thanks to arifkpi for the link to Google Play Music! I could not get it from the play store for my VeganTab (Viewsonic GTab rooted) as it said it was not compatible. However with your link, I was able to d/l and install and now the music is playing!!!!!!

I installed a ripped stock music apk from here a while back that I love for it's folder browsing, lyrics and simplicity. Friday I had to wipe the phone and I cannot find it again for the life of me. help me obi-wan kenobi you're my only hope...

I've searched the forum and tried some Googlage but haven't found anything, figured I'd ask the Jedi Masters.
I themed the music app of the ICS beta rom since we cannot use the new Xperia S apps. Let me know if you like it or not

I don't know actually..
Try this with root explorer:
- Rename your music app to SemcMusic.apk.bak
- Place my music app in your system folder
- Change permissions to:
Owner: Read - Write
Group: Read
Others: Read
- Mount system as R/O
- reboot your phone and then you will know
If it doesn't work you can delete my music app and rename the default one back to SemcMusic.apk

Tried uninstalling it to make sound effects work,
Tried disablong xloud to make sound effects work,
Tried putting stock music/walkman player equalizer to flat/normal,
Does not work
Though the player is great
Just wanna make that option work
Though i can live without it

All others apps are older than those on google play
