Updating now.....
All good for me so far my gfs not the same luck
Fascinating AOKP Jelly Bean Sept 19 Tab Devil 1.4.1...

Flashed this, cleared dalvik and cache, samsung logo appears, then dissapears, and my screen stays black, touch keys do light up on press, but go out afterwards, can't get into recovery to go back to 1.4.1 kernel.
I know this was just released so just giving my feedback, and any ideas on how to get to recovery without starting using odin would be great.

Anyone give this a whirl on PA 2.13? I'm so tempted but the thread tells me to wait.
Edit: never mind, looks like it's not compatible over here either.

Updated AOKP to work with this kernel. Look for Sept-20.

this is really nice i'll test it and see

Guys - don't complain on "bugs more than features/working stuff". As release is far self explainatory - "PreAlfa". Hit thanks for that our GSM is not left behind and there are devs working on getting JB to us. Waited for ICS for ages, can wait for JB sometime

heres the link i got it from on pc:
http://goo.im/devs/psyke83/roms/galaxy5/cm-10-20121024-MADTEAM-galaxy5.zip
But that rom still is not worked, psyke83 is missing bugreports of cm9 first for continue with cm10 and cm10.1
I have this rom.. works great
But, I can't find the CyanogenMod Settings
The CM settings are removed since CM9. You can find them in the whole settings application
"the whole settings application" ? Can you be a little more accurate?
I can't find them in settings.. I can only find some appearance settings from cm, and the device settings
The CM10.1 settings are now divided and built in the settings hoping you can follow me

i heard that psyke83 wont update CM9 and CM10 . he will continue with CM10.1 . i have use it . its better and very suitable
for everyday usage
i installed CM10.1 but it too lag, why?how you can do it smoothly?
There is no way you can run cm10 smoothly on our device. Just stick to the cm7. Its the best thing developers made for G5. If you use more apps i reccomend you Esrom5 Bluedroid. It s gingerbread with jelly bean look. Works pretty smooth for me. No lag at all.
Poslato sa tapatalka using Pangalaktički Grgolj Blaster
I have CM10 and CM10.1 running perfectly as fast as CM7, thanks to a paid app on Play Store called Project Butter. I added also a bunch of init.d script for performance. My Galaxy 5 never become laggy using this sort of tricks, believe me, and i have also 92 apps installed, and some heavy and RAM hungry... i use also Greenify

well... I didn't like the AOKP pink boot animation much..... (Prefer something blue and black like on CM to match the UI)
but this build came with the Nexus 4 boot animation. (But I replaced it because I prefer the earlier nexus animation than it)
anyway i'll upload the next version with nexus 4 boot animation or new aokp blue & black animation (tried to get this work but couldn't finish it converting to S2 devices).
and thanks for downloading... and let me know if you have any more suggestions.... really appreciate...
Not bad for a first time port. Everthing loaded ok plus I dropped in AJK 1.19 kernel to sweeten it up a little. I have been waiting for something with the new mali drivers to use the latest AJK with. Also I really like the boot animation myself. I am not a big fan of pink unicorns but I do miss the features of AOKP. I will give you a good review over in the AJK thread. Good work on your first try. I need to sit down and start learning how to port myself one of these days.

Thanks for porting this - finally flashed it this morning, along with AJ's AJK v1.21a AOSP kernel. Everything seems to be working fine, except for wifi tethering. I can't get any devices to connect to my I777 using any kind of security. Setting it up as an open access point works, but either of the other security types cause other devices to not connect.
Has anyone been able to get tethering to work with security and AJ's kernel?

Thanks for porting this - finally flashed it this morning, along with AJ's AJK v1.21a AOSP kernel. Everything seems to be working fine, except for wifi tethering. I can't get any devices to connect to my I777 using any kind of security. Setting it up as an open access point works, but either of the other security types cause other devices to not connect.
Has anyone been able to get tethering to work with security and AJ's kernel?

you need version B i guess (from AJK thread):

-AOSP version has WiFi tethering w/security fixed

I forgot to post an update here. AJ released the b version after I asked about the tethering issue in his kernel thread - he had the same problem. Anyway, the b version works great - tethering with security, no problem.
I've been running with AJK for 2 days and everything has been running really smooth and stable. thanks for porting this awesome rom!

[Q] Very Low Volume

I've installed 2 versions of Jellybean on my GT-P7510, on both installs the volume is extremely low, making the device unusable for audio.
It was working perfectly on stock ICS.
Also, any notifications are at full volume.
I've tried tweaking every volume control I can find to no avail.
The installs were AOKP & Carbon.
Any ideas, anyone?

I tried installing A1 kernel (made a post about this earlier, with no helpful responses)
But whenever I install it on my P7510 running CM 10.1 nightlies, the screen orientation flips, so the screen is always upside down, no matter how I hold it. I made sure that I installed the CM version of the A1 kernel as well. I've had to restore my nandroid backup each time to get the screen orientation back to normal. Any Idea why?

I flashed this kernel with unofficial aokp 4.2.2 and I couldn't turn wifi on/off. Reverted back to my backup. I don't think this is compatible with jb roms, or is it?

well i'm pretty sure there's no version available for aokp, but I know from the kernel thread that it is available for cyanogenmod. Maybe not cyanogenmod 10.1 though, but I'm not 100 percent sure
