[Q] Play store doesn't work - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

The play store doesn't work in my phone, after flashing FXP138.. He shows "Server errors"
Any idea ?

I had the same thing happen before. I go to settings...apps...clear cachr and data on playstore then go to google services framework and clear cache and data. Reboot phone. Should work after you reboot.

Thanks for your answer, but it doesn't work..

There's another thing you can try: In settings, go to accounts and syncronization, delete your gmail account, reboot phone, enter your gmail data again and synchronize. It worked for me once.

1st go to settings then application then all. Remove all accounts from your fone, Clear cache and data in Google services framework, Google Play store and accounts manager, and force close, make sure your time and date is correct (tick network provided) as nothing Google will work with incorrect time and date. And turn phone off and back on again and try signing into gmail or Talk app in, before trying the play store ...
I hope this fixes the problem....

[fixed] "error processing purchase df-bpa-09" on market after NAND restore

hi there
i use the omega 9.1 rom for about a week or so now and it's working great.
today i've done a nand backup and flashed paranoid android, and restored my backup after data+cache+dalvik wipe.
my only problem is that i get "error processing purchase df-bpa-09" whenever i try to DL an app from the market(free\paid).
i've cleared market cache and even uninstalled updates, disable and enable my google sync , fixed permissions, changed locale to english and rebooted sevral times.
*i have also tried via WIFI\3G, and to DL from the web with my acount.
but the exact same problem persists.
is there anything i can do before flashing the rom again ?

how do one remove the google account? there is always a need for a google account in the system.
thanks!
There is always need but doesn't mean you can't remove it.
Settings| Accounts and Sync
Hit your Google account and hit remove account.
You can add it back. And problem solved.
For me clearing the data of Google service doesn't work.
Even with reboot.
Remove account works.

[Q] stop google play from re-downloading apps

I factory reset my old unused S3 and I'm now trying to re-purpose it (as a wifi only device). The problem is when I re-add my Google account to it, Google Play automatically starts re-downloading ALL my apps to it and I don't want that (probably over 100) - I just need 4 to 5 apps from that account re-downloaded (I don't mind doing it manually). How do I get Google Play to NOT automatically re-download all those apps?

Gotta slide the settings screen over from the left and go into the Settings there and uncheck the automatic update over wifi feature and reboot (if you don't have data, because otherwise it'll keep going). I dislike this as well and always sign in on cellular data first and change the settings and then log into my wifi.
Not sure if that would of actually worked for me as I'd simply didn't want Google play to automatically restore ALL my apps to the device - I wanted to re-download only what I wanted, but still be able to use auto update for those said apps. Turning off autoupdate meant I'd have to manually update apps which is undesirable.
Anywho, I simply created a new Google account and used that. It turned out to be a better solution for me.
Thanks for the help though

Google Account Problem

Guys, when I login with my main G Acc I dont get any apps & updates in Play Store->My Apps; I login with my secondary G Acc and they appear instantly. I am almost sure that /data reset will fix the problem but I dont want to waste my time to again import backed up contacts, call & message logs, app data & so on. I tried clearing Apps->All->Google, Google Play Store & Google Play services data but still the same. Any ideas? Xperia Z3
You can remove the account from within the Settings without resetting the phone. I would then reboot and re-add and see if that doesn't help.

I did this a hundred times..the problem is that in my older account system apps were added to the account (https://play.google.com/apps) but on the new account they are not. I have to manually browse for system apps like hangouts, google, google play games, GP music, etc.. and then I see the Update button

I keep getting 'Unfortunately xxx-app has stopped' errors

Yesterday I rebooted my phone to recovery mode to perform a new nandroid backup. Everything was fine but after having booted my phone again, I get a lot of "Unfortunately xxx-app has stopped" errors. Most of the time the apps are Gmail and Google Play Services but sometimes also Google Play Store and the app just named Google. For now it has never been Calendar, Hangouts, Drive or other Google apps.
Apart from the never-ending errors I have to click away, everything seems to be fine. I get e-mail notifications, I can update my apps etc. The errors seems to appear when the phone is syncing. For example when a new e-mail is received or when I'm writing and sending an e-mail. Also when I'm updating my apps, the errors are appearing. If I put the phone into flight mode there are no errors.
Of course I've tried to reboot my phone. I've also deleted cache and data from different Google apps like Gmail, Google Play Store, Google Play Services and the Google app. I've tried to uninstall the updates from the same Google apps and update again. I've booted to recovery mode and deleted cache and dalvik cache.
On Monday evening just before I went to bed, I rebooted my phone and there were no problems, and from the reboot on Monday evening to the reboot and nandroid backup yesterday I didn't install or update any apps so I haven't changed anything on my phone. Even though I've removed all my newest apps just to be sure it isn't related to a new app or an updated app.
Now I din't have more ideas... Please help me!
