hello guys, I just brought a second hand galaxy s2.I want to knw if it had a water damage. When I took out the battery and looked for a water damage indicator there is nothing like that in it.instead of a white sticker that place is vacant.I wonder the first user had removed it because no one can say that it has a water damage.Or all galaxy S2 comes without that white sticker? can anyone please help me?..thanks in advance...

Hello,
Does anyone know if replacing the screen for the SGS3 will fix the pink tint and the ink spots on the screen.
And has anyone tried it?
PS: I can't warranty it.
Thanks
i suggest you hire professional help for this the pink spot could be a dead pixel or something and changing the screen could do the job

Hi, I can not find the water damage indicator on the AT&T Galaxy Note. I do see the indicator on battery. But I am looking for the indicator on the phone. I hope someone can tell me.

It's on the top edge of the battery where the contacts are. A little white square. If it's red, it got wet.

its right next to where the battery goes into the phone, its a small hole, if you look into the hole, its normally white... (right side of the battery area, about centered)...
Got it. It is unconventional but smart way of incorporating this.

Are there water indicators on the inside of the phone?

Removing the color doesn't fix the damage. Are you suggesting something along the lines of fraud? We don't like that here.

Agreed .....g
My amaze headphone jack is acting up so I want to get a warranty on it. However, my water damage indicator is red. Not because I drop it water or submerg it in water. I take it into the sauna with my in the gym and I guess the vapors created a slight moisture around the surfaces of my amaze underneath the battery, thus causing the indicator to turn red. You guys think T-Mobile still warranty it for me?
Very very doubtful.

Great idea in theory, but there's also another water damage indicator inside the phone. It's likely that the inside indicator is also red.

Yes there is a second indicator, but it may or may not have changed as well, only you can now this. There's a video on YouTube of a guy who got his wet so he did a screen destruction test as well as disassembly. In the video he shows how you can not break the "void", stickers but still access the I interior water dot. I can't get the link right now but I will try to find it later. But search for screen test for HTC amaze. He's at a small table and it's fairly long. Might help.
