue and maybe you will need to take it back. Still i am searching for another way to fix it if you don't want to.
how many cm needs proximity sensor to say that it works ok??
For me it about 1,5 cm and i often touch my screen when calling :/

I have a strange issue with my s2, the mic records fine. But when I make a call the other person dosent hear me, I flashed different firmware but still no good.

installing stock ROM should work... strange... you are installing the correct version right?
it can't be a hardware problem as mic is working..
try to remove any malicious app maybe a call recorder??? cause that might be muting your mic??

Am even more flabbergasted then u can imagine. I installed 3 different stock roms already, including going back to gingerbread. I have even do a factory reset. Still no good. Am almost out of ideas

What happens when you use your hands free in a call?
For an experiment, you can flash a custom kernel and in the kernel configuration app you can boost the microphone output.
I will give a custom kernel a try when I get to the office. And I haven't installed any app

I'm having the same problem in Slim Saber 4.4.4 (build 21/12). When i call using phone mic other person can't hear me. When i speak through head phone mic they can hear. Also they can hear me speaking when my phone is in loud speaker.
I checked it in a phone repair shop and he said it is not a hardware problem
Still waiting for a solution.

I searched everywhere but i have a problem with the sound. Sometimes when a Notification plays theres an audible crackling. I dont know if its Software side or could be a hardware issue. Im running Existenz.

i never had this issue
try flashing a Stock FTF and see if ir still happens, if it still happens i think you can get a free repair under sony warrenty as this is likely an issue not caused by user wear

had stock the same ... thats sad .. its just one week old .. dont think i will take it to repair that will take too long, just live with it and sell it when the z3 comes out

After last official update (7.3.2.0) on Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon I got issue with vibration.
Button and keyboard vibration randomly stops working 5-10-15min and then works again.

Think your problem is the same as mine. Motor stop working randomly and start doing is job again in the same way.
Thought was a software problem, realized is an hardware one since i noticed that, when he stop vibrating, if i shake the phone, hes starting again.

You can send your phone in a xiaomi center. I saw you are from india, so you should have no problem. I'm from italy, this means i've to sent it back to china and wait a life to get it back. This is why i didnt resolved the problem and i lost interess on it
Think i'm going to wait the expire of the warranty and try to fix it by my own: i saw some videos and already tried to open the device, it shouldn't be difficult

No, the problem was because of loose connections so I reconnect the motor strip and also put a piece of paper inside the motor slot and tighten the motor. Now it is working fine.

I opened up my phone.
If you are not an advance user or don't have experience how to deal with phone hardware, I recommend you to go o service centre.
Otherwise you want to do yourself then first of all you have to check that if the motor is working or not. If the motor is working then you have to check the connection points the problem with me was because of loose connections and the motor was not tighten. Just check these points and you are good to go.
PS :- I always recommends to go to service centre because opening the phone voids the warranty

My phone is making a clicky sounnd when i shake it
Hi everyone,
Got my Motorola One 4 months ago in Saturn.de. Android 9.0 on board with March updates.
One month ago my speaker had stopped work. I'm not able to hear music/alarm/call.
But in headphones everything works.
I noticed some strange behavior:
If I start playing music, then go to Sound Settings and try to change call sound level - for few seconds I hear music from speaker.
How can I fix this?

Never heard of that problem before. At least not on Moto one.
But it sounds like it's software related since the speaker obviously works when you change call sound level.
Maybe do a backup of important stuff and try a factory reset.
